I went to AT&T on July 14th, 2025 for the promotion that being run for $1100 off for any Samung…read moredevice for Z Fold 7. I had an S22 Ultra at the time, I went through the process and was told I should see the promo amount removed wiwhen a couple of billing cycles. A few months past and nothing changed, I called then given the same spill. July 12th, 2026 I checked to see why the amount on the phone was still over $1400 since the price should have dropped dramatically by now. I called the customer service number and Rad said that he could place a ticket to have the promo applied by placing a ticket, but then ran into an issue and I had to call their National Retail Escalation line (855)975-4064. July 13th, 2026 after being on the phone for over 3 hours being transferred from the first person to sales then back to the main number again, I was told the plan I was on didn't qualify for the promo and I was given a $130 credit for a $1700 phone that was pristine. Of course, I was given the corporate "There's nothing they can do, because i was given the $130 credit." It was not explained to me that the plan, I signed on for didn't qualify for the promotion amount, had i known that I would not have switched from paying $65 (including insurance) a month with Spectrum to almost that with AT&T and basically scammed out of a promotion. If you can go to any other company to avoid this kind of shady practice then avoid AT&T at all costs.
