It's scammers like y'all that make my blood boil. You take individuals who actually need a service dog and make them think that an ESA is the same thing. And that ESAs can go anywhere when in reality they only have access legally in regards to housing and lodging and anywhere where pets are permitted. In fact the legal definition of an ESA is a pet whose presence provides comfort no training required. Real service animals are required by law to be basic obedience trained l, public access trained, and task trained (meaning trained to perform at least one specific task that aids the handler with their disability). The handler also is required a doctor's note recommending the handler obtain a trained service dog (should be noted the handler can perform the training with the animal themselves so long as the training is done) organizations like yours turn honest people into accidental federal felons read more

I have been using Support Pets for the past two years and I have had no issues with apartments accepting my ESA documents while I was living in Florida. However, I'm in the process of finding an apartment in Tampa, and lot of their apartments are using a third-party app (PetScreening) and only accepting ESA documents from live face-to-face evaluations from a healthcare professional. This pretty much rendered my ESA documents worthless. When I informed Support Pets of my situation, they graciously gave me a refund! I knowing that I can take her anywhere, but unfortunately, I was not able to use this because she has a dog sitter that actually she sits with when I out of town. And she loves her dog sitter. The price is high, but they are so many great things you can get having this for your fur baby. It just was not meant for me to have at the moment. Several months ago I started received repeated emails alerting me of my impending annual expiration. Each time I replied that my dog passed in January and would no longer need the service. The emails kept coming. I received yet another email today regarding upcoming expiration. Again, I replied as stated above. The agent today responded that a note would be forwarded to the appropriate division in order to stop the emails, which is the same reply I had received from other agents previously. He has texted me to let me know that the issue was resolved in a timely manner and when the bundle was actually shipped. My experience at first wasn't good I applied at these apartments and they told me the letter was a fake I immediately got in touch with support pets who got me a letter as well as a little refund. Hopefully the letter works and my esa booboo can live with me otherwise we're both going to be homeless and no money . Bit they did a good job.
