Ended up the company put the wrong size springs on and left the door unbalanced which caused the bar they were mounted on to break costing me more money. Do not call this company for repair. As they did with me, they will most likely put "repair" with something they have on their truck rather than the correct piece which will end us costing you even more money to replace with a reputable company. What a joke. You expect a company that specializes in something to be able to do that job correctly. Never again will I call them. Save your time, money and future aggravation and find another company to go with.

I could tell he worked more slowly and deliberately when replacing the spring above the car as opposed to when he replaced the other side. Our family had our Garage Door replaces approximately 5 years ago. Right at the 5 year mark our…read moregarage ceased to work. It began to bend and bow, becoming unusable. Once this happened we contacted Dover and Company and they did not respond to us at all. It was at this point that we started a complaint with the BBB. We then reached back out to the company and they were willing to talk to us at that point. The owner stated that he would be willing to replace the garage door at cost. We indicated that moving forward with that option was not the company taking any responsibility they stated that they would be willing to replace the springs exchanging them with their heavier springs at their expense. We agreed to that and moved forward with getting them replaced. When the technicians from Dover come to our home they did not have the heavier and springs they tried to replace the existing springs with the same weight of springs that we had originally. The technician mentioned it and when we brought up the issue he had to contact his company to get the go ahead to replace the springs. Once that took place, the door was still not able to close. The Technician left at that point. We still did get a bill for this replacement!!! That is a large issue. Not only was it almost impossible to obtain meaningful assistance and a willingness to accept some accountability from Dover and Company but the replacement work was not what we were promised and then we received a bill when it was not warranted nor was the job completed. Dover and Company has proven to be not only dishonest but also does not stand behind their work.

I asked them to come back out after paying them 130.00 for a service call. They said they'd charge me again. Adamant nothing was wrong. They had photos that the eyes were good. I had an electrician out that told me they eyes were gone. A month and a half later, i got them to come out and replace the eyes. They called me difficult, argumentative, etc. New eyes installed, garage door works. Their behavior towards me and the arguing about the garage door not working leads me to never using this company again.

New springs and hinges on one door. New controllers and remotes. The guy was there all day but did a great job. Not the cheapest in town but quick, professional and quality equipment.

The good, you can get them to Come out quickly and they did…read morethe job. The bad, they try and upsell you the minute they walk in the door. I had one spring bad and they replaced both and took my good spring with them which makes me wonder if I didn't get someone's used spring. I thought they were expensive also but I needed it done so I was stuck. I knew it was a spring because we had them replaced before and you could see it but they wouldn't give you an estimate until they got there. I'm not a fan of being at someone's mercy.
