I will preface this review by saying that I've driven a vw for the past 10 years and taken the car to the dealership for every repair, oil change, etc.... this week I took my new honda in for it's first appointment (recall item) and really found that I missed some of the things I took for granted at the VW dealership. If my car is going to take a while, I would really appreciate either a ride to work or a comfortable place to wait and unfortunately this Honda dealership provides neither. I don't expect anything fancy...just maybe a room that is not freezing cold because it is basically the lobby with a door to the outside that continues to open and close as more people come in.. I will give it 3 stars because the people were friendly and as far as I know they did a good job on my car...but there is a lot that can be improved on..starting with a more comfortable place to wait OR a shuttle to work! read more

Just bought a car from Superior - in the world of shopping online, getting a fair and honest price, and follow-up at the dealership...these folks were absolutely fantastic. I started my saga at one of the car pricing websites - my request for a quote on a Honda went to 3 dealerships. One didn't send me a price - they wanted to talk on the phone (hellloooo car shopping in 1999!). Another didn't respond at all. Yet another sent me a price that appeared to be the lowest far and away, but conveniently left out the delivery charge ($800 or so that they excluded from what I'd have to pay). Then there was Superior....Nikki and Jami in the Internet Department sent me what I needed right away. They were diligent and helpful as I weighed my options (they even pointed out that there pricing included delivery charge even though I hadn't mentioned my other experience). When I came in with my trade, they were able to get me in and out quickly since I had commitments that afternoon besides looking at cars. Making the decision to purchase from them was a no brainer based on their honesty, transparency, and respect for my time and car shopping convenience. My first car buying experience was absolutely subpar, disappointing, and frustrating with exception to the gentleman who completed the financing portion of the deal. He was very helpful, informative, and genuine with me when completing the purchase, and I couldn't have asked for anything more from him. As for the salesman and maintenance department/body shop, I could not have had a worse experience. On the evening I purchased my car (a brand new 2017 vehicle), I noticed a white scuff in one of the doors while looking over the vehicle (which was completed outside in the dark with limited lighting). While completing the financing portion of the deal, the salesman said that they could remove scuff. After looking over the car in daylight the following morning, I noticed the white scarf was removed, but there was still remanent blemishes left behind. Additionally, I noticed a dent in a different door as well as a scuff on the gearshift knob. I was going to be bringing the car back into the dealer soon to have leather trim and heated seats installed, so after going back-and-forth with the salesman, he said that they would take a look and see what they could do while the car was in for the leather. After the leather was installed, there were a few issues. One of the stitching seams as well as the back armrest cupholder were not finished properly. Additionally, the dent in the door from earlier was not repaired. At this point, I tried communicating with the salesman by phone call, email, and voicemail numerous times, though I didn't get a response for about a week and a half. At that point I reached out to the gentleman who did the financing for me, and within the hour, I got a call back from the salesman who gave me no real explanation for his lack of communication. I brought the car back in to repair the leather issues as well as the dent in the door. When I returned to pick up the car, the leather had been repaired, but the dent was not. In addition, a new approximately 3 inch scratch was now located beneath the original dent, so I left the car at the dealer yet again for them to make repairs. I received ever changing deadlines and numerous anticipated completion dates for when I could expect to receive my car. When finally arriving at the dealer to pick up the car, it appeared that the repairs were made satisfactory, but I also found a half smoked cigarette laying in the backseat on the brand new leather that was just installed. I also saw dirt scuff marks up the front passenger dashboard with a small pile of dirt on top of the dashboard, almost resembling someone propping their foot up on the dashboard. In summary, I was 100% unsatisfied with my service and treatment at Superior Honda. As of now, I do not intend to ever return to this dealership for maintenance of my new vehicle (even with the first free oil change and other incentives that came with the purchase of the car) or to ever potentially buy a new car again . The way my scenario and new car were handled and treated was disappointing and unacceptable. read more

Overall, I had a great car buying experience. The reasons why I didn't give a 5 star rating are basically because I was first told by one salesman that the color vehicle I wanted was not on the lot, then the next day there was one(lunar silver). The only good part of my experience was my sales rep, to be honest. He was very helpful. I bought a used Accord there and at the time I had another car there being serviced for the airbag recall. The one service writer lady that works there is very rude and has an attitude. I witnessed it with other customers as well, not just myself. I was told the car I was buying had just been back from the body shop. They painted over the front license plate bracket (Ohio doesn't require front plates anymore) rather than removing it and respraying the bumper properly. They also painted over a small patch of rust in another spot that I didn't notice until after I bought the car. Financing took forever, and the keyfob was broken and rather than having a new one made while I waited for like 4 hours to buy the car, I had to come back the next day to have it done. You'd think this is something they would do before a customer is ready to buy the car. I get that they have a big operation going but it sure would have been nice if the process was a bit more streamlined. Overall I am satisfied with the car, and it's a good thing I am handy as it needed the timing belt and water pump serviced. I was told they did a lot of work on the car and they did install new brakes, etc, but the timing belt is a 105k mile or 7 year service, and we're talking a 9 year old car with 134k miles when I bought it. Timing belt and water pump should have been serviced before selling this vehicle on a Honda lot. read more

WORST dealership in Cincinnati hands down. They sell lemons and then blame it on the customer for the car coming with pre existing issues that they did not warn you about. I had a car for 2 weeks and had to come back for 4 separate issues. I purchased a car off this lot and within 24 hour I had to bring it back for an awful loud screeching noise. When I brought it in the staff was very unprofessional and not helpful. After going back and forth with the staff I left my vehicle there to have them look at it. They told me nothing was wrong and sent me home. The following day I got in my car to have 4 flat tires. I went to fill them up and drove around for a while but the flat tire alert didn't go off so I had to go back and have them fix the alert. After that I had to take the car back for having a crunching sound in the front of the car and having an awful alignment (which I pointed out to the sales man when test driving and which he responded with "the alignment is fine it's just the road." Which was absolutely was not the road). When I brought it back and expressed my concerns and how I didn't feel safe or comfortable having the car on the road and requested for the dealership to take my car back, they said they could not and the repairs were up to me to get fixed. I then reminded them I had a bumper to bumper warranty, which they said didn't apply to the issues. I ended up giving up trying to work with them since they were rude, sexist, and unprofessional. I ended up selling the car after only two weeks and being out $9,000 due to the issues. When I sold it I also realized they charged me $3000 more than what the selling cost was quoted to me by the salesman. Superior fixed it! I was very unhappy with a car that I feel like I got lied/lured into purchasing. Chris, the GM, followed up with me 48hrs later and asked why my experience wasn't great. I told him everything and asked if there was any way I could do a swap of vehicles to get the civic I wanted and he made it happen along with Jesse, Eliot and Conisha. It was a much better experience the second time around and I am impressed at how fast they worked to make me happy. It was such an easy process to return the vehicle I hated and get the one I loved. This review is just for the service department, I came here on Valentines day due to my car having a flat and the spare could on be on for at the most 45 miles. I pulled up and walked in and was greeted and the employee asked about my visit, I explained my problem and he said they had to check and see if they had a 2010 civic tire. He did and they put it on and offered a complimentary carwash after everything was done. I had asked him to run a test on my TPMS sensor which was on, they did and said it was fixed. Well two days later the sensor came back on and that test cost 50 dollars, I thought it was wasted. The tire itself cost 150 including labor. read more

Superior Waste/Inferior Performance Living two hours away, I scheduled and confirmed with their staff a time on Saturday to go in and test drive a car. When I arrived, I was informed that the car was in their body shop, which is closed on Saturdays, so it was unavailable for me to test drive (four hours of my time & gas wasted). I was told that the car would be out of the shop on Wednesday of the following week, and that a hold would be placed on the car if I would want to come in for a test drive. Again, I confirmed a time on Thursday that I would be in for a test drive. An hour before I was to arrive, I received a call to inform me that this car with a hold placed on it had been sold (one-and-a-half hours of my time & gas, and half of a personal day from work wasted). This is the most costly, frustrating, and disorganized establishment with whom I've ever almost done business. The only reason they deserve even a single star, in my book, is that Hank seemed like a pretty decent guy. read more

Wow! A great car buying experience. I was looking for a new to me used car but haven't car shopped in 5 years so I went on Autotrader and found a few different options at Superior Honda. Immediately Devyn helped narrow down my search to just a few great cars in my price range by letting me test drive and by explaining different features that I may find valuable. Afterward, I wanted to go to one more dealer nearby and check out just a few more options before making my decision. The other vehicles at the second deal ship did not work out so I decided to immediately go back to Superior Honda to purchase a Honda Accord with my husband. I have been going to the service department at this dealership with my girlfriend's 2011 Honda Fit while it is under my care, and have had few issues... until recently. Our A/C in the car suddenly started malfunctioning, only working on the highest setting. When we went to Superior, they diagnosed the issue as the A/C Transistor, so they ordered one and it set us back $170. Naturally, the A/C stopped working after a day, because the real issue was the blower motor. A simple internet search revealed that a defective blower motor is a very common issue with Fits from around 2009-2011. The price to get it repaired? A whopping $692. When we called the Honda dealership in Madison, Wisconsin where my girlfriend is from, the price was $500, almost $200 less. Other sources also appeared to be much cheaper. What I don't understand is, why is this not a recall? Aside from that, why are not all Honda mechanics aware of this problem, as the internet clearly showed that it's a factory defect that Fit owners suffer from around the nation? read more

I have gone to Superior numerous times for both routine service and emergency repairs, and have never been disappointed with the price, time taken, and quality of the service. During my last emergency repair, my wonderful service advisor Erika sent text updates throughout the day with full disclosure of all of my options. Sales department was great. Service department is below average. Service department answer the phone, and you can spend a life time on hold (I spent over 18 minutes). My 2017 CRV has fewer than 1000 miles on it, and is coming back for the 2nd time for the same electronics issue. The first time, I was told that they knew that the issue was a "camera failure," but they couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. I will remind them that the Ohio "Lemon Law" says that they get 3 tries to repair the same problem and the 4th time is when the law kicks in. It's a good thing that their Wi-Fi is good, because it looks like I will spend a lot of time working from their customer lounge. read more

Was loving my Honda CRV 2015 but the service is making me regret my decisions. Under 30,000 don't expect my battery to go dead on me. Waiting for road side repair, I got a jump and drove it to the dealer. To get battery replace free under the 36,000 mile warranty. Upon arrival they did a battery check and said battery was OK. Well I just drove 20 miles you would think it would charge just fine. Now if I want a new battery then it is $150. No don't want a new battery for $150, just want my Toyota back in all the years never had an issue with my Toyota's. You would think for a customer stranded and made my own way to the dealership would get a better response. $150 is a fraction of what I am paying and would have made me a happy customer, read more

I put out $2600 within a month of having the car fixed on two different occasions in the month of June 2020 and weeks later my car stalled on me in the middle of the highway! Brought my car back up to superior Honda for the 3rd time on Mitchell ave and now they said I need a new engine after another whole week of not having my car.
