All of the teachers have been wonderful and truly care about helping the kids improve and build confidence. Unfortunately it seems they weren't ready as a business and very easily gave up on all these girls and the program not even a year into it. They were unorganized and the communication along the whole way was just bad. During these times of bad communication and lack of attention to detail we decided to let it go as it's a new program. Things take time to perfect and get right. Correct?..... Not to them apparently it was easier to just cancel the program and let all these kids and staff down without any sort of communication. Just one day out of the blue putting it on the coaches to relay the terrible news that ownership and management made. Slayden couldn't even show up to inform us. He didn't even want us to come to the coaches with problems only to him. Yet he couldn't even show up to tell us face to face. Apparently they didn't want to handle the finances?? Not only did we waste nearly a 1000 dollars on a uniform as well as our monthly tuition and all the other costs. But our girls who worked hard all year didn't even get a end of the year banquet like even the cheapest pop Warner teams get. The company and managers are a joke. I would honestly think twice before bringing your kids here.

We just wanted her to have an activity after school that would burn some energy. But my complaints are that the gym seems dirty and run down. I'm sure (hope?) they clean but it just seems run down. The girls bathroom is dirty/dinghy and always smells like a clogged toilet. I feel like the administrative/customer service side of things, they aren't 100% on top of it. They are slow to respond to emails, or just don't send their emails when they say they will. My other daughter that was going through evals to move up; the coach said they would email us and let us know her scores and if she was moving up or not, and we just never got an email from anyone. I've also heard from friends that they are not inclusive to autistic kids or kids with Down syndrome- stating they "don't have insurance for THAT." Don't really want to give my money to a gym that refers to kids in such a way. Also read up on some allegations about the owner that I would encourage others to look into.

I reported then to USAG and local police. There are now I believe 7 reports filed by CGC employee coaches with USAG of the coach AND owner JJ touching girls inappropriately. There is also an extensively researched news report detailing the owners behavior as observed first hand by other coaches.. Please please..... choose your child's mental health and long term joy over any one gym... much less one with so many reported inappropriate behaviors. Girls who experience inappropriate behaviors are affected for life... even when they observe it. Also, another owner, Kevin, whom I reported the behavior to, failed to report it to the police and CPS as required by law and strongly defended Derek who was later arrested and is no longer sanctioned by USAG thanks to a brave victim. If you're wondering what to do today and tomorrow with your kids they are having a sale of $10 open…read moregym play 12pm-4pm and $5 each friend you bring along I believe (I've attached the flyer) before coming make an account online with the point loma location and put your kid(s) and ages for a smooth transaction They also host parents nights, and are offering summer camps I've always felt welcome here to tire my little out the staff is pretty friendly And there are alot of things for your kids to do alot of equipment to climb on like balancing beams, slides, trampolines, bars to hang onto Reminds of a mini Ninja warrior set There's also a portion of the playground for smaller kids with an obstacle course and ballpit There's seating with a table for parents who need to do work, and seating along the sidelines so you can watch your Littles from afar, if you do want to get onto the floor you have to take your shoes off so I suggest socks for parents :) and maybe grip socks for the little ones (no shoes allowed can also not wear them as well) They also have a bathrooms and a changing room, cubbys for your things and a lost and found just incase I also sign up for the emails of when they host kid events and have discount specials on gym freeplay!

She was about to faint being sooo hot in there I had to take her outside the good thing she came to me telling me she didn't feel good she was drinking water. I will not be enrolling her again. I feel it's common sense to open the garage gate when you see may people inside.

While the instructors seemed competent, they were clearly overwhelmed--far too many students per coach, which severely limited individual support unless you paid for private sessions. However, the most troubling experience was financial. I was assured by the owner that the charges for three months (over $300) would be refunded once the Regional Center--whom I was working with--paid for my daughter's sessions. I agreed to pay upfront in good faith, fully expecting the refund once the third party handled the cost. After the Regional Center completed payment, the refund never came. I reached out multiple times over the course of a year, only to receive vague excuses about "budget issues." Eventually, it became clear that the owner had no intention of returning the money. This wasn't a delay--it was a blatant refusal. Holding onto funds that were supposed to be reimbursed feels unethical at best, fraudulent at worst. I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to any family.
