But I will attempt to paint an accurate picture for you. First, the initial worker who showed up was rude, unfriendly and would not speak at all. He was supposed to dig a trench 12 inches deep to place the mesh around the deck to prevent animal intrusion. The depth is important otherwise the mesh is useless. After he left the first day we checked and the mesh was actually 6-7 inches. We pointed this out to Becky the office manager and she sent somebody else out to fix it. No apologies, just excuses. The second worker eventually finished the work but the job that was supposed to take two days stretched out from April to June 30 th. There were multiple no call, no show days as well as the one worker they sent never worked for more than 3 hours. Despite asking the office manager Becky to finish the job we were given empty promises. Every time the worker showed up she would state " the job will be completed today" but never was. For the money we paid this company should be embarrassed to operate the way they do business. I'm not sure how they stay in business.

in 2024 i requested Modern Pests services to help with bats in my attic. they responded well and…read moreinstalled 1 way bat traps on my roof. the issue came with the removal. i would check the portal to see removal services scheduled only to find no one came out or there was snow on my roof and couldn't remove the traps (understandable) a year and a half later a tech came out to remove the traps. a few days later my wife asks what is in the front yard? it was the removed bat traps just thrown on my front lawn. when i went to check the roof for the traps there was still a trap in my roof. not only did they not perform the full removal but they left trash on my front lawn. i wrote to modern pest who just quietly scheduled another bat trap removal with the same tech who left trash on my lawn the first time. when i called them directly i wasn't able to speak to a manager on duty at all. No manager contacted me prior to just scheduling another removal even though the report the tech wrote out stated he removed all traps the first time. so clearly they were aware of my issue before scheduling another removal appointment and just never bothered to reach out to apologize or anything.

The two technicians, Isaiah Minnehan and Keith Edwards, were excellent. Beginning in the morning, there was confusion regarding the order of the day's appointments. Isaiah and Keith messaged me multiple times throughout the day keeping me informed of when to expect them. This communication saved the appointment as normally, I would have canceled. When they arrived they were very thorough, professional, efficient, and patient when answering all my questions regarding the process and what to expect. I also want to note that Joe Zukowski, the solution specialist who did the initial inspection, was also very thorough and patient when answering all my questions. When you spend a lot of money, you should have some questions. I have called him several times before the initial maintenance appointment and after. If he was not able to answer the phone, he quickly returned my call. Communication is the key. I hope the good service continues.

They sent a young man 2 months ago that could only treat mosquitos & ticks, he hopes to treat hornets when he passes the test. I have home health that help me with daily living this includes trash/recycling. My home health are allergic & could die if stung. Ehrlich sent a 2nd man that did nothing because the hornets are still at the recycling & dumpster. I am sure a bill was submitted and paid by now. People say "affordable housing" and have a lack of empathy. I say do your job. How many people have these type of people showing up with their hand out but don't do the job? As soon as the first squirrel took the peanut bait, Rich came right back over (in a snow storm!) to collect the little guy. He repeatedly assured me that he would take him to a nice, safe place, just far enough away so that Mr. Squirrel would not be able to move back into my house. Rich then continued to set traps to catch and release the squirrel family until everyone was accounted for. Finally, once the weather improved he was able to seal the hole in our attic. Chip & Dale will need to find a new clubhouse for their shenanigans this year.
