I intended to share it with my fiancé however he's not eating bacon and they were not able to make a sandwich without it (Which was not a problem for me, so I was happy to have this sandwich all to myself ). Today I received a different side sauce: red pepper and jalapeño, which are totally different than the one they had before. Previously the side sauce was more similar to chimichurri. Though the new sauce is not common to the flavors of South America, I like better. My favorite is the jalapeño and is spicy. They take a few minutes to warm up the empanadas and the times I was there it was not busy. The indoor seating area is small and still seems cozy. I usually order to go. I believe when the weather is warmer they also have some outdoor seating. They also offered pizza before but I learned today they don't anymore.

I had their vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles in a cup, Hawaiian shaved ice with blue raspberry flavoring, and a Strawberry Shortcake Bar. It was great for a hot day like today. The soft serve was creamy. The ice in the Hawaiian shaved ice could have been finer and thinner shaved, it felt more like a snow cone that use crushed ice. It wasn't powdery and snow-like. The Strawberry Shortcake Bar brought me back to my childhood. The staff at Jimmy's Soft Serve were both wonderful and friendly.

By that time I was full but managed to leave a small spot for my entree of steak and shrimp fajitas. It came out smoking hot (you can see the smoke in my picture), nice crispness to the veggies and the steak and shrimp seasoned to perfection! It came with guacamole, sour cream, rice and black beans. We discovered this awesome food truck during a champagne walk and stopped for a quick snack. These for sure are the best tater tots I've ever had and I'm so glad we got to try them! Excited to try their garden burger next as well as their Gorgonzola Mac and cheese (without the bacon).

Ive tried their Chicago dog and cup of chili. Again, not spectacular, but decent. I've had their purist dogs as we and those definitely didn't hit as good as the one with the toppings. I haven't tried them again but I'm sure they have other menu items that are pretty good because they always have a ton of the building staff waiting onines to get their food.
