As most stories begin, it was a rainy night when someone, driving far too fast for the conditions, slammed into my mailbox and left it in pieces scattered around the driveway (my neighbor's driveway that is). I called several handyman companies to install a new one for me, but during the time of Covid-19, it's impossible to even get a call back. I called Superior Fix and I was surprised when Brian took my call. He asked for pictures of the job including the base where the old mailbox sat (which I gladly sent), and he agreed to swing by and complete the installation. He came on the day he said he would, but he was able to come earlier than expected since another job finished faster than he thought. I wanted this to be a completely contactless experience (to protect us both), and he was pleased with the arrangement. I left the box the mailbox arrived in with all the materials outside on the driveway. Since I work from home, I was able to monitor his progress. When I noticed he installed the mailbox incorrectly (the letterbox was turned where the mail slot faced the house instead of the street!), I called him on his cellphone, pointed out the error, and he gladly corrected his mistake. He even swept up any debris from around the jobsite, AND he toted away the box and other trash the mailbox came in. I was VERY pleased with his prompt service. The job was a bit pricier than expected, but I did understand that he wasn't sure what problems he'd run into during the installation. He did end up having to drill down into concrete because the holes from the old mailbox base didn't line up with the new one. In any case, I would hire Brian again. Super Fix saved the day! I bought a dishwasher from a big box store. I paid for them to install it. After waiting for 2 months to get the dishwasher to come in. The installers came and said they could not take out my old dishwasher because it was a Bosch. So a week later the new installers came and said they could not take it out because we had put in a new floor a few years ago and the old washer was stuck. A friend suggested I call Superior Fix Handyman and I am so glad I did!! He came out within 10 minutes of calling him! He was not only able to get out the old dishwasher, he installed the new one and replaced my corroding shut off under the sink. I was told by the other people that it was impossible! Well, Brian preformed the "impossible" within hours of calling him, at an affordable and reasonable rate! He saved hours of annoyance for my husband, as he was going to take off work to deal with the problem! Super professional, cleaned up everything and hauled the old washer to the street! What a blessing! If you are looking for quality work. Search no more. Brian is the man. He has done several jobs for me, and I am truly a satisfied customer. He has done an excellent job in installing a new toilet, hanging blind throughout my entire home, mounting TV's, putting up beautiful curtain rods, and currently repairing my bathroom. As a single woman, it has been a challenge for me to find someone who does quality work, upfront with the prices, and who is honest and friendly. I found all that in Brian. Brian was fantastic. We called at night and he answered our call in less than a half hour and he came out the very next morning. He fixed our leaking toilet and it works great.
