Called these guys off their positive yelp reviews after getting the run around from another contractor. They took my first service call and responded quickly and took care of the problem and worked around my schedule. Since that first call uv had two other properties needing their services and just like the first call no hassles. Show up take care of it and reasonable prices. They don't hit you with extras like some others do they fix the problem and then they do a full tune up and cleaning on the gate at the same time. My other contractor would charge extra to do the tune up. That's dumb. Just make it happen. That's what they do. They just make it happen without taking you to the bank. I had had hard-to-solve intermittent problem with my electric gate. It took 2 visits, but the owner helped problem solve on the second attempt, and diagnosed that the gate had originally been wired improperly, and they only charged me for the initial appointment. I got a quote the same afternoon I inquired, had the gate installed within a week, and Scott and his crew have always gone above and beyond to help out, even reconnecting my garage wires that the dog ripped out when they were just quoting me on the gate. We just bought a home that has an electric gate and we wanted it repaired and serviced. She managed to get us into a slot the next day and called that next morning to give us a time range. These guys are awesome! Their technicians were very knowledgeable and fixed several wiring issues with our gate, which included an exit loop sensor and the install of a manual open toggle switch allowing us to have the gate open at certain times and have it close automatically at others. I also had a slight concern with a billing matter and Cindi worked with her management team and I to get the issue resolved. The staffs, especially Mike and Scott were extremely helpful. Mike came on time the first day when I needed to weld a part of the gate. The second time Mike came with couple of other members to install the keypad entry system. They called when they were expected to be late. Once they came they worked diligently and did more than my expectation. The price was reasonable. Scott took the time to walk me thru the key coding procedure, even after hours. These guys are incredibly awesome- the two times we've needed gate repairs, they have come out the same day to fix it, and they seem to have or be able to get all necessary parts for even the oldest gates. There's nothing worse when your gate goes and you can't get out of your driveway or you need to constantly get in and out of your car. I'm super pleased with their service and how efficient they were able to help me with my gate. So we been wanting to motorize our manual hand hd gate forever, but a lot of companies their ideas and plan made no sense to me and where they were going to install the motor will def ruin the looks of my home. My gate a bit special case because it's locked at my narrow driveway with wooden columns that aren't too secure. So it was a challenge finding the right and secure location to install the motor at my narrow driveway. Scott and Wayne came out and knew right away with their professionalism what's the best location and that won't mess with the landscape of my home. I'm very please with their work. Fast and efficient took only 3-4 hours and done. Because the guys knew what they were doing, it's much easier. Highly recommended. 9/7/18 just a few days ago I called Scott for a follow up thing that I needed help with on my gate. Scott was able to send two of his guys out to help me ASAP and because they are extremely professional and knew exactly what I needed took them about 10 mins and my problem was solved ! I wish I could have given an actual review of their services but I never got that far. Called to schedule an appointment. Scheduled an appointment between 12 and 4pm. Ok great see you then. 2.30pm comes around I call in to see if there was a time frame... ok sir let me call the tech and call you back. No call back. I call back at 330 ish and get the im sorry I couldnt reach the technichian. If he isnt there by 4 call us back. Ok. 430pm I start dialing to cancel the service all together. They call me and let me know the tech had an emergency job to do...ok i get it ...it happens. Is there anyway we can get out to you tomorrow? Ok ill give you a second chance. How about between 8 and noon. Ok that will work. No show.. I call office to see whats up at about 1030ish. No answer. Left message. Called again at noon. Voicemail. Again at 2pm voicemail. I have had a fantastic experience with this company!!! I first contacted them (and several other companies) when I was in the middle of closing on my house and moving into a new house because I wanted an automatic gate installed on my driveway of my new house. Needless to say, my life was a bit crazy at the time. I spoke with Terry and I knew almost immediately that I had found my guy!!!! I can't even express what a pleasure it was knowing that he was taking care of everything for me. What a great guy! I got my beautiful gate installed. The work was done perfectly. They listened to everything I had to say to make sure that I was totally happy and I was getting exactly what I wanted. About a month ago my gate started beeping and I knew that was a battery issue but my husband and I were so busy that we continued to use it without doing anything about it for two weeks (my fault) so when it died I called Scott in a panic because I had somewhere it needed to be. He dropped whatever he was doing, rushed over (was at my house 10 minutes after I called), and showed me that my power went out at some point and all I needed to do was push the button on the outlet, oops! Needless to say, I felt silly calling them in a panic when all I needed to do was push the button on the outlet after my power went out (and considering I had two weeks to figure that out), haha! Point being, that I was incredibly impressed by the customer service before, during, and even after the gate install. I highly recommend this company!!!! read more

Its been 3 weeks and $1056 dollars later working with Superior Gate, and our gate is STILL broken. The first day Wayne showed up, he was here for 30 minutes and charged us an hour worth of his time. I called Kayla at the office to check how long he was on our property and it was only 30 minutes. She was able to change the price at $136. The gate was still not working, so Wayne came out another time and did some more work and charged us $800. We were still having issues. Wayne came back and looked at the gate again and said it was the batteries. He charged us $120 for a new set of batteries. The next day it was STILL not working, so he brought in someone from the maker of our gate. The guy was very thorough and was able to tell us exactly what was wrong. Ultimately, instead of fixing the gate for free since we already paid so much for work that didn't need to be done, Wayne told us it would be another $450 to fix the problem. We will not be doing business with this company again. They seemed like they only wanted our money. I'd rather pay someone to do an honest job. read more

This company surpassed our expectations. They are pleasant, trustworthy and take great pride in their work. It was truly a pleasure working with every, single one of them. They worked in 100+ degree heat on many days without one complaint. The prep work was done properly and the finished gate is just beautiful. Late to job, didn't keep customer apprised of when gate would arrive or even dates and times guys would show up, Every visit to site they were late. Installers tell you one thing so you get the conduit runs there, tell you no problem hooking it up, then back out. Sales guy will promise you things like lock, special track and bolts, then to find out nope, did he really not read the contract. Left Live wires left lying on ground, huge safety concern. Asked and asked and asked for plans, after all said and done contract shows up and somewhat of some plans. Asked them where to put the conduit box and never answer, Be careful, make sure and get it in writing, plans ahead of time, and write down the details. Looks like I will be getting another gate company to finish the job. read more

Unfortunately, Scott and team were not able to install a working gate for us. After three yours of trying we were left with a gate that did not work electrically or mechanically. We have been using Superior for over a year now, and during that time, we have required about 4 service calls on our gate. We live in an area that is a bit far to drive to. We had an issue this morning which was a bit urgent for us. Superior had someone out within a very short time to fix the problem.
