Never on time always late. I've used their airport service a few times because I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but I can now say I will never use them again. If you're going to Dulles, take the public bus. And if it's tricky to get to one of the pick up locations, cab there. Do not take the "super shuttle". The van has room for 7. I was 2nd to be picked up and then spent the next 2.5 hours crisscrossing DC picking up others in every far flung part of the city. Amazingly, the bus is faster and cheaper. read more

Great service, operator arrived on time and was patient for the five minutes it took us to get our bags out the door for our international trip, and we were stopping only twice more for pickups very close to our home. Therefore, we arrived at the airport in plenty of time. Van was clean, neat, and service very efficient. We would use Super Shuttle again any time, based on the confirmation we received, the text message the driver was on his way, and the timeliness of the window for pickup. Fantastic. read more

My husband and are visiting D.C., flew in to Reagan National late on Easter Sunday. Our flight on Alaska Air was actually 45 minutes early and I wondered how it would work out with the later reservation I had for Super Shuttle... turned out there were only 3 of us in the van heading for downtown within 15 minutes of talking to SS! Hmm. really surprised to find such bad reviews on Super Shuttle! I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I wish I remembered the driver's name, but he made announcements every now and then, so we didn't have to guess where we were going or if we had to pick up another passenger. The driver also arrived five minutes early to my apartment, and made several calls to get me. He also drove very safely, and it appeared that everyone else in the shuttle appreciated his service and safe driving. I will be using the service again in the near future as I travel often. Your drivers need to be trained how to drive!!! This morning at Washington Circle a Super Shuttle van almost side swiped me by failing to yield to me who was already around the circle. He then had the audacity to pull up beside me and tell me that I was supposed to stop. Driving 101 says those within the circle have right of way. Well, reading all the bad comments, I'm almost afraid of writing mine. An excellent one. I've been traveling to Washington DC for the past 5 years on a quarterly basis. I always took the super shuttle and was always satisfied with it. Because I live in Africa, I sometimes have more than 3 luggages and the driver never complained. Although we all know that tipping is a common practice, they never asked for anything or wait next to you for 3 minutes until you realize that they are waiting their tip! For my last trip, I took another shared van company (don't even remember the name...the yellow ones). I thought that all shared vans companies would be the same...well think again! The supper shuttle vans are always clean and almost brand new. At IAD, I never had to wait more than 10 minutes before taking a ride. I waited 25 minutes with the "yellow" company. Of course, if you travel with your family, it's cheaper to take a taxi. Anyhow, I think that the quality of service is very good, at least in Washington. read more

I would give this service zero stars if I could. Purchased online ahead of time, showed up and was told my van would be 30 min. It was over an hour later until it showed, and the workers at the desk, just out of courtesy couldn't tell me how long the next van was when I asked. I normally err on giving generosity in reviews, but this one may be erring on the harsh side. I normally have good experience with Super Shuttle; however, I now have had two times in a row where the shuttle was late. The first time they called me, but the second they didn't not even call. When it was after the window when they were to pick me up I gave them a call. After being on hold a while I was told the Shuttle would be late and we'd get a call with a new ETA. I said we needed to get to re airport fairly soon as we needed some assurance we would still make our flight. I was told in a quite rude tone that we could cancel our reservation and get a cab, which we did. Turns out the cab was cheaper, too. Had we waited without calling we may have missed our flight. I will likely give Super Shuttle one more try, but another experience like this in the near future and I won't use them anymore. I hope these two experiences were just random occurrences that happened to be in close proximity to each other. I have always been able to count on Super Shuttle before. read more

I used Supershuttle in Washington DC and the service was excellent. The driver was on time and very friendly. It savex me alot of money.

They lied to me and said they could pick up on the joint base. They could not. They changed the exact address that I put in on their reservation system and blamed me for not reviewing the acknowledgement. My notes put in on their reservation website indicated that we were traveling with two small children with car seats and 4 adults and needed to be picked up at 4am at an exact address. They showed up at the wrong base and then told us to walk to the front gate. No service was provided to our group - therefore they should not have been paid. They refused to refund the money. I would not recommend their service (or lack of) to any body. read more

Seeing how a plethora of flights have been delayed due to the winter storm of 2017, one would expect the shuttle service to have shuttles available at the airport waiting for or at least queued up or an idea of when they will be available . Not the case this time, I know customer service is key to keeping customers. But at least acknowledge me when I ask a question about the soonest shuttle going to my destination and put down Your cell phone. Ultimately I ended up taking an uber which got me to my destination faster than " I don't know when the next shuttle is coming, none are in the area." read more

The pickup is very well coordinated on the app. The only unclear thing is the fact that the van comes at the lower level and it took me a while (and a lot of back and forth with the driver on the phone) to understand that. The ride was quick in spite of the van being full, and I am overall vey pleased with this service. I will definitely use it on my future trips. read more

5 Sep 17: After waiting at BWI airport for #810 shuttle for approximately 40min, shuttle finally showed and another couple was booked for this ride as well. We needed to go to Andrews AFB and the other couple went to Arlington VA. Shuttle took the other couple home first and us last!!! Used this service en route to Dulles airport. Everyone from the desk staff to the drivers to the phone operator were rude and unprofessional. No issues with timeliness but the drivers were awful--swerving on the expressway, going the wrong way on a one-way, and instead of calling when he arrived at 3am in a quiet neighborhood, he laid on the horn multiple times. My plane landed at 4:45 and I was not dropped off at my hotel until after 7:00. Checked in right away to the counter but had to wait about a 1/2 hour until I was put on a van. The counter staff walked us out there. Then, when I had been on the van for over 20 minutes I got a phone call from the same guy at the counter asking where I was and what was the number of the van I was on! Then the driver I think was trying to explain their confusion when he said that I didn't answer when he had called me, which is not true. When I said I had been waiting there right in front of the counter and the counter staff had known where I was the entire time, instead of apologizing or explaining that the hell happened he gave me look like "Liar." Then he dropped off everyone else way out in the suburbs before dropping me off last. WTF?! So disorganized and incompetent. Total clowns. Never using them again. read more

I understand that to get a cheaper price than a cab, one trades having to wait some for other passengers to arrive or be dropped off en route to your destination. However, I am paying more than I'd pay for the metro, or metro plus cab to my house from nearest station, so it had better be worth it. Super Shuttle is not worth it out of DCA when the train is right there. Dulles or BWI is another story, but I've concluded there is no reason to take it from DCA. The first warning this is going to suck is they don't post a maximum wait time on their website once you type in your information. I should have the option not to proceed if you're going to make me wait longer than it would take to just take the train home. They should also be willing to refund people who wait longer than said wait time. But of course, then they would have to close the operation, since they are run so poorly. If you live in the suburbs, or at least in Maryland, apparently no driver will want to take you there, I'm guessing because they get paid based on the number of passengers in the van, and the further away the passenger has to go, the fewer the passengers in the van, especially if you aren't travelling during rush hour. I'm not understanding how this is up to the driver. I check in, and the dispatcher says to the two drivers standing there "Do you want to take her?" after grimacing and showing them my destination. They both say no. I am told to sit and wait. I ask for how long? First person says "not long." I say "how long is 'not long'?" Second person says "15-20 minutes". I grimace, mostly because I doubt from past experience this is true, and I want them to know I'm going to complain if it's any longer. Third person sees my face and says "maybe less." I sit. For 25 minutes. While two drivers stand around chatting with the dispatcher. Then I stand up and start pacing around the desk, glaring at them. 5 minutes after that I get put in a van to wait some more there where I can be more easily ignored. 10 minutes after THAT, I get put in a second van with another passenger, and we finally depart. At this point, if I happened to be the first one dropped off, I'd maybe get home about when the metro would get me home, but without dragging my luggage around, so if I hadn't been on the fence in the first place about doing this, I'd sort of break even. But I was not the first one dropped off, and therefore I wound up paying $35 more than the metro costs, only to get home later than the metro would get me home. My luggage wasn't heavy enough to make this worth it. Until they guarantee their wait times, at the time of booking, and stop this ridiculousness of apparently waiting for a driver to volunteer to stop standing around chatting and DRIVE A VAN, Iooks like I'm taking a cab one way and the metro the other, for the same price as super shuttle both ways and then at least I'll be getting what I'm paying for. Reviews for Supreme Shuttle are even worse than for Super Shuttle. read more

Please read these reviews, they are accurate! I booked a ride for July 31st from Dulles and had the same experience as many, no drivers. How can a company take money for a service they are unable to provide? I understand if you just show up out of the blue they may not be able to accomodate, but I had a prepaid reservation. We waited for over 45 minutes, along with 2 other groups of passengers. We were also offered the alternative of sharing with someone else even though we paid for an exclusive ride. They couldn't even manage that, those people were still standing on the curb when we left. My travel partner is disabled, and 45 minutes of standing outside was enough. It took 5 minutes to get a Washington Flyer taxi. I emailed super shuttle immediately, they said they would get back to me in the order the complaint was received. Nothing yet, but based on what I saw yesterday, I'm sure they're up to their eyeballs in complaints. Will I get my money back for that and the return trip I had to cancel (I just can't trust that they actually employee anyone that drives)? I'll let you and the BBB know. read more

Well, I finally heard back from your customer care dept. They graciously gave me a refund for the ride I did not get. They said they would pay the difference from the taxi price and theirs if I could show the deletion of the gratuity. Are you kidding??? I did not get a single email for your services that did not ask me for a tip to the drivers ... but you don't want to pay a taxi tip ... who picked us up at 1:00am? What about our stress and inconvenience. Not part of your terms I heard. Jet Blue gave us a credit equal to our flight plus $50 for our inconvenience just for being late, not stranded. They understand Customer Service, your company does not. Anyone who has to be somewhere, don't us Super Shuttle. Pay a few extra dollars and get dependable service from taxi's and or Uber. I would never recommend Super Shuttle. They are inefficient, unprofessional and more importantly ... not trustworthy. Last week, I had several problems making my reservation without it stating that they could not guarantee me I would make my flight on time. It took an operations supervisor to override the system and send me a manual reservation. Then on my return trip, I called at 8:00pm to say that our flight had a five hour delay and would not be into Reagan National Airport until 1:00am. Although they don't normally pick up anyone after 10:00pm, they said dispatch was aware of the delays and would pick us up. They even sent me a confirmation via email so I did not make alternate arrangements. Of course, when I got in, they were not there. When I asked for Dispatch and then an operations supervisor, I was told that no one should have made that commitment and that no one would pick me up. Since several flights were delayed, we had to wait in a long line for a taxi. There are not that many at 1:00am. Don't waste your money. Take a cab or other shuttle service. I booked a Super Shuttle reservation for my son, who was traveling alone, to travel from Washington National Airport to the US Naval Academy and paid in full to include gratuity. My son checked in as soon as he landed, they told him a van would come for him and about 1 hour later they called and told him they ran out of vans and couldn't transport him. They stranded him at a Washington DC airport that he has been to once with our family. This is the worse customer service I have ever encountered. I've never seen a place with a less safe or consistent website in my life. Whatever you do ... Once again these idiots rang my doorbell at 5:03 AM on a Sunday morning for someone they told they would pick up between 5:15 and 5:30! The folks werent ready yet. They woke up everyone including me. I was not scheduled to be awake until 7. I called and the supervisor had a bad attitude. He said we encourage our drivers to be early! Give me a break! If you give people a specific time range, then why show up early and expect them to be ready? Especially at this hour? I took this to National airport. Was picked up in North bethesda near the beltway, and then driven all over DC for over an hour. When we got to South East DC, I began to panic. From there, he found the beltway, but it was backed-up. I came very close to missing an international flight. I'll never use this again. read more

Arrived at IAD counter. Asked for round-trip from IAD to WDC. With departing flight at 6:20 PM, attendant at the counter said return pickup would be at 1:30--I asked her if that was correct, and then she looked again and re-entered something and then said 3:10. That should have been my first warning that the attendant was either an unsupervised trainee or incompetent. Then I was charged $76 for trip into WDC. Seemed higher than my last trip from IAD to WDC, but that was a while ago, so I didn't question it. Ride into WDC was fine. On return trip, driver asked me where the second passenger was. I told him it was only me. He told me "Oh, your ticket is for two people." Conveniently, no one mentioned this when I was at IAD, and no one offered me two boarding passes for the trip into WDC. When I got back to IAD, I returned directly to the SuperShuttle counter. They declined to refund the second passenger fare; I asked for a supervisor, and instead was offered a card with a phone number on it. Called the number and talked with Vicky who then handed the phone over to Sarah, who took my contact information, and I haven't heard back for 5 days. I have had OK experiences with SuperShuttle in other cities, but this seems to be a combination of local IAD incompetence and larger corporate indifference. Drivers in both directions were courteous and polite, but can't possibly make up for the rest of the company. Hello, SuperShuttle. I'm still waiting to hear from you. For anyone taking a shuttle from IAD, consider the Yellow company at the same desk, or take a cab. read more

I was waiting for my shuttle at the Marriot and it pulled up to get me... or so I thought. The driver said I was assigned to another driver and he couldn't take me unless I called in and have dispatch approve it. So I called up, on hold a long time, he was nice enough to stay to see if I could make it work with dispatch. They finally answered and said that I couldn't take that shuttle. Why I asked. " Because you have been assigned to another driver". Reassign me I said. They then said that they would call the other driver who was suppose to get me. They came back and said no, I couldn't get on the van that was here because it was too full. The driver said he had plenty of room. But they still would not let me get on the van.
