I asked them sew a similar fabric on the UNDERSIDE to reinforce it and keep it from ripping more. Didn't need to be perfect, I knew the tear itself could not be sewn together but patching and stitching the underside could mitigate the damage. I came to pick it up and BOTH SIDES were covered in a fabric patch that's not even a close match! I was told that there wasn't a way to reinforce it from the underside so they just did both. Even if that were true (it's not), why did no one call me FIRST and tell me the work I requested and paid for wasn't possible? This is a very basic ask of a professional tailor, it's unbelievable they got it so wrong! This patch is so much worse than the original tear. My son just joined the local civil air patrol squadron and needed some patches sewn on his BDUs. Like I do so often, I waited to the last minute and needed it the next day. They informed me that they are a week out on alterations but might be able to get it done sooner. I had my wife bring the jacket and the patches to the store because the event was postponed therefore we had the time to wait. Again she told my wife it would be about a week and two days later we got a phone call saying that it was ready. I feel they went above and beyond to accommodate us and I will definitely be back for more alterations. One thing I noticed is the response to the poor reviews showed an effort to make things right.

This was my first time using them, and sadly I chose to ask them to hem my dress for my daughter's wedding. Dates below might be slightly off as I am trying to recall based on my calendar, but here is my experience: Early July 2026: upon arriving at the store, I noticed how dirty it was and how there were piles of clothes on the floor and stuffed around everywhere. Unfortunately I ignored my "Run!" instinct based on the good Yelp reviews and I dropped off the dress, got measured, told them I'd like the dress slightly shorter than floor length (outdoor wedding and I didn't want it to drag leaves). They said to come pick up Friday, 7/24, giving them a few weeks to do the work. Fine- luckily I'm in no rush. July 24- I return to the store to pick up my dress I am told by the owner "Oops- it's not ready." She offers her cell # and says I can come back "any day next week" to come get it, even if they are closed. Tuesday July 28- I call to tell her I am coming to get the dress today. She tells me it is not ready. We make another date for me to return when only her mom is there and the store is closed. Thursday July 30- I come back and only the mom is there. I try on the dress. Still too long. She re-measures me and tells me to come back next week. Monday 8/3 I return to the store to pick up my dress. I don't try it on in store because I am short on time. Charged me $50. When I get home, I discover a new stain on the from that was not there before I dropped it off, and the dang dress is STILL too long. In addition, there are strings and imperfections all along the hemline. Needless to say, I am now going to go elsewhere to get this mess fixed. Absolutely horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone who cares about promptness, delivery dates, cleanliness, quality or reliability.
