This store is probably closed, such a bummer. I went in on the second to last day and had a great time.

I find treasures occasionally! The store is looking better now that it's remodeled. Cheers!

Great selection of items at fair price. All profits go towards helping men and women struggling with addiction.

Good prices on clothing, but the furniture is ridiculously overpriced. $79 dollars for a beat-up coffee table? Cheaper options elsewhere.

But I will say the male employees are significantly nicer than the females. Every female employee here seems to hate their job and lets it show in how they treat customers.

The first time she stated in flat directive tone that I could not have my service dog in her carrier in the shopping cart, I have neuropathy in both hands, but she told me to carry her or I would have to leave. Today I brought a rolling pet carrier and my service dog barked one time at kids that were running/playing and screaming, I told a different worker that my service dog probably thinks the kids were distressed. Shannon approached me shortly after, asked if my dog was service dog, and told me "no excessive barking" I tried to explain she had only barked once at kids running and being loud, she said one more time and I would have to leave that barking more than once is excessive barking. I told her I felt targeted by her and I used to be able to shop there in peace without being harassed. Now I have to find another store to donate and shop at because I feel 'patrolled' and targeted by Shannon.

Visiting this shop is fun just for seeing the lovely old historic home, but they also have a lot of very good merchandise, from jewelry to kitchen items and knick-knacks to clothing, including designer labels. Everything is very fairly priced, and marked down every week or so, if you're willing to take the gamble and wait for markdowns. It is run by volunteers and provides income for a non-profit, so on top of getting good bargains in a very fun shopping environment, and reusing and recycling perfectly good items, you are also contributing to a worthy cause. It is affiliated with Encore Consignment, the sister shop to Daue. Encore carries furniture, books, artwork, etc. also at very fair prices, also generating income for the same non-profit, and also using the same periodic markdown on prices, also staffed by volunteers, and just a block or so away. Definitely recommend.

Lots of nice things--housewares, jewelry, some clothes and shoes--that have an interesting mark down system depending on how long they've been there for. Found a nearly new pair of Bearpaw boots for $25 and an amazing ~60s era dress and duster marked down to $25. Awesome spot, do yourself a favor and swing by here!
