I had a complicated situation with new transponder, keys and fobs. BEN was very attentive and eager to help. He made suggestions and clearly what he and his equipment can do. He has very expensive equipment for coding chip automotive keys, after explaining my requirements, he jumped right into it. My complicated situation only took about an hour. He made suggestions on how to cut the titanium keys, (my original request) but I didn't have them do it, we both agreed that it would ruin his equipment, and didn't want to run the risk. He arrives with the ability to make only One Single Key because his machine was broken. And as a result other matching keys don't work. I am sure that this company is knowledgeable in its field.. However, I cannot say the same for their honesty. I purchased a replacement key and fob for my car as I only had one key. I talked to Superior on the phone asking if they could cut and program it for me. They agreed that they would do it, and it would cost $80. Of course, since I had purchased the key fob elsewhere, there would be no guarantee. I agreed to those conditions and went to their establishment. When I arrived, I was told that it would be impossible to cut my key because it was made of steel and not brass. In fact, I was told that I would not be able to find a locksmith willing to cut the key for me because it would tear up their cutter. I wrote to the company who sold me the replacement key to express my dissatisfaction if purchasing a key that could not be cut. The company told me that was ridiculous and that they supplied keys to many locksmiths in my area. Needless to say, with their help, I easily found several others willing to cut and program my key. The only thing I can imagine is that Superior would not do it unless I went to the further expense of purchasing a fob from them. Whereas I am sure that they would do an efficient job at cutting the key, I cannot say that I would trust them to do it. read more
