I was treated so wonderfully by the service tech. They changed my oil, filter and did the complimentary 29 point inspection. Went to pay and was told everything was complimentary of Joseph. It took less than 45 minutes total. I've NEVER had bad service at Joseph. So all I can say is those who say Joseph stinks are FOS (full of shit). Cashiers were wonderful and the man who checks with people waiting for their cars deserves a raise. PERSONAL service from him is beyond excellent! read more

They will confirm your trade-in amount and then the loan will be for a completely different (thousands less!) amount. The rate they made me take was NOT the lowest offered. Also, Jonathan my rep, told me of 2 cars I had wanted to see were NOT certified and not being accepted or good enough to sell. Well why were they on the website as certified? Hi Alyssa, Please tell me how you'd like to contact you? What's an acceptable amount of attempts to contact management within your dealership before one should grow tired of trying? I've tried to get a hold of management multiple times now. If you look around the dealership I'm sure you'll find a post it note with my name and number on it that someone is choosing to ignore. So not entirely sure how you can review anything when I can barely get my calls answered or get a call back. I bought my truck back in July of last year and have called over a dozen times and even stopped in a couple times to address issues. Your team promises a callback and I don't ever receive one is about how it goes every time. Your service department is horrendous. I 1000% stand by my initial statement about the sales team and service department. Your 1.4 rating and all the negative comments on here should be pretty evident that things don't run efficiently at your dealership and warrant some type of correction. I have resorted to luckily using my warranty that I purchased from Joesph, at another dealership that has fixed what was suppose to be taken care of at your dealership. That doesn't negate the $1400 overpayment of services I had to pay for to keep my warranty from being voided during what was suppose to be a basic oil change visit and minor assessment on my steering wheel controls and usb charge ports. When these services were suppose to be done at the time of purchase, before delivery of the vehicle and I was assured they were. I went in today on New Year eve, I was in desperate need of a vehicle and was really surprised how helpful and caring the staff was. I was shown cars that would work on my price range and than went on a test drive on the one I really liked. I received a really great price on the vehicle, and was able to take it home that day. I should've known better since I had problems before with them. So my shocks and struts need replaced on my Chevy Colorado Z71 Off Road, it's a 2016, so thinking it's only shocks I took it Joseph Chevrolet on Colerain Ave, and the service manager looked at and I was correct but they wanted to check it to make sure. OK no problem, they checked it out and yes I needed new shocks, they call me the afternoon of the next day saying my trucks done, I'm extatic getting my truck, fast forward 4 months later to now and my trucks bouncing or kinda floating so I go to tire discounters and after they retorque my lug nuts I mention my shocks to him, he, the service manager looks at them, he says these aren't new shocks they've just been cleaned, he shows me how they know and I'm pissed, these are the same old shocks just with oil added in them. I pull out my receipt for the work and the $1400 tab on it and he says they pulled a fast one you. I'm told at Joseph Chevrolet, that leaking oil and rust isn't proof, there are no marks were the shocks are mounted still dirty with old grease and grime as they were never removed. The coating on the shocks is years worn they say that stuff wears off quick. Done with this dealership DO NOT GO THERE THEY'RE A RIP OFF. read more

They do not care about you. Brent (service manager) and Stuart (sales manager) could be the two worst people in customer service. They don't try to solve issues and they blame vendors for their problem. They literally told me that the Tonneau cover I had installed "comes that way". Damaged. All of them. Paid $1700, which was more than quoted. Then they installed damaged cover and acted like it fine. In the end they would't fix it properly by replacing it. I went here for an oil change and recall service. I was greeted immediately by a service advisor however when I went into the service office over half the staff was not wearing a mask correctly or at all. This made me uncomfortable since it was a small enclosed area. I went to the waiting room and didn't want to spend time in there due to too many people and a woman not wearing her mask over her nose and mouth. I decided to walk around outside for fresh air and noticed majority of the staff here were not wearing masks. My daughter bought a brand new 2024 top of the line trax at this dealership almost three months ago. She made a large down payment and financed the balance. She has made two payments ( almost three now) and in all that time she has been able to use the car for about two weeks! All the other weeks it's been in the service department! First the windows do not work, then she has no dashboard display( no speedometer, tachometer, fuel gage) then headlights went out, it's a total piece of garbage! She tries to get them to take it back and offers to buy a more expensive car from them( all trax have problems and recalls now) and guess how accommodating they were? They offered to steal $7000.00 from her! Offered her 20,000 for a car she just paid over 27.000 for! A car she can't even safely drive and has not even had again for the last 4 weeks, and is still sitting in their repair lot! I explained that I know it's not the dealerships fault and that they should handle this themselves with GM, and their response was that it is too much trouble and they don't want to go through that. So they would just rather screw the customer out of $7000.00 instead of going after their supplier who produces the garbage cars! So they basically have a license to steal from the public because it's " too much of a hassle" to do the right thing. I have a 2020 Chevy traverse. I purchased it brand new. It's a redline edition. Drove it off the showroom floor with 0 miles. In 2022 and now 2023. I've had more problems with this vehicle's exhaust system. Now the catalytic converter needs to be replaced and they're trying to tell me that it's possible it won't be covered under the law That provides me with a warranty, this is bullshit. The warranty manager tried to act like it was my fault because the vehicle was not maintenance and I pulled out all of my receipts. Horrible service very disturbing how they take advantage of people. Friday 1/6/23 I dropped off my 2019 Chevy Cruz to be serviced. My primary concern was the car continued to stalling out and was having trouble starting. Later that evening I received a call from Advisor Nicholas Zaferes stating that I needed a new DC Power Converter and this is why the car was stalling out. I was quoted $541.51 (a full diagnosis was included). On 1/10/23 I got my car. On 1/11 I was back at the dealership due to the car stalling out on me again and having trouble starting. I needed answers as to what was done to may car and why isn't the car operating as normal. I spoke to Brent Booker(director of fixed operations) and he advised that the tech Mark J Helmes did not service the vehicle for issues related to stalling or issues with starting he noticed the check engine light was on and fixed that problem instead. My time and money was being wasted their was no solution or empathy from anyone. Brent told me they would look at the car and fix the issues that remained. I was told if wasn't something my warranty( powertrain, emission) covered then I would have to pay out of pocket. I left with a rental and let them work on the car. I got a call from Nicholas stating the car needed a new battery. I returned 1/19/23 again being told I had to pay out of pocket for a new battery. Brent took accountability and accommodated me by taking care of the bill due to the issue not being taken care of the first time. He reassured me the issue was resolved and I wouldn't have to return. A few days later the issue occurred again and started progress. The car was stalling more frequently and would take several tries to start. On 2/15 I took the car to McCluskey Chevrolet to get serviced for the same issue as this was my last resort. I had to pay for a rental in addition to getting the car serviced for an issue that should've been resolved. Bj at McCluskey informed me that the car needed a new starter and the DC Power Converter that was installed by Joseph Cheverolet had build up of grease/debris into the the connector T19 causing the issue with the car making a rusting sound when starting it. I was quoted $897.12(starter and clean the debris, rental) . On 2/15 I paid it in full. I returned to Joseph Chevrolet to talk to Brent to be reimbursed for the cleaning of the new part they installed ($138.20). Brent stated he is unable to reimburse me and I should have brought the car back to them for a third time. I'm horrified this experience has been a nightmare. I will never buy a car from this dealership again or receive any service. I do not recommend take you money somewhere it is valued they could care less. I bought this car from this dealership in 2019 NEW with ZERO MILES. When I dropped the car off it only had 26,000 miles. So in this short time span I needed A new DC pose converter, A new battery, and a New starter. Cost me over $1500 that more than likely was unnecessary . I'm glad it's over. Never again. read more

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use their body shop. They are dishonest and they do terrible work. They "repaired" our van's door the first time. We brought it home to a filthy car (black dust over the entire interior), and the window was catching and clicking when it went up. Apparently, they don't test things they repair?! So we had to take it back in. We got it back and the window was working fine. Then we are driving the other day when my youngest realized that the color surrounding the buttons on the new sliding door is brown and doesn't match the black on the other side!! And the entire panel was all scratched up. They installed a USED panel into our car. And apparently didn't care or bother to notice that the other panels have black trim. So now we had to take the car back in today. The lady the other day told us that we would get our $250 deductible back. The manager my husband just spoke to said that that is against state law to give the deductible back. My problem is that they collected $2500 from our insurance company and $250 from us. They did terrible work the first time. They dishonestly installed a used door panel. We have three kids and need the van. This is the third time they've had it. That is a lot of time and headaches caused by them!!!!!! They are terrible. Avoid this location at all costs. I've had two negative experiences at this location, but this last visit had prompted me to write this review. The first time I went here was for an oil change. I scheduled an appointment for Friday at 11 am. I arrived early for the appointment. I expected to wait an hour or so, but ended up waiting almost 4 hours for the oil change. Several people came in after my scheduled appointment time and left before me. I'm not one to typically complain, but I did mention a couple times that I had been there for a while. They ended up not charging me the $40 for the oil change for the long wait. They gave me no reason for why I waited so long. My second experience is absolutely unbelievable. I will never go to this location again and have told many people to avoid this location. I had my car towed after service hours to this location due to a coolant leak. I recently had my radiator completely replaced at a Chevrolet in KY in July. I assumed the repair would be related to that issue and wanted to take it to Chevrolet for repair. Since I left the car after hours on Wednesday, I called on Thursday morning as soon as they opened to make sure they got my key and ask when they could see my car. The employee that I spoke with was extremely rude on the phone and told me they couldn't look at my car for two weeks. My car is under an extended warranty purchased through the dealership I bought the car from and includes a rental. I asked if they could just diagnose my repair so I could get a rental. He assumed and even stated on the phone that my warranty was purchased online and that he had no information provided (I had left the information with my key). He said that I wouldn't qualify for a rental because Joseph does not give out rentals if they're not working on the car. He then said that he wouldn't even think about my car for two weeks with really rude language. And finally, he stated that if I wanted it fixed, then I should have taken it to the Chevrolet service that repaired the radiator because they would have to fix it. Once I got off the phone and was extremely upset at being cursed at, I called the other Chevrolet dealership that had fixed my repair in July and explained the situation. The guy I spoke with there said that it was absolutely absurd that it would take Joseph two weeks to diagnose my car. He stated that at most dealership service departments are behind 3-4 days. He also said that my car can be repaired at ANY Chevrolet as the part is under manufacturer warranty if that is the problem. He also suggested that I could drive it to their location (about an hour away), but if it is the radiator that it would be better to keep at Joseph. After a minor freak out, I asked a friend that knows cars to look at the vehicle as it may have just been a hose that was loose. We drive to Joseph Chevrolet at lunch on Thursday and he diagnosed that it was my thermostat and housing that needed repaired. We walk in to talk to service and see what a realistic time frame would be for the repair. We were talking with a different service specialist than the one I had spoken with that morning, when the person that I had I spoken with on the phone rudely interrupts us and says: "I told you on the phone that I can't even think about your car for two weeks!". I honestly didn't know what to say. My friend asked if they could fill up my coolant so we could take my car elsewhere. The service guy that we were talking to assisted us, apologized for that other guy's behavior, and we drove off the lot. VERY DISHONEST PLACE!!!! Purchased a car with Jeff Paul who called and told me that the car had unknown engine issues coming out of service. He asked me to let him find me another car, but wanted to charge me an extra $1,000 for an issue that i wasn't at fault for. i requested my money back instead of going to pick up the vehicle only for the manager to call back while i was in route and say it was a mix up and my car was ready because i wanted my money back trying to get me to leave with the janky car. I left with my refund (almost 10 grand) after they tried to give me the run around saying i couldn't get it until tomorrow which would've put me out of my 3 day refund window and i would've been stuck. Keith Blanton - the finance Guy pushed my auto loan through anyway as if i had the car and still took the check from the finance company Now i'm stuck fighting to get it taken off and cancelled. The service manager was rude and disrespectful & offered absolutely no help. After this I called up there and the higher up was equally as rude and disrespectful. I could write paragraphs on how awful my experience was at this place, but I'll keep it simple. I had an appointment scheduled at 8 am for an oil change and tire rotation. Around 10:30, a person came to tell me they needed to patch up my tires due to nails. I ended up being there until noon with no apology for taking up half of my day and no explanation for why it was taking so long. After 4 hours, they messed up my receipt and tried to get me to pay $130. I pointed out the issue and it took another 15 minutes to fix. I will NEVER return here when I can get my oil changed for much cheaper and have it take 20 minutes. read more

Brought my Silverado in for a repair on a Friday, as of Tuesday they informed me that they wouldn't even look at it until Thursday. No loaner car program at all. Service Rep Darnell, never informed me that they would take nearly a week to even look at the issue. Phone calls to the service desk would ring without answering for so long, that the phone call would just end. Called the main number to be transferred back to the service department, was in hold for 28 minutes before someone finally answered. I would avoid this place at any cost. Joseph Chevrolet Service Debacle About July 3rd I visited the Joseph Chevrolet Service Department and spoke to a service advisor about making an appointment to have some work done on my vehicle. I knew I would have difficulty getting the problem diagnosed and corrected because it was intermittent, but I didn't realize that I was going to get a two week demonstration of incompetence. I brought the car back at the appointed time on July 9th expecting that a service technician would soon be trying to solve my problem. Six days later, after hearing nothing from anyone at the service department I visited again and learned that the appointment I had made was not when work would begin on my vehicle, but it was when a service advisor would enter the repair order it the system. So, for six days my car has been parked on the dealer's lot collecting dust. The service advisor I spoke with (somehow without benefit of an appointment) promised that someone would look at my car soon. (Little did I know that soon meant sometime after eight days.) Eight days later (July 23rd) after being without my car for 14 days, I still had heard nothing about the diagnosis of my problem or what was happening to my car, so I called. This time I spoke to a different service advisor who told me that they expected to know something in another couple of days. I told him I didn't have a couple more days to screw around with their so-called service department, and I asked to be picked up so I could get my car back. When I picked up my car I discovered that nothing had been done to it, no one looked at it, or made any attempt to diagnose or repair anything. You can be sure that I'll never set foot in that dealership again, although I have been getting my car serviced there since I bought it there in 2008. read more

I was using the USAA car buying service to shop for a 2019 Travers. USAA is a credit union for active and veteran military and their families. The car buying service is a service offered to members to ensure a fair and hassle-free transaction through their network of certified dealers. I was ready to buy and had financing in hand, but Joseph Chevrolet refused to honor the price I was quoted through the service they participate in. When I complained to USAA, they contacted TrueCar (the service USAA leverages for its members) who followed up, and Joseph Chevrolet lied and told them I was trying to use an old, outdated certificate. I have an email with the offer, with the USAA logo, in my inbox from just 5 days ago. This bait and switch business practice is unethical for all customers. Bait and switch for our military families is especially eggregious. I am still working with TrueCar and USAA to ensure this business is not allowed to do this to other USAA members. I recommend all customers beware of this dealership. read more

Horrible experience. I leased here nearly 3 years ago, and felt an obligation to bring my business back for my next new lease or purchase. That was a mistake. I called 3 weeks prior to get basic information on my lease ending and what incentives might be available. I was immediately sucked in by the promise of my "Qualifying lease pull-ahead + $2,000 CASH lease loyalty towards my next lease or purchase!". I also have a GMS family discount on top of it. Great call right? So, just to confirm, I called 2 more times before coming to the dealership (and spoke with 2 different salesman). Same offers were promised, in ADDITION to another " Conquest Bonus" that was presented to me on top of it all, because my Fiance' has a JEEP. "You just need to bring a copy of his registration and you get the deal- that's it!", they promised me. Yeah. When we got there last Saturday, it was a comfortable process. Test drove what I wanted. Knew I wanted to buy or lease that day. When it came to numbers, where my current payment is, and where I intended to stay monthly, I was told it was an impossibility. Bottom line. I was also told that the THREE men I spoke with prior about the deals and options available to me, were "misinformed" about what they told me. I was also told that the "GMS discount and pull-ahead options would only cover the cost of Tax, title, and insurance". Now, at this stage in the game, my credit hadn't been run, my father's discount wasn't applied, I hadn't been asked how much money I'd be putting down, and I had no explanation as to why the $2,000 cash was all a lie. We talked in circles, and the salesman scribbled on scratch-pad and plugged numbers into his i-phone calculator several times, before leaving every 10 minutes to "go check on something". We were no closer to a deal or an understanding. My father called the dealer in Michigan he's been using for over 30 years- knowing we'd get the hard truth and facts. Tom, in MI stated that there isn't a pull-ahead deal available to ANYONE in the US at the moment. That was it for us at that point.... So, as we're getting out of our seats ready to walk, a manager appears with 'great news'. He can magically get us EXACTLY the deal I want, with the car I want to purchase. What?! I was told it was impossible. I was told that "You simply can't change math?!" by our salesman. I was told all of this without solid numbers, on paper, with all the (fake) bonuses and (made up) discounts and my fathers (actual) GMS discount applied. The whole experience was uncomfortable, entirely frustrating, mildly insulting, and all around disheartening. I will be driving back to MI while visiting my family this weekend, and getting a new car from Tom Peters; the honest salesman. read more

Was made to feel very uncomfortable after we wanted to leave due to the car salesman wanting us to sign saying we would buy the truck without knowing the cost breakdown... only the monthly payment. We made it clear we would not sign anything without knowing the total cost, we weren't even told how long we would be paying the monthly payment for! I'd give zero stars if it was available - spoke to Jordan today with no resolve to my issue. The concern I have as a woman I've always trusted Joseph Chevrolet for #1 choice all under hood repairs no matter what for more than 15 years. Recently I was advised I needed a $2800 Fuel pump to get my car back on the road. Had my car towed for a 2nd opinion and that was not the issue at all. I'm not happy and matter fact feel very mislead broken trust and loyalty to do any business here again. No regards To my inconvenience All I want is my $130 for a diagnostic that was inaccurate. was told Reece only works Mon -Fri 9-5 another lie. I call in on Saturday and he's there in a meeting. Really hope he returns my call today to resolve this. After calling several times to create and double-check my appointment, and driving all the way to the dealership, they told me that they could not accept my car since it was 10 years old and had over 100,000 miles. They refused me service because of the age and wear on my car, which is not even exceptional or out of the ordinary. I have never heard of this happening to anyone anywhere. The only thing malfunctioning with my car was the speed sensor, yet they still refused to service my vehicle and turned me away. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Never again will I go to Joseph Service Department. We bought a used van still under warranty from a private source. Joseph is the only close dealership so we went there for warranty work. Twice they repaired the side door lock, both times within a couple of hours. We took it in again for the same problem right after the warranty expired. Lo and behold, they charged $95 just to determine the problem. And they quoted me near $500 and one day to repair it. All of which convinces me that either they did a cheapo fix under warranty or they jacked up the price when I was off. I just had to take the van in for a dealership-only replacement of an airbag impact sensor, This time $110 to analyze. $500 to repair. They say they'll have it done in a couple of hours. That smells fishy to me, too. My usual garage told me the cost shouldn't be over $200. If my regular garage ever tells me I have another dealership-only repair needed, you can bet I won't be going to Joseph. read more

I made an online appointment for oil change , tire rotation and new windshield wipers. When I brought car in they said they had no windshield wipers in stock, even though I specifically requested 6 days before in my online appointment. Then it was over 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This was my first time using their service, and will be my last. I would not recommend for anything. read more
