Absolutely terrible service. They lost two expensive duvet covers and were completely indifferent. No one ever calls you back. I eventually completed an insurance claim form but have heard nothing. Four months and nothing. Stay away from this company. read more

The customer service of this place from the employees to the owner is a joke. Have a problem with this business? Good luck having anyone help. "Over promise and under deliver" might as well be their moto. Dropped off a Kate Spade coat to be cleaned from a few coffee stains. There was a small threading issue on the left part of the jacket that I told the girl at the counter about before hand. The pre-spot caused the fabric to change the coat in places so now the coat is spotted. They sent it back to be fixed. Said it would be done Monday. Went to pick up Tuesday, still not ready. When I finally got the coat back it was not fixed. I asked that someone call me. They said I would have to call. I demanded to be treated like a customer, because I haven't been through out the entire process. I was told someone would call me first thing in the morning. That didn't happen, so I called. I was told the owner was to call me. Waited an entire day. That didn't happen again. When I finally spoke to him, he refused to pay for the coat because of the small threading issue that I told them about in advance. Good luck getting the coat back, took two days. Want to know the best part? The only way to possibly "fix" the coat was to damage the rest of it! Yeah, but they weren't responsible for the damage??? Avoid Just avoid!! read more

I agree with the previous post. I just moved here from Chicago and dropped my suits off the day I got here, picked them up two days later and when I got home I was shocked by what I saw. Minor dirt and stains were still on my clothes while most of all my items were wrinkled and had lines through them and not pressed properly. I paid over 60 dollars and would have had better results throwing my clothes in the Dryel bag in my dryer. read more

One star is about 1000% more than this place deserves. The owner, who is in my estimation a coward, has been called on at least two occasions and never returns the calls. He must be aware of the INFERIOR SERVICE being given by his establishment. My story is that my wife brought in two down comforters which were specially designed for my boat. When my wife went to pick them up she was told they could not find them. When she returned the second time she was told after the clerk called "cleaning central" that the items would be forwarded to the store that afternoon. "Cleaning Central" didn't know what they were talking about. Two days later one of the comforters still had not appeared. As of this writing the owner (Mr. David B. Meeker) has not responded to any of the calls made by my wife or I. While YELP is a great tool for the general public, I plan on bringing this experience to my neighbors on Hilton Head. I plan on telling everyone about this business. By the way, I have never had any of these issues with the cleaner in Pineland Station. Unfortunately they do not clean comforters. read more

Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the reviews of Inferior Cleaners. I mea n Superior. If anything the reviews weren't bad enough. There are no words to describe the mess they made out of the cleaning. The staff person is beyond incompetent, having never gotten off the phone both times I was there for drop off and pick up. Not only did they not clean the spot pointed out to them they added huge streaky spots to the garment. Possibly to divert attention away from the spot they didn't clean. Maybe if the staff person got off the phone and took the instructions I gave it would have helped. But I doubt it. read more

Superior to what? Horrible experience. Took 3 items with stains. 1 good. 1 came back and redid with the stain still there. 3rd piece totally ruined the zipper and is unwearable. Unfortunately, the dry cleaners I have been using for years next to Katie O'Donnell's changed owners to Superior and my first experience with them was horrible. They ruined one of my shirts and refused to pay me for it. Terrible. Their excuse was clothes "depreciate", seriously, they ruined a perfectly good shirt that my husband could have worn for several more years. Please do not use this dry cleaners. She blamed this on her employees and would not make it right. There are so many more options out there. Stay away!!! read more

I dropped off a skirt at the Arrow Rd location in September, 2018. It was completely destroyed. Came back a faded out color with black smudge marks all over it. The clerk told me to fill out a claims form, attach my original receipt from when I purchased the skirt and I would receive a store credit. I told her that was unacceptable as this was a brand new skirt that I had only worn once and that I wanted a refund. This was a $100 skirt that I'd only owned 11 days. I turned in the form with my receipt, but kept the skirt for proof of destruction. The general manager called me and told me she had to have the skirt back to submit to the claims department with my paperwork, so I returned it. It's been 5 months now, I haven't received my refund, no one will give me the address or phone number of the "claims department". Not only is this a terrible cleaners, they are dishonest as well. read more

Superior Cleaners (Arrow Rd) does our company shirt cleaning. We are a quite pleased with their service. We have tried other cleaners and haven't had the same positive service as we have had there. I can imagine how hard it is to get our shirts clean and they have done well. The young ladies working there have always been friendly and if an issue arises, they have handled it quickly and professionally. read more

This is the worst dry cleaning experience we have ever had. We took in a custom bed spread that first got lost and then came back a different shade from what it was. My cleaners back home said it was because they use Perk to clean it. The spread was custom and cost over $1000 new and all I got back was the original cleaning fee. Two other spreads had to be returned because they did not get clean the first time, I would never ever recommend them to anyone. read more

This place is the WORST! I dropped off my wedding suit and accessories and specifically asked that everything remain together. They proceeded to lose my pocketsquare and refused to compensate me. I took some items for cleaning, was told the clothes would be ready in the morning. I went during business hours on the morning of the day the clothes were to be ready. The location on Arrow road was locked, but the lights were on. I had another appointment so couldn't wait. Returned in an hour and was told the clothes had not arrived yet. I asked when I could expect them and the worker said "I don't know". I asked why the doors were locked earlier and she said, in a rude voice "I had to go to the bathroom. Is that ok?" She finally said I could come back in an hour. I returned for the third time over an hour later to find that the clothes had still not arrived. The service at the Arrow Road location is definitely subpar. My daughter-in-law returned to pick up the clothes and the worker told another customer she had a bad day because a customer had cussed her out, meaning me. The clerk was rude, unhelpful and disparaging of the business clientele in front of other customers. read more

This is the worst dry cleaning I have ever had done. My silk blouses came back hard and crunchy and smelling of solvent. My husbands suits no longer drape nicely but are stiff and wrinkled. Terrible and could end up being very costly to have to replace the items. I have lived in a lot of cities and have never experienced a cleaners this bad. read more

This is not related one star! Yelp made me select it. Awful!! The service was unprofessional and very disappointed at he outcome. I had dropped off men's shirts, pants and a wedding dress to get pressed which seems simple turned out a disaster. My wedding dress came back with marks on it and the train had been over heated which made it hard and started to fray. The men's shirts were yellow looking which came in white. The little boys shirts had brown stains on them which I dropped off white again. Items were missing and not done as scheduled. The owner Dave, had disregarded all my calls and emails. After 14 days he finally replied to an email and with no apology and stating they have no failures in his company. Giving me part of my total order dues back (so he says) and not acknowledging my frustrating or the damage to items it was very unprofessional. I do not recommend his company to anyone. read more
