I needed some storage in a hurry and found what I needed at Devon. I met with Bree, who guided me through the process. She is great! I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer and was having problems gaining entry to the facility. Bree took pity on my and walked me through the process- again. Outstanding! Clean facility. Looks like new even though I know the complex is around 10 years old or so. The young lady that runs the place is extremely polite. She actually asked if she could help us move some furniture!! Unreal. We had an indoor unit that was climate controlled. The lights indoors were always bright. No need for extra lighting. The overhead doors were always working properly and we never had any issues. On site restroom was nice to have available, and for being a public restroom, was very clean. If you need a storage unit I would highly recommend this location. I wish I could remember the young ladies name, but she will absolutely take care of you. Thank you Devon Storage! read more

My daughter and son-in-law had stored all of their wedding gifts, future house furniture, and other expensive items at Devon Storage. Due to the storage facility's negligence to replace/repair a camera that had been broken for several weeks, the thieves knew exactly which unit to rob. All of their stuff was taken, and management was utterly unhelpful. From our understanding this has happened on more than one occasion. read more

I would highly recommend this storage facility. I'm a teacher so I needed a unit for a couple months this summer. It was clean and I had no problems with bugs or water damage. It's a little more expensive compared to other storage facilities but I think it's worth it. The location is great. They have convenient hours where you're able to get into the facility. They're monitored by surveillance so that definitely made me feel better. The company I used to work for even uses them and have never had an issues. I moved out a couple days late due to being out of town and the manager worked out something with me. I was super grateful because I know some companies would say "not my problem" but she handled the situation with care and made it right. I will definitely use them in the future if I need a storage building and would recommend to my friends! read more

Devon Storage is the cleanest and most kept storage facility in Greenville. A'lesha is amazing. After surviving the Rowlett tornado, it was so nice to feel the support and over and above assistance she gave us for the little we were able to salvage as we relocate to this area. read more

1 Star - Terrible Communication & Unprofessional Management…read more My experience with All Sons Moving Company in McKinney, Texas was completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and poor customer service from start to finish was shocking. My move was scheduled for a Sunday afternoon. I was told the movers had another job earlier that day but coming later that afternoon would not be a problem. Suddenly they finished early and decided they wanted to come much earlier than agreed. That was never the plan. Then the pricing policies were not clearly explained when I booked the move. Later they tried to tell me about hourly and weight charges after the fact. That is something that should be clearly explained when a customer books the service, not later on when confusion already exists. Because things were not handled properly, I had to speak with another operations manager who finally explained the procedures and rebooked the move correctly. But then the truck broke down at their location before they even left to come to my house. Instead of communicating properly with me, the company went ahead and scheduled my move for Monday without my approval or even telling me. I never agreed to a Monday move. Today (Tuesday) I called the McKinney location and spoke with the manager, Jenson, to address everything that happened. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, he had a terrible attitude. When I told him his employees were rude and lacked customer service, he responded by saying, "What are you on the phone with me for? What are we doing right now?" What we're doing is simple. I want my refund and I will never use this company again. Between the miscommunication, hidden policies, truck issues, rescheduling without permission, and rude management, this was one of the worst service experiences I have had.

My parents booked these movers for a same day job since our original movers no-showed because they…read morehad heat exhaustion from a previous move. I wish we had found a different company. We paid $700 for them to move the remaining boxes out of my parents' apartment for a job that we were unsatisfied with. To move that remaining stuff should have taken 2 hours and it took 5 hours! Over and over they'd say "ok just another half hour." "Just another hour." They kept moving the goalposts. I was not impressed with the movers we had as my wife and I ended up having to basically unload the truck ourselves. The guy in the truck basically stopped doing anything at one point and was zoning out and the other guy would disappear to smoke cigarettes around the corner of my parents' house or would take long, mysterious bathroom breaks in their house unannounced. Based on those absences and his strange behavior, I worry he was using drugs on the job. If we're paying you $700, please be courteous and don't litter cigarette butts all over my parents' yard, leave your trash in their yard (he would throw his empty water bottles onto the yard when he was done with them), please actually do your job so that I don't have to load and unload for you -- why do you think we're paying you?! While I was having to unload the truck for these guys who were standing around, the other mover in the truck (who wasn't smoking all the time though he did take cigarette breaks too) also started to lance an open wound on his leg with a pocket knife and was flicking blood onto my parents' driveway. Excuse me?! Not to mention the times that they would drop boxes of fragile china because they'd roll a dolly too hard over a threshold or sat down on a white couch they were struggling to get through a door and left dirt and sweat grime all over it! Apparently they also managed to lose their dolly sometime that day and we got called to ask if we had it (we don't). Thoroughly unimpressed, kinda grossed out, and sorry for my parents who had to fork out a ton of cash for a thoroughly subpar experience and had to move much of the stuff themselves anyway.

This place is as good as it gets when it comes to self storage. I've been renting from this place for about a year and a half or so and I've never had such awesome customer service. The gentleman who works on the property is very helpful and so is the general manager, Brena. She new my wife and I were wanting to move into a unit on a specific date so we had it reserved and ready for the move in date. Brena was on top of everything for us. She helped us find the perfect unit and everything, the whole experience was painless and she was wonderful. The gentleman that works for her is great as well. He is always very helpful when we go in to pay our bill. I love this place. The pricing is competitive with other self storage facilities plus it is always clean. That is a HUGE plus! Devon Self Storage was my first ever experience with rented storage space. First, I was able to reserve what I needed on-line, with no reservation fee required. Next, when our move was delayed several days, one phone call took care of changing the date. I received an email confirmation of the change. When we arrived, Pete gave me a tour of the facility and showed me my reserved room. We agreed it met my needs, I completed the necessary paperwork, made payment and began unloading. The facility is immaculately maintained. I can make my payments on-line and the location is convenient to my new home. I couldn't ask for more (and I usually am hard to please). This place is by far the absolute best place you could ever rent from. I have had three units here and the manager, Bree, and the assistant manager, Lisa, are completely amazing. I love these guys and I love this property. The place is always well lit at night, you don't have to worry about it ever, EVER being dirty. It's VERY clean. Nice part of town. They worked with us on cost and we were so pleased with the pricing we didn't hesitate to secure our unit. They were awesome to work with.
