I booked two reservations to this shuttle company for a work conference I was going to attend per the conference's recommendation on their website. I wish I had read reviews prior to booking because even before I went on my trip I tried to cancel one of my reservations and this company proved to be run by incompetents. The first time I called to cancel, the man I spoke with told me he had canceled it and to wait 5-7 business days for my refund, even though their webpage says "Refund will normally show on your credit card account within 3-5 business days." Still I waited 7 full business days and no return so I decided to call them again. I then learned that my reservation was never canceled so the girl I spoke with said she would cancel it. I let another 7 full business days go buy and still no return. I called back a third time and the man I spoke to said the women in charge of refunds was in a meeting and offered to take down my information to give to her and she could call me back. I called a fourth time at the end of that day as I did not receive a return call. The girl I spoke with said that the women had already left for the day and that I should call the next morning at 9 am. I called a fifth time the next morning, kindly explained the situation, to which the women asked me when I last called to request a refund and I told her 7 days prior and she told me that I should wait up to 10 business days. After telling her I've been waiting many business days, she informs me that the people in charge of refunds were working on them that particular week and that I should wait until the following week. I began to get frustrated because it had been over 3 weeks since my first attempt to cancel this reservation (and they happened to be working on refunds that week?) so I emphasized that I had called several days ago and waited weeks and she reiterated to me in a hostile tone that I needed to wait at least 10 business days and when I hopelessly replied "ok" she hung up on me, which I thought was extremely rude. So after waiting until the next week per the rude lady's instructions, I still did not receive a refund. At that point I called my bank and within two days I had an adjustment balance on my credit card for the amount of the shuttle reservation cost, thanks to my bank. When I went on my trip and still used the other reservation I had made and my experience was different. The wait for the shuttle at the airport was about 15 minutes and when I got picked up at my hotel for my return to the airport, the shuttle arrived a little early. Both shuttle drivers to and from the airport were fine and efficient. The only thing I'll note was that the driver on our way back to the airport drove a little erratic and when we got to a stop light, he rolled down his window to ask a taxi driver why he was driving so bad. Other than that funny/odd interaction between the shuttle driver and the taxi driver, everything was adequate and smooth. In the end, this company appears to have it together when it comes to getting people where they need to be, but when it comes to getting your money back, they lack any decent customer service, and for that reason, if I'm ever in need of a shuttle in Baltimore again, I'll book with a different company because I'd like the option to cancel and smoothly get my money back if necessary. read more

Airport shuttle you can book right at a counter at the airport. Cost the same as other shuttles I've taken to Annapolis from BWI. Uses a different computer than the other service. Seems lower tech than the SuperShuttle. The driver sat at the airport manually typing in all the addresses into a GPS unit. Car was clean. Mini van style vehicle. Driver was courteous and kind. It really is not worth it to use this service. They have several cars but pack people going to different states into the same car. I was in the car for 2 hours with only two other people in the car, and traffic was not that bad. Vans were sitting outside for 30+ minutes while I waited at BWI but yet we still have to stop for gas after pick up. Unless you want to be waiting all night or get a driving tour of all of the DMV before you get dropped off, do ANYTHING other than using this service. read more

DONT BOOK WITH THEM. It appears that Supreme Airport Shuttle bought Maryland Shuttle after we had already booked with M.S. We made and received our confirmation MONTHS before our October flight. Neither company made the effort to contact customers about the buy out, or let customers know that SAS does not travel to BWI (which were were told via phone well after the fact). Our pick up was supposed to be 3am going to DCA and return from BWI. No one showed up or called at 3am. At 3:30 we decided to drive ourselves, knowing we were coming back from BWI but really had no other choice in order to arrive on time. During our drive my wife called several times with no answer and when we were safely checked in we got online, emailed, filled out their contact form and called several more times. No responses whatsoever. While we were out of the country and we checked emails, voicemails, nothing. A week later once we get back in the states we call and speak to a really unprofessional individual that refused to give us his or his managers name (or number) and said we were not in the system. Mind you we received a confirmation email, number AND were charged. During this time we were working on changing our flight back to DCA to get our car and had to call them back. After we booked a DCA return we called to confirm that they were not going to need a pickup from BWI. The guy (different person) said "Oh we wouldnt have come to get you because we dont service BWI". This is when we found out that they (MS) were bought out SAS. Really is that how to run a business and treat customers? We are now out around $400 because of the charges we occurred having to drive and make changes to our flights. Yes we could have found a cab or flown back to BWI but because of our business schedule we could not afford to deal with those delays. Everything about my experience with Supreme Airport Shuttle was AWFUL. The business reeks of having underpaid and poorly treated employees and I wish they would re-group or shut down. Details below. My plane was late, I missed the last train from DCA to Union Station (to catch the MARC to Baltimore). I followed the sign to Transportation INFORMATION and the disgruntled incommunicative woman in the bright yellow shirt started my order. It was slippery at worst (I was asking about options to get to Baltimore, she took advantage and counted it as a sale), but I let it go and booked a trip. After all, the price was right and a van was on its way. So she said. She also said to wait on a specific bench. No pointing to said bench. No sign on said bench. When I returned to clarify which magic bench, she waved her arm. 20 minutes later I asked just when she thought the van would arrive, and was I at the right bench? It's on its way. I asked to clarify what that meant. 5 minutes? 30 minutes? It's on its way! Communication skills: 0 Customer service: 0 I was not alone. That would make me feel better, until I realized we would all be grouped in the same van, making my ever more-delayed trip that much longer. But I sucked it up, let out a breath and sat in the van waiting for the 3 DC dropoffs and the 1 BWI dropoff before me. Nothing I could do now. The driver did not speak English. The driver had difficulty reading a map. We spent long periods of time halfway pulled over so he could scroll up and down on his map-order-guide. He took forever to find the first stop. Stopping in traffic, changing lanes haphazardly & without turn signals. We get to the first stop and he opens the door. No one gets out. Turns out, he read the instructions wrong. We're on the wrong side of town at a hotel where no one is staying. Fine. We make the stops and on the way to BWI, it starts to lightly rain. It's after midnight. I'm watching the driver - he's actually falling asleep. He veers into the next lane upon one of his snoozes and the driver behind honks, which fortunately, wakes him up. I take to interrupting his sleep to keep his eyes on the road. Rude? When the last woman before me gets off at BWI, she looks me in the eye and says: Good Luck. To make sure I'm not delusional, I say "He's swerving all over the place and falling asleep, right?" She says "OH yeah." I ask the driver if he'd like to go inside and get a cup of coffee. He doesn't understand me, I pantomime coffee. He says don't worry, he has something and takes some pills out of an advil or some such bottle. It doesn't get better. The drop off was bad too. I wasn't going to the best neighborhood, but I would feel safer on the street than in his van. I asked him to drop me off at the corner, and he rolled down the window and hesitated - here? I was going to a place across the street. With his clueless lingering, we attracted some homeless people who are now at his window trying to get money. He doesn't know what to do and keeps slowly rolling along with this person. I want out so badly I could cry. For the first time I am stern with him and say Take me to that corner, open the door and let me get out. It was awful. Completely terrible. They should be ashamed. In the annals of bad reviews, "they could have killed me" ranks as the worst possible outcome of any review. With a van full of passengers, including myself and my girlfriend, our driver clearly should not have been behind the wheel as he fell asleep at a red light. I posted this to the shuttle service's Facebook wall. A version of this was also emailed to email address on their website, which I'm sure is a black hole nobody reads anyway. ## To whom it may concern: I literally just walked in the door just now and am writing this email because of how furious I am that our driver, with a van full of people, including myself, my girlfriend, and five others, clearly should not have been driving at all and could have killed us. We traveled from Dulles in van 204. I sat in the back with the driver's face in full view of the rear view mirror. He appeared to be very tired with eyes that were barely open, which led me to believe the driver was driving impaired, either from a lack of sleep or worse. My worst fears were confirmed when his eyes closed and his head dropped into sleep while we were at a red light just inside the District. Luckily, we were only a few blocks from our destination, however, four more people were still in that death trap. No. Just, no. I got into DCA around 11 pm, and the metro was single-tracking. I decided to try this company out, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business anywhere in the world. When the shuttle finally came, the driver was terrible at communicating, and tried to fit TEN passengers into a shuttle designed to hold a max of SEVEN with seatbelts. I'm pretty sure that's not legal? Anyhow, after sitting in the shuttle waiting for a family with 3 or 4 kids try to get their luggage in, I made the best decision of my life: getting the **** out of the shuttle and taking an Uber instead. 14 dollars down the drain (the receptionist promised me that she cancelled the charge, but of course it showed up on my credit card), but judging from the reviews below, it sounds like it was worth the loss. read more

This company is a total SCAM! They were listed on the MWAA page, so I thought they were a legitimate, vetted company. How wrong I was. I called the number listed on the MWAA page to make a reservation to be picked up the next day. First they said they would pick me up at 1:10 for my 4 pm flight, then they said 1:30. Hesitantly I made a reservation and they requested my cc info. When I asked if I was being charged, they said not until the next day. Then they told me that I was being picked up at 1:10. When I asked for clarification, they said between 1:10 and 1:30. OK. I decided it wouldn't cost much more to pay and park at the airport and wouldn't have to leave so early, so I called to cancel the next morning at 7 am. they said they would refund my card. Apparently they had already charged it. When I told the operator I was not told they would charge it before the ride (Super Shuttle and every other shuttle I've been on never has), he said it must've been a new employee who didn't know, but that my card would be refunded. Now a few days later I see that I was shorted $5 on the refund. I called them, thinking they had made an error, but they said something like "the website clearly states that a $5 fee will be withheld" for a refund. Well, neither of the two people I talked to said that. The MWAA webpage did not state that. It is a very dishonest practice to play "gotcha" with customers. I was told to call back on Monday to talk to the manager. Curious, I went to the company website. Under Cancellations, it clearly states "Contact us regarding your change in travel plans at least 3 hours prior to your pick-up time and we will provide a full refund." This same information is repeated under FAQs. So i called back, and read her what the website said. She put me on hold and told me the same thing about the $5, trying another "gotcha" and saying that under the "TOS" there was the fine print about $5, and that if I was unhappy I needed to call back on Monday. I couldn't find anything about this on the website. Just more statements about being provided a full refund with at least 3 hours notice. Now, my time is worth a lot more than $5. But on principle, I will not let this stand. This company is purely and simply scamming people, lying about some nonexistent policy. Bad business practices - waiting over 2 months for my refund! Had to have my credit card company step in to assist. The next step is the BBB if it's not resolved. The site says a refund will be granted as long as the cancellation is made at least 3 hours in advance. Cancelled my reservation well within that time frame. Even though the customer service representative REMEMBERED CANCELLING MY RIDE and CONFIRMED I WOULD BE REFUNDED, her word and mine was not enough to receive funds. Things that happened on my TWO HOUR trip from Dulles to downtown: 1) The 10 minute wait is actually a 30 minute wait. 2) The driver is straight up texting and driving. 3) The driver is fiddling with his tablet, again, while driving. 4) The driver blows through a red light which he had plenty of time to stop for. Saturday night, busy airport. wanting to pay half the price of the Washington Flyer monopoly that controls taxi service, a d having had disappointing experienced with the Super Shuttle in the past, I opted for the new guys on the block. Told that the van would depart in 15 min and I would only pay $29, how bad could it be? Still faster than the Metro express bus, and a bit easier, I thought. no such luck. Supposedly engine problems with the van had delayed my departure, some 45 minutes later. But there was actually no driver, and other people sat on the bus for an hour, waiting with no word. We pre-booked our shuttle online to take us from Dulles airport to Washington DC before I checked the very bad reviews.. Very unusual for me, but we were pleased with our experience. It took us 45 minutes to get from the arrivals terminal, by train to the main terminal to collect our luggage, and get to the ground transportation, but the transportation desk is well staffed and very efficiently run. We confirmed our transfer and were given a transfer number and asked to wait for our shuttle. It did take 15 minutes before our driver called our number, but we were quickly on the van and on our way to DC. The trip is about 50 minutes, so make sure you allow enough time to get to your hotel / appointment. If you need to get to DC quicker than that, you need to look at a taxi or private ride option. Our driver was courteous and drove very safely. We were very happy with the service overall. read more

There is all sorts of unspoken etiquette when riding as a passenger in a taxi, uber, shuttle, etc. The person that should be the most perceptive/respectful of that etiquette is the driver. My husband and I accidentally took Supreme Shuttle instead of Super Shuttle (my husband's fault) from Dulles to DC recently. It was a packed shuttle with a diverse load, in terms of nationality, age and gender. That didn't stop the driver from making uncomfortable jokes about politics, race, sexuality, special needs, etc. It was painful. Every time he would drop a passenger off, he would just transition to conversing with the next closest person to him so he was loudly speaking the entire time. I recently requested a Supreme Airport Shuttle when the people at the airport mentioned that this was a great and cheap way to get from the airport to my hotel in the Waterfront area of Baltimore. Why did I forget that Yelp can be extraordinarily helpful in giving me the actual truth of the situation? I was staying at a new Marriott hotel; the front desk attendant at the airport spelled my name wrong (after I gave him my driver's license) - no big deal - but then put in the wrong address of the hotel. No big deal, either - fortunately I wasn't in a huge hurry - but it did take 90 minutes to get into Baltimore when usually, at a non-rush hour time, it should take between 25 - 35 minutes. The night before, I cancelled my return trip with Supreme Shuttle that I had booked 3 days prior, since there was no way I would make it on time. I only was refunded $18 of the $23 I paid. A Uber ride in rush hour traffic only cost $22. Take Uber or Lyft and avoid this company - they're terribly run. read more

I'll generously give supreme 3 stars because it did get me to my destination at a reasonable price but had a couple of gripes. Our driver was pretty lethargic in his demeanor and also driving. He had no sense of urgency, which would seem essential in this business. Also, the driver and another customer got into a verbal argument which made things awkward. Decided to try a shared shuttle and saw these guys instead of Super Shuttle so have them a try. $33 bucks and 15 minutes later I am in a clean shuttle w 3 others. SUPREME came to my aid when I needed a ride from DCA to Leesburg. Their fare was reasonable, and their driver was on time. Driving was good, not aggressive. He was courteous, helped me with my luggage at both ends, and provided me with no stress at all. I would recommend them, and use them again. read more

The two of us were at BWI and wanted to use this shuttle service to go to Gaithersburg. The man at the counter told us it would be $42. That sounded really good as Uber would cost about $60. I gave the man my credit card and he rang up the charge. As we waited for the shuttle, the man at the counter told me he made a mistake. $42 was the charge to go from Reagan to Gaithersburg. BWI-Gaithersburg would be about $60-$70 (so more than Uber or Lyft). I told him that was too much and I wanted to cancel. He said no problem and appeared to do something about it. I asked for a cancellation receipt and he assured me he had put in for a refund, but the system did not have the ability to print the cancellation receipt, so he wrote "cancelled, refund 3-4 days" on my $42 receipt. More than 2 weeks later, the refund had still not been recorded by my credit card company, so I called Supreme back. Somebody named Paula answered the phone, and told me they had to wait for me to call in before issuing the refund !!! WHY? BECAUSE I MIGHT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND NO LONGER WANTED MY REFUND? Anyway, she assured me she was putting in the refund now, and I should see it in a few days. My conversation with Paula happened 16 days ago. Still no refund posted. I had to call my credit card company today to have the charge reversed. This is a lot of headache and wasted time for me for $42. So by design they wanted their customers to give up out of exhaustion. I see situations similar to mine reported on TripAdvisor about Supreme Airport Shuttle. So, beware. read more

Terrible service. I made a reservation online only to discover at the airport that important information was not provided on this company's website. Having a reservation only means that you have paid in advance. It does not mean that there is a shuttle for you. Also, this company's sign at the airport tells you to go to door 9. Actually, you have to go to a kiosk near door 9 to check in so that then you can be told to wait for half an hour. I wish I could give this company a zero star. I had an impromptu business trip and my usual driver was booked. With family and friends unavailable I used the yelp app, because hey, it's 2013 and there's an app for everything right? Anyway, booking was very easy and straight forward. The driver called me about twenty minutes before pickup and arrived at my location 5 minutes before pickup time. The driver assisted me with my luggage even though I packed light. I was dropped off in front of the right airline and I was on my way. Can't really complain or ask for more. Driver did a lot of small talk, which I'm sure some people would appreciate, but I'd rather just listen to some music. I had to quickly travel - to catch a connecting flight - from Washington Dulles (IAD) to Reagan Intl Airport (DCA) on Wednesday, 10Feb. I paid for a shuttle ride at 14:44, was told we would leave at 15:04. I wasn't seated in a van until 15:14, and we didn't leave until 15:33, almost causing me to miss the second flight. And to add misery to the already bad situation, the van driver (Garrick, #4009) had very loud Christian musing playing the entire ride. Bottom line, avoid Supreme Shuttle at all costs. Only use Super Shuttle and you will never be disappointed. How can they continue in business when they provide such terrible service? read more

I second the poor reviews here. I booked a ride with them upon arriving at Dulles airport at 7pm, and left the airport with 3 other passengers about 20 minutes later -- not good, but not terrible. That would be the highlight of my experience with Supreme Shuttle. Driver got lost going to first stop in McLean, Va, and the other two passengers going to the District who got dropped off before me were in completely different neighborhoods. Took 2 hours to get to my hotel in southwest DC -- would have been much faster for me to take the airport bus to the Metro and trained it in. I called when I returned home to ask for a refund, and was told by a supervisor that I would receive one. A week later I hadn't seen the credit, so i called again today, and was told in fact that I would not receive a refund since "I was delivered to my destination." So apparently Supreme Shuttle thinks a 2-hour ride from Dulles to Washington is acceptable service. (And I understand that group shuttles take longer than a taxi and sometimes you have to accept being the last stop -- I ride them frequently. This was the worst experience I've ever had with one.) read more

Today at around 4 pm, I took a Supreme Shuttle driven by a man named Mamsik who should not be licensed to drive a van (or at all). Among other problems, Mamsik: - ran a cyclist off the road - made a left turn and was nearly hit by oncoming traffic - repeatedly drove too fast and had to brake to avoid hitting the car ahead - was unable to follow directions provided by his GPS - was unable to follow directions provided by passengers I tried to contact Supreme Shuttle about this, but no one answered either their 1-800 number or their local number. I've written to Dulles Ground Transportation at http://www.metwashairports.com/net/EmailForm.aspx?to=IAD%20Ground%20Transportation&toaddress=iadgroundtransportation. Other people with similar experiences should contact them as well. It sounds like this is a problem with more than one Supreme Shuttle driver. HORRIBLE. 9 people plus a toddler crammed into a van with seats for 7. 90 minutes to go 4 miles. The driver had no idea where we were going. The local folks on my shuttle were about to riot. Called "customer service" to see about getting a refund...... seemed to be more concerned about devaluing my experience than in making me a happy customer. Oh.... and the folks at the ticket counter handed me off to the driver and when we got to the shuttle he asked for my "ticket". I said all I got was a receipt so he dragged me back inside to make sure I wasn't trying to "get over on him". They pointed me out, in a reasonably empty waiting room, to the driver. When we finally got to my hotel he asked me which bag was mine. I told him and reached for it to which he held on to it and said "are you sure?". Had an unprecedented experience: 1. Waited 40 minutes from point of purchase to departure 2. Driver blasted religious soft rock the entire journey (despite request to turn down) 3. Driver drove under the speed limit the whole time 4. Driver made multiple precarious/dangerous maneuvers (he should not be on the road) 5. Driver blasted heat the whole time after asking passengers at the beginning whether they would like heat and was told unanimously they did not 6. Driver got lost and ultimately couldn't get beyond the first destination - I had to walk 20 minutes in the rain to my house WOW! DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL WITH THIS SERVICE. If a rating of zero was possible I would give it. They charge the same rates as Super Shuttle and provide about a tenth of the quality of service. My shuttle left 20 minutes after it was scheduled to do so. It took me to Maryland when I was travelling to DC. The driver informed me that they typically have DC, MD, and VA vans so he was surprised I was put in his MD van, with 3 MD drop-off and then me, 10 miles south into the District...1.5 hours after I left IAD. This was the middle of the day without traffic. It should have taken half that time. Oh and the driver was not checking before switching lanes so we were almost hit twice. I called customer service to file a refund claim and was told that a manager would call me back to discuss my issue. This did not occur. I called back two days later to see if the agent on the phone could process my refund and they took my credit card information and assured me they could. I called 4 business days later and they said it was already processed. After it did not show up on my credit card statement I emailed them to say I had filed a fraud claim. Only then did I get a manager's response saying I had been denied a refund. I called and left messages for this manager twice and she never returned my calls to discuss the situation. TERRIBLE customer service. TERRIBLE driving service. This business will be out of service before 2013. read more

Just learned an interesting lesson today. Working a lounge at Dulles we had a young Marine needing to get to Quantico. Took him down to Supreme Shuttle who says they charge $125 to get him there. That seem high as it used to cost $75 but we heard that a special price expired and I guessed it did. Two hours pass and another young Marine comes in and needs the shuttle to Quantico. This time I take him to Super Shuttle instead of Supreme Shuttle. SUPER Shuttle say $76 if he'll share the ride. The Marine wisely chooses Super Shuttle I speak to a "gentleman" at Supreme Shuttle and ask him how he can charge a young Marine $125 to get to Quantico when Super Shuttle charges $76. He says that he quotes the price and if the Marines don't like it they can go to Super Shuttle. And I hope they do. I AM NOT A FAN OF SUPREME SHUTTLE ANYMORE and highly suggest one uses SUPER SHUTTLE INSTEAD. An earlier post said that they hope Supreme Shuttle goes out of business. When my flight landed at 5 am, I was at a loss because the trains were not open on a Sunday that early. I opted to take this over the super shuttle. For the most part, despite the bad reviews and my anticipation of a bad experience, it wasn't too bad. That being said, I had to intervene in order for it to not be bad. When I got to the counter at the airport, the agent told me it would be twenty minutes for the next shuttle to take off, it was 25 minutes. Okay 5 Minutes late, not too bad. Another problem I had was when I looked at my receipt, I noticed the drop off address was wrong, like wrong number and wrong street . I went up to the agent and told him and he told me it did not mater as it was more the zip code that needed to be right. I was confused, but went with it. Super shuttle has it all in the computer, not in a receipt so I figured it might be the same system. The can compared to the super shuttle was not as nice and seemed more run down, but it did it's job. It seemed to have more luggage space than seat though, where as the super shuttle has more seats then luggage space. When we all got in, we had one person that needed to go to the airport at DCA and the rest in down town DC. Given her flight was at 9am and it was only 545 am, I wished they dropped us off first since the three other stops were in a 2 mile radius. But that is a preference thing. It took us 45 min to drop her off at DCA from Dulles, which was good timing being 630 am. He then proceeded to drop off another person at a hotel near the White House. The next drop off was only two block away, but the ticket agent back at the airport took down the wrong address and we went 1-2 miles down the road, passing my place by a few blocks. After realizing the mistake and getting the correct address I pulled from my phone for him, we were able to drop of the next lady. Knowing the ahem punched in my address wrong on the receipt, I let the driver know. Luckily there was no traffic because I can imagine a mistake like this could be a 30 min drop off difference! I arrived at my apartment about a little over an hour after getting in the shuttle. I can't complain compared to others experience but I have to say the lack of correct information be in passed in and communication really is a shame for a transportation company. read more

I took this shuttle service this morning from DULLES. The scariest experience of my life. It took the clerks more than 30 minutes to honor my reservation and figure out how to accept payment Once, I finally got in a shuttle, it was clear that the driver had no idea. He even asked me to enter my own address in his GPS, did not know how to go to a major area in Rockville. During the trip, he was driving erratically, at time 20 mph on the beltway. He thought he had to further south did not know that he had to go North despite the signs indicating Maryland is North.. Several times, I pleaded loudly with him to get off the road and drop me off. He refused and instead raised the radio volume. Several friends have encouraged me to press criminal charges. I am still considering this. I travel frequently for business and often use shuttle services. I cannot stress enough that my driver was dangerous and scary. The clerks at the airport incompetent. Now that Maryland shuttle is not in business, I will stick with Super Shuttle or a private taxi. read more
