They were great at giving me options, I like options and I like understanding what my options are. They do a great job at educating their patience on best vs worst case scenarios. Their office also does a great job at giving their cost to their patience. I love transparent companies. My entire experience was great from their front desk people to the dental assistants, to the actual M.d. This is a company that still believes in welcoming each client with a smile. I visited Dr Barney again yesterday 5-12-21 (Wednesday) because that same tooth was bugging me again 5 months later, when I accidentally bit something a little too hard. There is no other Dentist I would trust so I went back to see him. The x ray showed I cracked my tooth this time. Dr Barney suggested which I agreed to have it removed and put an implant in replacement of the molar under the bridge instead of doing a root canal which means more out of pocket. -I will brag about this Endodontist over and over again because there aren't too many dentist who really care or are honest. This office is amazing. Literally everyone in the office. I had trouble getting coverage with my Insurance. Leslie at the front desk told me that I was actually covered for a procedure when my insurance told me that I was not. Also, Dr. K took his time to explain exactly what was wrong with my tooth and how it could be fixed and how to take care of it in the long run. From checking us in as new patients months ago, to remembering us at out umpteenth rescheduling appt to finally getting the work completed. Dr. Hales is so awesome!!! They were able to squeeze me in *same day* for the initial consult, and then got me in shortly thereafter to have the work done. The front office is great, and they helped me navigate some trickiness with my dental insurance to ensure I got the best deal. Dr. Tonioli and Heidi were nothing short of awesome! They are friendly, let you know exactly what they are doing to keep you in the know while the procedure is underway, and just made it fun (as fun as you can make a root canal, lol) with great conversation. Let me start out by saying...I can't believe I'm giving a 5 star rating after JUST having had a root canal. I'm sure like everyone else, it was normal for me to experience high anxiety prior to having it done. I'm so grateful for the good experience I just had...Dr Hale and his assistant Kai, we're both fantastic! I also have to give a shout out to his ENTIRE staff, honestly, I don't know what he does or how he chooses his employees, but it is impressive! They are all so friendly, one of them called me today after they left me a message asking if I could come early and if I couldn't no worries. She and I had a brief conversation on the phone while my meeting was going on in the background, so in her haste to let me get back to my meeting she hung up a little prematurely. When I arrived at the office she came out and apologized, but said she was going to call me back, but knew I was in a meeting so she figured she'd see me in an hour. First, she did not even need to apologize and I appreciated her understanding of me being in a meeting. I love their online filing of paperwork in advance, super helpful so I could do it from home and not have to write. Before Dr Hale came in today to start my procedure, I shared with Kai (his assistant) my anxiety, to which she looked at my record and eased my mind based on my case. She said the worst part for me will be the anesthesia. Which we all hate shots, but Dr Hale did a great job with little pain, from Kai's earlier information, once that was over I knew it would be downhill from there. Dr Hale, from my first consultation to the actual service was so pleasant and explained/answered very well, any of my questions and when it was all done, provides his patients his cell number if they have any questions or pain afterwards. (He even has great music always playing) Let me summarize by saying if you have anxiety about a root canal...he's your guy. I needed three root canals in three weeks. A very stressful and painful time! Dr. Tonioli was wonderful, and he does excellent work. He even took the time after one appointment to recommend a dentist for me in my area. And he doesn't recommend unnecessary root canals, he wants to make sure you need it. Dr. Hale and his assistant were more concerned about the office gossip then how I was doing. I have TMJ and he didn't care he just left my jaw open as wide as possible for about and hour. I'm in more pain now than I was before I went. I will not be going back to them again. They also do not take your crown off before they do a root canal. I'm in more pain then before my root canal and I have to get my crown replaced from my dentist. read more

I was referred to see Dr Hales to have a root canal retreated as well as another tooth that also needed bleaching. When you walk in to their office, the staff is all friendly and presentable and actually talk to you while you are waiting. It's a very comfortable environment and with not knowing what to expect I was a little nervous. The assistant who was taking care of me was very mindful of my comfort, talkative, and kept the appointment going instead of letting me sit and wonder what was happening next. Was referred by my dentist yesterday for an emergency root canal. I was having major anxiety to say the least. Even the receptionist picked up on me not being okay, face mask and all... The entire office as a whole was amazing, from scheduling an emergency appointment within a few hours to the actual procedure then leaving with a free comical shirt they designed . They were patient, kind and truly cared about my mental state as well as my physical pain. Physically the entire root canal took less than an hour, including x rays, procedure and check out. They made sure I was completely taken care of, they asked questions, gave me options and explained things entirely.I felt no pain what so ever and today I woke up with little to no procedure pain, as I was told I would have. I want to appreciate the staff including the front end administrator. I had an emergency seen my dentist who then referred me to Superstition Springs. Honestly before I arrived I was playing in my head the upselling/bandaid placement that most locations have or will do. The staff immediately took me back and approached me with options. The minute I settled my options they proceeded to deliver what I call excellence. So short story I have had trauma to my mouth and very selective on who works on me. The Doctor literally numbed the area. Oh and I mean the area how many times have you had your face completely numb several hours after. This was just the area and no issues when I left. Mind you my pain levels were high and didn't feel the process as they continued to complete said task. I want to personally thank you to the team. I will recommend to even my own Mom. I HATE going to the dentist. I would rather give myself a lobotomy with an ice pick than go...but alas, I had a tooth in desperate need of a root canal. They got me in right away with Dr. Barney and it was the least painful (absolutely zero pain) experience I have ever had at a dentist's office. Normally I'm left with some serious PTSD after going...If I could make this dude my dentist for all dental work I would in a heartbeat...and I might actually treat my teeth better.
