EDIT: Let me say it again.. LOOK ELSEWHERE when looking for a car. After writing my initial review, Superior Honda FINALLY got back to us and told us to bring the car in to get the brakes checked out. We took it in, they told us they fixed the issue. Well the next day, the brakes made the same noise. The dealership then told us we could bring it back in. We wore told we could go to a Jeff Wyler closer to where we live and we did. That Jeff Wyler dealership told us that to them it did not look like any previous work had been done on the car and the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced and we needed to take it back to the original dealership (superior Honda) to get replaced. WE called Superior Honda, Allyson and Drew Porter, a dozen times to talk with someone and kept saying that they weren't available and to leave a message. We left messages and then were told someone would reach out to us by 6pm- no one reached out to us by 6pm. There is no way for an entire day that no one could return our phone call. It is obvious we are being avoided. Not a great experience with Superior Honda and would not return. Our salesman, Adam, was vaping while working with us, which we found incredibly unprofessional. But the worst part of the whole experience is that the day after purchasing our car, the brakes started making noise. We reached out to Adam and he basically said nothing could be done for us and so we asked for the manager's number. We called, Carl, left messages, and never got a response from him. We called to try and speak to a different manager and when we spoke with him he also said they weren't going to do anything for us. They didn't even offer to take a look at the car or anything. So here we are 2 weeks out from buying a new to us car and having to go elsewhere to get our brakes fixed. It's completely ridiculous and basically makes us dislike our car altogether. I do NOT recommend purchasing your car here. Look elsewhere! read more

Hello fellow Yelpers, I wanted to share my total buying experience with Superior Honda after making a trip through the service department for installation of my SUV's accessories. Now I can give yelpers a real review. What to expect when looking for your new Honda from a dealership like Superior Honda where from start to finish is on a mission treating you with respect and truly makes you feel welcome. Just as Superior Honda did with me in getting the deal of all deals on my new 2019 Honda Passport touring model; Crushed the price of the competitor proving, "Cars like eggs are NOT cheaper in the country" leaving yolk in the face of JW. I should know JW colerain dealership ripped me good (have the paperwork for proof) when I bought my 2018 Honda Pilot. That JW experience left me very salty. Learning JW also ripped me on the Honda extended care program by a $1,000 compared to Superior Honda final price. To break free, restoring good Karma I decided to go elsewhere and traded in the Pilot. Thank goodness I went to Superior Honda, met Steve Kaplan and the Superior team who turned it around with an internet deal that worked. Now I'm rocking n' rolling in a new 2019 Honda Passport. Heads up: If you keep your salesperson running back to Jesse the new car manager to fine tune your best deal. You can load up on free fresh Starbucks; I'm talking mocha, lattes and top shelf teas. So when you get your transparent deal you'll be wide awake driving home in your new Honda from the "egg crusher" Superior Honda. Enjoy the drive. read more

I bought my first car from Superior Honda last December (2017.) Before that I'd been leasing a Toyota. My experience with this dealership and with Doug Coomer guarantees that I will be a Honda person for life. From the very start, Doug (and the rest of the team at Superior Honda) was extremely straight-forward and courteous. He didn't push any gimmicks, he was very friendly, and didn't try to rush me into anything. I had a lot of questions regarding owning a car, maintenance, and financing - Doug took his time to answer each question in full. He was thorough and I couldn't have asked for better service. Not only that but they were able to get me my dream car in the very color I wanted. I had been talking to another Honda dealership and they told me that there was no way the type of car I wanted was available in the color I wanted. He even went so far as to say that Doug and his team was lying to me. Well, not only did Superior Honda deliver the car I wanted, in the color I wanted - they also gave me an amazing deal on the price and ridiculously low rates on the Financing (my bank was shocked they couldn't match.) Working with Doug through the whole process was a great experience. It was like I was talking to a family member who had my best interest at heart. Let me tell you that after a terrible experience at the hands of the general manager of kings Honda at the kings auto mall of Cincinnati I decided to try superior Honda of Cincinnati and I have never felt so welcome and comfortable buying a vehicle all their sales associate were more than friendly and even the sales person that attended to Devyn I cannot even begin to tell u how very calm organized and patient she was with me..i don't know what kind of training they go through with handling customers but I advice dealers to adopt it.. the experience is phenomenal even up to the finance department explaining and planning how to make my payments and what to do so I can get better interest rates and stuff like that..at the end it's just safe to say all my cars for me and my future children are coming from that dealership and I advice anybody looking to go there I assure you if u had no intention of buying from them the way they treat u will make u reconsider.. And let's not also forget their service department..there is nobody too big to handle your problem, the manager Matt will handle your problem personally if he has too..IM TELLING YOU, you can't go wrong with superior Honda when it comes to cars and any kind of service.. do yourself a favor and go to where you will be treated and respected despite ur race or color. This is our third Honda from Superior Honda and we will NEVER go anywhere else! Our fabulous salesperson Elizabeth Forte has gone above and beyond for us these last several years even while she was out of state on vacation and sick with the flu. I was a little leary of shopping at a dealership the first time. I was worried about pushy salespeople and being talked down to because I'm female. This had happened at several places where we were shopping for MY car but they only wanted to speak to my husband. :( I was pleasantly surprised to meet Liz, who "gets it" being a female herself. Both my husband and I totally mesh with her and she was never the slightest bit pushy. I will continue to recommend her to my friends and family, my sister is now her customer as well. I have had a few encounters with the service team (recall, oil change, battery, nothing major) in the last 6 years, all of which were handled quickly and efficiently. Every member of the staff from the mechanics to the awesome finance manager, Donny Petro, were friendly and welcoming. I can't finish this review without talking about my beautiful new car. I got a red Honda Civic this time, and she's absolutely beautiful. Sporty, shiny, with plenty of room, and handles like a dream. Stop reading reviews and set up an appointment with Liz. My husband and I recently bought a used 2016 Honda Odyssey from a dealership in Columbus. When we purchased the vehicle we noticed a small issue with one of the sliding door sensors. At the time of purchase, we were told it was not a big deal and the issue went away for a few weeks. Eventually the issue resurfaced and we thought it would be an simple fix by replacing the faulty sensor. We took our Odyssey in to Superior Honda where we worked with Erica, a service consultant.  The technicians took a look and determined that it was more than just a simple senor replacement but a larger issue with the electrical wiring where the entire interior, seats and all needed to be pulled out in order to find the issue. The cost of this was much much more than we had anticipated going in but Erica and the assistant manager James were amazing and worked with us to ensure that cost would not be an issue. Since this is our first Honda vehicle as a family, the type of high quality customer service we received from Superior Honda really left a lasting impression. Thank you Erica and James! read more

Have not purchase a new car since 1977. Out the door cost back then was $ 5,500.00.. Now 2019, have things changed, sticker shock to say the least. Stopped by one dealer on colerain avenue, boy what a shit show. I could not even get out of my car and they were on top of me and all i wanted was a brochure... Told wife that this is a task i should start alone as that experience was embarrassing and did not want her to have to experience that. Once day i was going to be on Spring Grove avenue for a pick up and decided to stop by superior to see what happens there, what a difference. Pleasant, respectful and courteous professionals. Was introduced to a saleslady who i found helpful pleasant and knowledgeable and great to work with. No rushing or pushy just helpful. She spent all the time i needed to adjust to sticker shock and select vehicle and options. Did not know how many different styles and options on each type of CRV. This dealership is so wonderful to work with. Traded in my 2020 Honda Pilot for a new 2022 Honda Pilot. Just like the first time I went through this dealership, the second time was just as wonderful. From the young lady who greets you coming through the door, to the sales staff, to the parts department, to the service department, the cashier, to the final signing of all the documents and getting you out the door and into the new car was fantastic. To my salesman Steve who actually takes the time to listen to what you want, really wasn't much price haggling, two prices and we were all agreed on the deal and within a half hour after that out the door. He's been there for for years and you can understand why. I had an exceptional experience at Superior Honda, with William Cummings Jr.. I was interested in leasing a Passport but was unsure which model or color I wanted. Will helped me out tremendously! He was patient and kind. He didn't push me or make me feel rushed. He even came in on his off day when I finally decided to make the move. He took time to help me hook up my phone, and get my seats and mirrors set up. He also showed me all of the super neat features on my new Passport! He even walked me over to the service department to show me where to bring my vehicle when it was time for maintenance. Tim Clark, the finance manager, got me in and out in a timely manner. He explained every piece of paper to me so I knew exactly what I was signing. He told me about the leasing process, and explained all of the products to me. He was kind and extremely helpful! My car was immaculate and Will went above and beyond. If you are in the market for a new car I highly recommend visiting Superior Honda, and ask for Will, you wont be disappointed. read more

We bought our first new car at Superior Honda. Previously, we purchased certified used cars. However, CR Vs seem to hold their value and we were able to get a very good deal on a new CR V with our triple AAA membership/discount. The new CR V is beautiful (inside and out). The drive is smooth. Jelisa in sales was very helpful and sweet throughout the process of buying the new vehicle. Arranging car insurance on the day of the CR V purchase was the only process that seemed to take a bit long. My car insurance agent was not in the office on a Saturday afternoon, so I was transferred to the 24 hour call center and had to be on hold with the car insurance company for a while. That process had nothing to do with Superior Honda. We did look at a CR V at a different dealership prior to visiting Superior. The other dealership was way too busy. Superior offers better customer service and better prices (and they will match lower prices found at other dealerships). read more

I love this Honda dealership! I knew I wanted to get the new Accord (2015 model) because it had everything I needed. I went to the dealership and Jami immediately asked if I needed any help so I told him what I was looking for and they had it in the showroom! I test drove a different one that was out on the lot and it was really sleek and the pick up is great. It also is nice b/c the drivers seat goes up so I can actually see over the dashboard, I am only 5' even so it is always a little more difficult for me to buy a car b/c some drivers seats don't go high enough or the dashboard is too high, it can be a process. I loved the car and actually bought it that same day! I wasn't there very long at all. The process was fast and easy. Even the manager Tony L. personally came out to make it faster and smoother. He really was a great guy as was Jami. I really hope everyone else can the same amazing experience as I did, I will be buying my next car from them for sure. read more

I have been a Superior Honda customer for over 10 years. I have found the staff to be very attentive, but not overwhelming. It's far from what a lot of us experienced in years past where you barely get in the door of an establishment and you are bombarded. Anytime I have gone into Superior Honda I feel the freedom to browse around and generally am approached politely asking if I needed assistance. During the process of looking at a vehicle, taking it for a test drive and then making your decision, that experience has always been seamless. All my questions are answered, all features of the vehicle are thoroughly explained. You are encouraged to make contact with any questions or concerns. When arranging a service appointment, whether it be a routine maintenance or something more specific I have never had a negative experience. It may seem to corny, but everyone is really just nice people. Good customer care and service keeps me a loyal customer. read more

My sales person George Crawford made my first car buying experience phenomenal. I went in knowing pretty much which car I wanted to ride home in already, but he still took the time to get to know me on a personal level and really connect with me. He made me feel like he had my best interests at heart and he didn't try to push me into an upgraded model or more expensive car. He also took the time to show me how to work all of the features that new cars come with, which was especially helpful as the car I was driving is 12 years old. All in all it was a great day and George made sure that I would love my new Civic, and I do! My Mom brought me down to Superior because she has always bought from them and they have always treated her well, and even though there are Honda dealerships closer to where I live, I will continue to travel down to Superior Honda myself for future needs. read more

Great service team all members are Great to work with and extremely nice even at 7:00AM . Rob is AWSOME to work with always honest and making it the best service that he can can for the customer. At this Honda you can see the you can see how the management team is doing by they way their employees treat customers. All Honda dealerships should use this one as an example on how to do proper training for every Honda dealership nation wide. It's not just luck on why and how the team is the way it is it's about how management treats the members and here it seems to be working great. The absolute best experience I have ever had in shopping for a vehicle. I went there because my lease for my CRV was coming up next week and I was shopping for a new SUV. I had been looking at other dealerships for other types of SUV's, and came to superior Honda on a referral from someone. Steve Kaplan was waiting for me with a big smile on his face when I walked in. After trying to make it work but being unsuccessful in putting together a deal for an SUV because of my budget, Steve offered to show me some new cars instead. After looking and thinking a lot, he put me in a brand new accord sport and I fell in love! My wife and I were in Cincinnati for a relatives wedding and the condenser in our Honda Crosstour bit the dust. It was the hottest spell of the year and we could not be without air. The Bell Captain at the Cincinnatian Hotel suggested having Superior check out the car. Our service advisor, Megan Kidwell, was instrumental in getting our car repaired for the weekend along with Matt the service manager who tried everything to make sure the condenser wasn't salvageable (which made me feel good). Matt procured the part for the car and Megan used her powers of persuasion (bless you Megan) to talk a tech into installing the part on a Memorial Day weekend.
