Where do I start? August 2023 Purchased a $30,000+ 2017 Chevy Suburban Premier. sold me on Extended warranty because "these things are known for lifter issues." -Headlight was out when I came to pick it up, they told me that it was a ballast that was needed -Spent few weeks trying to get it back, visited a few times to get it fixed. Never fixed it and I spent my money on fixing it to avoid a ticket. September 2023 I lost power and vehicle wouldn't accelerate above 30 MPH and I took it back to Landen, they replaced the torque converter. September 2023 riding rough not a smooth ride, rear end issues was showing and power issues again. October 2023 I was out of town for most of the month November 5, 2023 no power to run and loud engine noise November 6 2023 took to Joseph Chevrolet and was denied because they do not accept the warranty company -had it towed again to the warranty companies recommended location -after 8 days was told that major engine issues $4300 of repairs needed -Warranty company denied claim labelled as "pre-existing" issues. Landen called them and somehow got them to agree to fix repairs November 19-20th repair company came back and stated that after they removed the engine head, more damage was discovered. November 22ish new price is $6500+ Final cost. After warranty company part was paid, balance of $300+ Landen decided to pay $200 and I paid the balance. Got my car back 2nd week of December. In that time i paid 600 in rental car expenses. Not to mention in early November the portly fellow named Mike i believe called me and cursed at me for leaving a review because he was upset that the review was there. He stated "I don't give a &*%$ about you or your car and you're a piece of *&%$." I hung up not to react or make any comments because I know me. I personally would never go back to them; I believe they did things dishonestly to get this truck running to sell. Knowing that there are no lemon laws with used cars, they got over on me. These cars look good but mines needed 6500 worth of engine work not long after i drove it off the lot. read more

After a long day of car searching that led us from the valley of Dayton to the sprawling titan Columbus, it was needless to say we were tired. I was about two weeks back from the Far East, living as a teacher in Japan, coming back to Old Glory without anything more than the money I earned and family waiting back home. When we arrived at Landen Motors, I was out of options to find a decent car for an honest price. Tired of trying to barter at big dealerships with ulterior motives to make money off me when I had none to begin with. Exhausted of dealing with small dealerships with promises to clean the car out and detail it after I laid money on the table. We pulled into the driveway of Landen Motors and found the staff cleaning out cars and wiping down windows. Taking a look around the lot, all the cars were treated with the same dignity. We were greeted with respect and a clean office, something one would be accustom to at the big dealerships. It's small, and comes off as something we've all seem before. But there's something else here that makes it stand out, the clean walls, carefully decorated tables, and the tidiness of someone who has their heart in their small business. We immediately found the car we were interested in, and to greater surprise, the interior had been extensively manicured. Clean dashboard, overhead, and carpets with little more than the average wear N' tear one might expect of a car eight years of age. And aside from an honest drop of bird dropping on the windshield, you might say the car was pristine. We drove the car, and it drove well. No clanks, no wobbles, no screeches, no wails. So, after a more focused inspection, we came back to do business. The part we all dread, fear, and approach with tenseness, and I had good reason to fear it. Coming back home, I didn't have much, but I knew I needed a dependable car to get me to a new job across town, and a used car was my ONLY option. And that can be scary. Rana at Landen Motors changed that. She proved not only to be understanding of our situation, but also came as an educator of an industry built on squeezing money from people. She knew her cars intimately, has them each driven, and replaces all parts on them so that they're running as if they just came off the assembly line. It is no exaggeration. This is what all small dealers SHOULD do. She took a look at our options, and we found a deal that worked for both parties. Rana has been working in the field for decades. I had recently got into a car situation that I was not to pleased with. So I decided to go to one dealership in KY after that didn't work I decided to drive out to Landen Motors. I walked in Mike was sitting at his desk and instantly greeted me, I asked for Rana which I was recommended to and she comes out to great me (I instantly felt warm and welcomed). I tell her my situation and she immediately starts making phone calls. Thanks to Rana (who is awesome no really she is a life saver) Mike, Andy and even the car detailer I don't remember his name either (sorry buddy) but they were all so nice and sweet. Wow what can I say! Over the years I've purchase many used cars and dealing with Rana at Landen Motors was the most convenient purchase experiences I have ever had. Rana's only concern was me and my families complete satisfaction. She offeres extremely flexible hours to do business and realizes that in today's society it may be hard to do business during normal business hours. We completed this deal at 10pm at night and she never once made us feel rushed, everything was explained clearly and With many options to purchase. The entire transaction was transparent as it gets. My kids started getting a little restless and impatient so she had someone run down the road and get them a snack.
