I am out of state and the closing attorney had notary service come to my second home in NC. The young lady notary was nice enough but thought I was supplying documents which were supposed to be sent to the notary service. It was confusing for all parties, but it got resolved. She showed up on time. I was NOT told that the notary was bringing witnesses and she brought two older, destitute-looking gentlemen whose IDs she requested and she behaved as if she did not know them. Very strange. Apart from the fact that they both looked like guys she just picked up off the street, they had the smell of marijuana on them. I was never told witnesses would be coming with the notary and would not have met them at my home if so. The notary asked me questions about items in my home, which normally would not bother me, but under the circumstances, felt odd. With the documents containing my bank and personal information, and the notary leaving with them, I felt horribly uncomfortable and let the attorney's office know and am, for a rare instance, posting a negative review. read more

Complaint Description: Provided notorious services for this company it was a last minute signing that I took from the company dropped a package off they called the next day I provide notorious services and did so to superior notary on August 5 in the process of providing the service I dropped the package off within my daily route I was called right before getting there to state that the package was coming in late as I stated to the representative I was not giving a time to drop the package off typically these packages are dropped off late in the afternoon or they dropped off as soon as the job is done if they are no more jobs to be done within the day I'm dropping the package off I gave it over to the clerk they gave me a token I left. I was told the next day I'll give him a call the next day but some representative of this company stating that I would not be paid anything for my services in telling them this or hearing this I called him back to state was the package going to be utilized I was told the package was going to be used by the title company and I stated if that's the case then I should be able to services. I was told that because the package was late I was not getting nothing and the phone was hung up in my face. My thing is if a package that I took my time to go out and do what's called in last minute was done and used then I should be paid for the service I did not appreciate not being paid for anything given the fact that I took this Notary as a last minute request. I do not look at this is best practice for any company doing the service of doing business all I can look at it as I'm being stiffed at $125 the package is still being used services have been rendered if that's the case I need payment for my services I don't work for free. Therefore Claim is being opened on this company. Typically if they cannot utilize the file the file will be returned and it can be destroyed by her telling me she's using the file and pay me nothing for my services that's why I have the issue at.Contacted the company on August 6 their response was hanging up in my face and saying I was getting nothing for the service provided. Your Desired Resolution: The company owes me $125 I want the money that the company owes me since the package is being used which I was told it was being used at 11 AM on August 6 then service was rendered and it needs to be paid for. read more
