Would give zero stars if I could. Bought a 2020 Civic from this place, during the accessories install from the purchase they broke an interior panel. Took them more than a month to get the replacement part. Took the car in for them to replace the panel they broke, which not only took all day, but now there is over a 2 inch gap from a piss poor install job, AND the door jamb of my brand new car was scratched to hell and back in the process. Do not go to this dealer for anything, they literally did more damage than good to my car. When I told them about the scratches I was treated like I was making it up, and they were there prior (mind you this is a 2020 car, with 3k miles on it, and I have only had it long enough to to wash it a few times. Being new to the area, I took my son's car to the the dealership for an alternator replacement because I thought I could trust Honda. Superior ran a diagnostics test on the vehicle and confirmed the alternator was bad. They quoted $1,435 before tax to replace an alternator. I spoke with the gentleman there who stated the OEM part was over $700 + 30% mark-up for stocking an alternator and 3.5 labor hours. I told him I would come get the car and replace the unit myself. He told me the diagnostic fee was $159, to tell me what I already knew about the car. Upon arriving at the dealership we were treated coldly and presented with a bill for $199. When I asked about the difference, I was informed that the diagnostic fee didn't include a shop visit fee or taxes. One thing for sure is that I will NEVER go to Superior Honda for any reason (sales or service). I can understand why they have so many poor reviews. Their prices are outrageous and their customer service needs improvement. read more

I give them 2 stars just because I will not blame their front line associates for their unscrupulous business transactions that I'm sure they have been instructed to carry out. If you want to buy a car here you will pay way over MSRP. They are charging $6,000+ "market adjustment" on their cars because of the "demand" and short supply. This is NOT a Honda thing, this is an attempt to take advantage of people. They add options onto the vehicle (Honda requires them to add 2) but they severely up charge for these options, more then any other Honda dealer (non Jeff Wyler) in a 50+ mile radius. So you end up paying over $11,000 MSRP for a car. Also if you do try to deal with them they will not remove or reduce their "market adjustment" and they will then try to convince you that them giving you some of their up-charged add ons for free and you only paying $9,000 over MSRP is a deal. Those up charged add ons are already half the price or less at other dealerships. I also had an online quote from them for what my trade was valued at. They would not honor the amount after I was there even though my trade was practically new and in excellent condition with very low miles. I understand they are a business and they need to stay afloat but soon you won't have a boat to stay afloat in. Make sure you do your homework. There are dealerships that are not price gouging people. My salesman was very nice. I feel sorry for him that because of their business practices he didn't get the sale. I wasn't necessarily in a complete need for a new car, I was just getting sick of my old one, even though it ran fine, figured I would stop in and at least have a conversation with somebody. Was greeted by the receptionist upon arrival and was transferred to Avery Simpson to find a car for me. Admittedly, I did know basically what I was looking for, but he was super helpful with financials, selecting everything that I wanted, etc. I had to go out of town for a month for the National Guard, and told him that I would finalize everything once I got back, since I couldn't do it on my original visit. He completely understood and I appreciated that he honored that and didn't blow up my phone while I was away, in fact, I text him a couple days after I got back so we could get the ball rolling, he had me in a couple days later, and when I came with my mother, he could not have been more nice and more respectful towards her. Even though we had to deal with incompetent people over the phone with insurance, he stayed positive and really helped make the process as simple as he could while still remaining personable to both my mom and myself, with our 2 very different personalities. I would recommend Honda's in general to anybody, but the service I received from Superior Honda was just that, superior. And if you're reading this and thinking of going there to purchase a new car for yourself, I would certainly ask for Avery upon arrival, as he was kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole process 100x easier. read more

I've been doing a little car shopping lately and took a test drive of a Civic the other day from Superior Honda. I thought that the service here was honest, congenial, and did not pressure me in any way. Upon entering the store, Marc, almost immediately asked me if I needed help. He sat down with me and started forming a list of the things I wanted in a car. I really liked his approach. We talked about both the Civic and the Accord. Honda offers a lot of different versions of these two vehicles, which I actually think is at a detriment to sales, it was hard to decide between all the different models. Accords were running around $30,000, which I think is pretty expensive considering what the car actually is. Hondas are known for their reliability and while I think the Accord is a good car, you can get a Passat (Motor Trends Car of the Year, mind you) for closer to $25,000. With the Accord out of my range, we decided to test drive the Civic. It seems like a perfectly decent car, but it really reminded me of my sister's old Saturn and the first car I ever drove, the Cavalier. It has the feel of a car on a budget. It has great trunk space and was spruced up with some "eco-friendly" features including lighting that told you if you were being more or less economical with your driving. Though I liked the idea, driving the car made me realize how silly it was. I'm already aware that when I'm accelerating I'm getting worse gas mileage than when I'm coasting. So really, these were just some silly lights at the top of my dashboard that told me what I already knew. Again, I thought the people at Honda were very nice and I would give them five stars for trying to figure out what I was looking for and what I needed, but I'd have to give their cars three stars for their feature to price ratio. read more

NEVER COME HERE, TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. Went in for a basic oil change/inspection. When I drove it home I noticed scrapping I didn't have before. I then saw my splash guard was hanging, which it wasn't before Wyler touched it. Then I went back to fix it, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they just made a mistake. But afterwards it still scraped, they didn't even do anything to it. I brought it in a 3rd time to fix a loose splash guard that they caused and the only fix they had was to zip tie it. I spent far too much money here for them to break something on my car, not admit it, not fix it, then give me a half baked solution I could've done myself. I would never trust them with my car again and I advice you stay away. read more

I was kind of skeptical going here at first because of the area it's in, but I'm so glad I went there. Everyone was so nice from the start. I got an oil change and a tire rotation for about $65. They also fixed a broken tire pressure light my and my rear brake light. The whole thing cost about $90. But Erica was super nice and gave me a coupon so it was about $85. They also put the car through their car wash which was a lovely surprise. For 85$ everything they did was very reasonable. As I was about to leave there was an issue with my battery key and they replaced it for free. I will definitely come back here. Thanks so much guys! read more

If I was able to give a rating with zero stars I would. I bought my Ridgeline brand new from Jeff Wyler on 11/25/22. On 5/28/23 I had a dead battery on my Ridgeline. I called Honda Roadside and they dispatched out AAA. The AAA technician had to change out my battery and in the process of putting back the engine air intake for the motor dropped two fasteners somewhere in my engine compartment. He could not find the fasteners and his solution was two plastic zip ties to hold it together. I all of a sudden had an Emission System Problem warning light now on in my truck. I told the technician that his fix with the zip ties was unacceptable and that I refuse to drive my truck. Six days after the incident my truck was finally towed to Jeff Wyler Superior Honda. The service manager called me and told me that they would not warranty my battery and that I would have to go to the parts department and buy the two fasteners that the technician lost and then they would repair my vehicle back to the way it should be. I am now on day 11 with still no vehicle while each party that was involved argue over whose fault it is. I have only asked and will continue to ask for my truck to be restored back to an OEM standard since it is still under warranty with only 5800 miles on the truck. This is my 5th Honda and my 4th Honda Ridgeline. After this experience I will tell anyone that I meet to never go to a Jeff Wyler dealer because they only care about making money and service means nothing. read more

We've driven Honda cars for over 20 years, and have used the Service department at Superior Honda (now Wyler Superior Honda) for as long. I took our 2012 CR-V in after the battery died from not being driven for 8 days. It was a Honda battery rated for 100 months (bought at Superior) that had 55 months of use. We charged it enough to start and drove it to the service dept. They "tested" the battery, told us it was fine and didn't charge for the test. Five days later the battery was dead again. We charged it, drove it back and were told that a $140 diagnostic would be run and that they'd call in about four hours. I called in 4 1/2 hours and got VM. Called again in 5 1/2 hrs and got VM. At the time the service dept was closing Honda called and said everything was fine and the car was good to go. The following day, I spoke to 2 different people at the service desk. Neither was able to tell me exactly what systems were checked in the diagnostic tests. They showed me that the battery had a full charge and again told me that everything was fine -- despite having the battery completely discharge twice in the previous week. After continued questioning about exactly what was done, they showed me no documentation for their service, and offered to waive the $140 charge. They offered to sell me a new battery. I declined, drove across the street to Advance Auto Parts and bought a new Die Hard battery, which they installed at no additional charge. I'm done with service at Superior Honda. read more

You went as far as "saying" you'd order us a part for the car and it's been 2 weeks and we haven't even had a follow up call and the part has not be replaced. This has been the worst experience I've had with a dealership. How are we suppose to trust all of these free oil changes to work out of this hasn't either. DON'T EVER USE THIS HONDA LOCATION! I went in for an alignment. I was talked into a diagnostic test which is $70. The only reason I'm @ this location is because I decided to take a last minute trip & thought the alignment would be a good idea, & my usual Honda dealer was already booked. One of the lights is on in my dash, which that location has already told me is a bad sensor. A RELIABLE Honda location I have trusted for years. This dealership had me for 3 hours & they tried to tell me that somehow my car is pulling to the right because of something connected to the light in my dash & that I don't have a bad sensor. After 3 hours they asked me for more time and another $130 to keep searching. I just needed an alignment. After 3 hours of my time & $70 + my car has not been aligned. Pathetic! Had to get my 2012 Honda Pilot there as the alternator was dead. $900 for the new alternator and installation? Robbery, shop rate of $117/hour and charged 3 hours? My usual mechanic said it should not have been more than $400 installed with a rebuilt. As well, mechanic noted that the power steering pump was seeping with a cost of $900 and another area above the alternator where they said was leaking ie. $607 to fix. If it continues to leak onto the alternator, it can damage the alternator. My usual mechanic took a look and took the engine cover off and DID NOT see any leaks or grease stains anywhere. No leaks or spots inb my garage or driveway. Rip off, Stay away!! not going back there again. read more

I brought in my Honda Accord for a repair on my vehicle on Monday, 5/9/22. I had to tow the vehicle in as the car would not start. This tow took place around 10 am. The car was dropped off immediately thereafter, but I never got a call from Jeff Wyler Superior Honda on Spring Grove Ave in Cincinnati. I waited until the middle of the afternoon until I called Jeff Wyler myself. The call was directed to a reception desk, where the representative tried to connect me to the service department. The call was never picked up in the service department and kept getting cycled back to the front desk where the representative attempted to connect me a few more times with service to no success. I had to hang up. Immediately after I ended the call the service department called me back. A Jeff Wyler Honda service representative was on the line and said they had just received the car. I know this was a lie as the towing agency dropped the car off in the morning. It was also somewhat suspicious that they called me only after I called them several hours after they were supposed to have received the vehicle. The representative stated they would perform diagnostics on the car and would get back to me. He did not get back to me that day or that Tuesday. I tried to call on Tuesday to little success. After the 2-day period in which I knew nothing about my car whatsoever, I called Jeff Wyler Superior Honda on Wednesday and was patched through to the representative. He said they did not know anything yet but would have an answer that afternoon and he would call me. He never did. As a result, I called nearer to close of business on that Wednesday and was told by another representative that he had left for the day already. She also stated that she would talk to "management" about my concerns and at the very least get back to me herself tomorrow. She never did and I have a suspicion that she never talked to "management." After still not knowing anything about my car, I called on Thursday and made it through to the representative, where he stated that it was an electrical harness issue that was only discovered after replacing the fuel relay. He stated that he would try to determine if they could fix it and get back to me. He never got back to me. At this point I knew I would not receive information from Jeff Wyler Honda unless I somehow made it through their call systems or showed up in person. I chose the latter. When I showed up on that Thursday, I was able to find the representative and asked about the status of my car. He said they were still working on it. I had to sit for about 30 min. until a mechanic came up with a piece of paper estimating what could be done and how much it would cost. It was curious how fast this happened once I showed up in person. In addition, the representative lied and stated that he called a few times when he did not over the course of the week and maintained his position while simultaneously speaking past me and making it seem as if my concerns were illegitimate or were a matter of normal business dealings. This, of course, was utter nonsense. I realized I had no power in this situation as they were effectively holding my car and I would have to go through them to get it out. It felt like they were bullying me and that there was nothing I could do. I felt helpless and not having my physical car added insult to injury. While this terrible experience happened at Jeff Wyler Honda in Cincinnati alone, it is notable that this is the second time I have had significant issues in dealing with representatives at this location. The first was over a simple oil change on a Sat. morning when it was not busy at all. I experienced significant delay and lack of attention in getting the service that I was wanting to pay for. I should have known then that I should look elsewhere in the future. I am on my second Honda Accord and I loved the brand and the car. I know they eventually need to be replaced and was fully prepared to get another Honda Accord (my third). However, given these recent experiences, I am now questioning whether I should go with another Honda. Jeff Wyler is a big service and sales operation in the Cincinnati area, and I would likely have to go to them again for service and warranty issues should they arise. I bulk at the idea of having to do this. In addition, I have reported my issues to Honda North America Corporate and was told that I would be patched through to a case manager to resolve the issue. Once again, I never was put in touch with anyone. Someone called to say that it would happen soon, but I am still waiting. I will likely opt for a different brand for my next car. One that I feel values their customers a little more when it comes to service and not just when it comes to new or used car sales. I do not like this idea, as I used to love Honda a great deal up until recently. My advice would be for others to stay wary. read more

I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER HERE FOR 7 YEARS AND IT HAS GONE WAY DOWN HILL: Gave it 2 stars because in this case, my technician/ rep, Casey, was very helpful and accommodating and I don't want him drug through the mud for this. But otherwise, this SHOULD be a one star review. I originally leased my 2017 Civic from Superior Honda in 2017, then purchased the car from them at the end of the lease term in 2020, BEFORE it changed ownership and became Jeff Wyler's. I have since been to the dealership after it became Jeff Wyler's for the occasional oil change or maintenance and once even an appraisal (they low balled me bad, was literally offered the exact amount I still owed on the car- IN A CAR SHORTAGE) My old review from years ago was glowing and five stars. This is not the case anymore. The AC on my car went out due to faulty parts that were covered on a factory extended warranty. I wanted just the two parts replaced on the warranty. I explained that since it should be covered by Honda that I do not want a bill. They told me they would have to do a diagnostics that would run at about $196.00 if something was wrong with the car and it wasn't either of the faulty parts. BUT if one of the parts covered under warranty was part of the issue, then that fee would get waived, and it was. So really, my final bill was $0, but the fact that it could have been almost $200 to just get looked at and see what is wrong, is ridiculous, but again, the techs don't set that price. I blame management and owner. They tell me my car should be ready by the end of the day after I drop it off at 10:00am. Casey, was again, very helpful and kept me in the loop here. It ended up taking longer and wasn't going to be ready until the next morning (this was again, just to do a diagnostics and see what was wrong with it apparently). So then I hope to get it the next morning because I am on my only "staycation" vacation for the year, and I planned a day trip for myself that day (thinking when I dropped the car off that it would only be a day because that's what I was told). I needed my car. I am told that I cannot pick up my car yet, they will need it till 6:00pm probably, BUT my AC will be fixed for free, yay! That was my only day to go on the day trip, so that got ruined but, whatever, at least I was under the impression that my AC would be fixed, so the day wasn't a total loss, I'll just try and go on the trip again next year. Then I am told at 3:00pm that day, that they could not fix anything for me OR replace the faulty parts covered under warranty because the compressor had a separate issue (probably caused by the faulty parts in the first place). So essentially, I didn't have my car for TWO DAYS, got my vacation ruined, got NOTHING done on it, and they didn't even bother to run it through the car wash. Oh, and if they WERE going to fix my AC, it would cost me $600 and take 5 more days. My boyfriend is a mechanic, so I'll just have him fix it himself and buy the parts myself. Only reason I took it to Superior Honda in the first place was to get factory parts replaced for free as per the warranty. NOT WORTH IT! I blame management and ownership for this sh*t show that they have turned the dealership into. I still love Honda's but will be purchasing my Honda's elsewhere from now on. But take it from a long time customer: this place has gone WAY down hill and they will try to upcharge you, over charge you and rip you off, all thanks to good ole Jeff Wyler. First off, my apologies to Rick Moulden. I mistakenly misspelled his last name in my original review. So after 5 days, Superior Honda located an Odyssey that was exactly what we wanted and had just been offloaded at another dealership in Indianapolis. They drove to Indianapolis to pick up the vehicle and brought it back to prepare it for us (only 129 miles on the vehicle when we bought it due to the drive back from Indy). The only things that were missing were the splash guards and cargo tray. The cargo tray was due in the next day, and the splash guards were installed immediately upon observation of them missing. Ray Luttrell helped us with the purchasing process. Ray was a gentleman to work with. Very kind, lots of good stories, didn't mind answering additional questions we had, and was definitely customer focused. Then once the paperwork was signed, Rick helped us get synced and setup on our new Odyssey before pulling away. Overall, the process was professional, quicker than all other vehicle purchases I've experienced, and definitely not stressful. I bought out my 2015 CRV from a lease in June of 2018. Had a multi point inspection in September of 2018. Battery died Thanksgiving Day 2018! I called AAA and they came and replaced the battery (which was no good) for $150. They also ran an alternator check and said that my alternator is going bad. My vehicle has 20000 miles. How does an alternator go bad in that time? More importantly, why didn't I find out about this at my multipoint inspection? I took my car to the service center to ask the above questions and found out that they do not check the Alternator when the check the battery during a service inspection. I asked what they could do for me and was informed I would have to wait many hours if they were going to check it. James, the service rep I spoke with, could not offer me any idea in terms of pricing or less busy times to return. Overall I am very disappointed by the lack of understanding provided by the service rep as well as his general unhelpful demeanor. Service department - 13 days ago husband came in for an oil change, told him that his car was unsafe to drive and they would not let him leave without them fixing it. The car had just been thoroughly checked by a family reputable mechanic that has done wonderful and honest work on our family cars for years. Husband fell for it, paid over $200 for a temporary (said about a year) fix to a problem that wasn't yet occurring. 13 days later the oil is dripping and they have no promises to try to fix without charging more. Probably one of the worst dealerships I've been to. They are game players and like to waste people's time. I went to check out a car I saw online and filled out an application. I didn't have time to stay because I had to work so I told them to give me a call to see if I was approved. I get not only a call BUT an email as well saying I got approved. I was so excited. The next day, I had made ride arrangements with my relatives so I could pick my car up. They said all I had to do was sign and I'd be out the door in my new ride. Well, after sitting for ABOUT 1.5 HOURS with my mother who just got off work and was tired, they said I couldn't get my car. Their excuse was they didn't want to count my overtime as income! In other words, a bunch of bullcrap! Mind you, even without the overtime, I make good money and I have a 700 credit score AND I was putting about $3500 down on the car. My saleswoman was Nikki L. She didn't even have the balls to come back to tell me the news. She had one of her minions come down to tell me the sorry excuse for why I didn't get the car. Still trying to figure out how it went from: approved and we found a bank to finance you, just sign the papers....to: you can't count overtime. Oh well! Luckily, I ended up finding the same car I was looking for with lower miles and a better price at a dealership that wanted business and actually give a hoot about their customers. I had my brand new car repaired at the Superior Honda body shop. I figured since it is a dealer body shop, the work would be done well. Now, the work was done well (at least seemingly so) but I want to discuss the condition in which my car was returned to me. The interior mats of my car were covered in grey residue and the streaks of it also covered the interior walls of the car. There was garbage left in the backseat (empty water bottles and nail clippings). The car also smelled odd. I wouldn't describe the scent as a pungent odor, but certainly a mild odor. Needless to say, I was aghast when I opened my front door. Now, I have had my car repaired at body shops before and my car was NEVER returned to me like this. It was always spotless and pristine. So, I pointed these issues out to the body shop and they sent out a gentleman to "clean the car." The guy brings out a bottle of glass cleaner and a rag and begins to spray it onto the interior of the driver's side door. As he's doing this, he sprays an abundant amount into my left speaker. Noticing this, he then starts to blow into the speaker to try to clear it out. He then takes his rag and wipes the other dust but leaves the garbage and nail clippings and says "hope that's okay" and walks away. I am just so irritated and disappointed with the quality of service here. I brought my car here because I trusted the dealership name. Honda means quality and that's what I wanted and expected for my car. It is just sad that now I have to take my car to get cleaned because whoever repaired my car decided it was okay to clip their nails in the back and leave grey matter all over the upholstery. I know this is the dealership page but this is where they sent me to get my Honda repaired. Honestly, the only reason they deserve a single star is that they actually seemed to have managed to repair the car. Just do yourself a favor and take your car elsewhere. I wish I had. read more

Had a good experience with Superior body shop/collision center. I had been rear ended on the highway and needed some repairs done on my rear bumper. I called Superior Honda and they let me know I did not need an appointment to come in and get an estimate and I could come in between 8am-5pm M-F. They did not tell me I was to head over to their separate body shop location instead of the dealership that I called (where I typically go to get work done) so I ended up going to the wrong place first. I arrived at the body shop which is pretty hidden behind two other dealerships, looks like a giant grey warehouse with some orange and blue painted signage on it. Just park and walk into the office area. I was very pleased with my experience here, I headed inside and let the receptionist know I was here to get an estimate done and she handed me some paperwork to fill out. I only waited about five minutes after finishing that before I had a nice worker come greet me and walk with me to look at my car. He took care of everything and helped me understand the entire process of Superior submitting the estimate to the other driver's insurance, etc. Really happy with Superior body shop so far!! I have purchased two cars from Superior Honda. There are some great and not so great things to say about this place. I really like my salesperson, Hank. He is knowledgeable, friendly and just an all-around good salesperson! I got the exact car that I wanted when I came to Superior Honda and even test drove another similar car that Hank thought I might like. The problem that I have with this place is that the sales process seems to take an eternity. I knew exactly what I wanted, but was still there for over 3 1/2 hours. That is too long! There must be a way to speed up this process. I also get my cars serviced here and I must say that the customer service in their service department is good and they were accommodating in this regard. I like the free car washes and I feel comfortable leaving my car here. I will probably be a returning customer, because this is a convenient place for me to come, but they do have some areas of opportunity. read more

This is a wonderful service department. I brought my car in there the first time for a routine oil change and tire rotation and I was shocked at how positive the experience was. The waiting room was quite, had 2 big TVs, and snacks and drinks and comfortable chairs which made the time fly by. I am now a regular because of how great they have treated me and the quality for the work performed on my car. I recommend this service department to everyone even those who don't drive Honda's. BUYER BEWARE! Absolute crooks! After negotiating an agreed upon price for a new vehicle they slid in an extra $1500 charge hidden as a work order they had me sign that didn't indicate prices or detail of what the work was. They knew that after being there for hours already with my 6 year old that I was pressed for time. And yes, I could have asked more questions, but I really didn't think they would do something that dirty. And absolutely no remorse on their end. Normally I like to bring my car to the dealer for oil changes and work but not this one. Won't be seeing another dime for me. I can't rate that experience low enough. read more
