Spectrum Paints is a relatively new store, thus the lack of abundant reviews. This paint store is…read morequite the find. No walking down aisles and aisles to find the right paint. No waiting in line. No speaking to some half-disinterested sales person. Ana was very attentive and very careful to do everything just right! One can tell this is a family business, and you will be treated like a neighborhood person here not just one more frustrated shopper. Their speciality is matching paint colors and the prices are incredibly agreeable. I paid 15 dollars a gallon for each can of paint. Finishes might be limited, but this is more than made up for by the attention to detail in the mixing. Ana checked with me a few times to make sure I was happy with the color match. I bought eggshell instead of flat, and semi-gloss instead of high-gloss. They kept a record of my paint so I can just call and order ahead of time the next time I need to paint. There is true pride and humble friendliness in service. I highly recommend buying your paint here!

Not sure I would buy food like that, but paint...Yes! Spectrum is the kind of place you find if you follow directions from someone who says they "know a guy." The lobby fits 2 people at the counter and 1 standing in the doorway. The shop where the paint is mixed is in the back. And she's not a guy, but the sweetest lady and very paint smart is your concierge into the world of quality paint at great prices. Like a paint sommelier. I figure her husband is the labor in the back. Every now and then you can hear the distinctive sound of a rubber mallet hitting the top of a filled paint can. Soon it will arrive, your paint, in a nice decorative can no less. I guess some frills are included.

When I arrived it was busy and crowded with 2 employees. Stephanie who was working the front desk did an extraordinary job helping all the futon a timely fashion. She was also able to help me pick a color for my fence (espresso macchiato). She was also able to advise me on the different paint products and recommendations. Stephanie even brought my paint out to the car! Wonderful service and great products will make Dunn Edwards my new go to store when needing paint. My old fence came out looking brand new, thanks Stephanie for all the help!

When it came time to make paint choices I was stumped. I knew I wanted color but which color? Pinterest seemed to have a strong bias toward blue (not a fan) and for some reason every room on Houz is white! I was driving my husband crazy, collecting dozens of paint chips, lots of peel and stick samples and eventually those small sample cans started to accumulate. I knew the contractor would insist on Dunn-Edwards but there is no store close by so I attempted to use their visualizer. That's when I saw "Professional Color Consultation " on the menu. Game changer! I made an appointment!! I packed up my tile, countertop and flooring samples, I took better pictures of the furniture and rugs that were staying and headed to Moreno Valley. Pamela Nolasco listened patiently to my long explanation of my vision ( as you can tell, I'm not a right to the point kinda gal) asked some thoughtful questions of both my husband and I and confidentiality suggested Foxtail, a tawny brown! Did not expect that but as she explained it bought out the warmth of the flooring, made the tile and quartz countertop look rich and the champagne bronze fixtures we'd already purchase where the jewelry. I was convinced so we took home a sample pot to make sure it worked in our light. Second thoughts set in when I asked the opinion of friends and family, should have know! A few weeks later when the painter needed a commitment I went back to Pamela. This is when she really showed her talent. Such a good listener! After the second meeting I was reassured about the wall color and had the perfect paint for the vanity and the doors. We're both so pleased with the result. Thank you!

I was doing touch ups today and realized I didn't have enough outdoor stain to complete my trim. I went to the store it was purchased from and felt I had walked into a ghost town. After waiting over 15 minutes, an employee finally came to the counter. I placed the can on the counter, and the employee said they didn't have the Benjamin Moore Arborcoat solid stain anymore. No problem, I'll take whatever the replacement product is. I was told there WAS a replacement, but they wouldn't be able to match the color. So I asked, "what's the difference? Is the sheen different? Does it lay lighter or darker than what I have?" The employee didn't know and offered no potential solution. Leaving the Redlands store, I Googled Dunn Edwards and found a location in Colton. Jack, the employee who helped me, told me they have a similar product, and matching what I had wouldn't be a problem, just do a wet sample with their photospectrometer. Fifteen minutes after I walked in the door, they had a gallon of fresh stain ready to go. The dried sample on the Dunn Edwards container matched the sample on the old can perfectly! My recommendation: the Dunn Edwards store in Colton, and Jack in particular, provided a stellar experience, perfectly matching the color/sheen of the stain I needed with phenomenal customer service to boot!
