The team took the time to walk me through various options and find the right solution for the space. The LVT looks fantastic, and I was especially impressed with the hardwood refinishing. They restored the old floors beautifully and achieved an excellent match with the existing wood flooring. Despite mixed flooring, they did an excellent job making the floor feel seamless and intentional throughout the apartment. Everyone I worked with was patient and professional throughout the process. Melissa was incredibly helpful with all of the co-op paperwork, which I especially appreciated since this was my first co-op renovation. Angelo was on time for the estimate and helped me work through different options and narrow down the right LVT samples. Dave was outstanding from early talks to managing the day-to-day work - he was communicative, responsive, and always willing to answer questions. He also helped select a stain that blended beautifully with the existing floors. All of the work crews were punctual, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Throughout the project, everyone at Spagnoli was incredibly accommodating and always took the time to address questions and concerns, making the renovation process much less stressful. I can't say enough about Buono's…read more I had heard good things about the company from other folks in my building, as well as on Yelp, and from the first moment I requested a quote through Yelp, Lou Buono was responsive, courteous, and an actual pleasure to communicate with. If you've worked with a lot of folks in the trades, this is very much the exception to the rule, and as such I was pleasantly surprised. Lou quickly got back to me with a very reasonable quote, and once we agreed on the details and a date, we were off and running. We had some damage and discoloration on our white oak floors, and we wanted to sand and refinish them. Lou was helpful as we got together the paperwork my building required to get it done. On the agreed upon day, his guys showed up on time, and while they weren't the excellent communicators that he is (their English wasn't great), they were conscientious and obviously knew what they were doing. Lou said the work would take 1-2 days, and they were done in just a day. We had a minor hiccup after the fact, but Lou immediately investigated the issue, and handled it well. I'll definitely be going straight to Buono's next time I need any flooring work done.

I learned later, with other craftsmen, that with correct tools and consideration of my desired outcome, it was not necessary to butcher my floors on their edges. This flooring company tore my floor up. I did try to go cheap so I went with them. I did not know that when we negotiated price, I negotiated away the sealant ti protect floors and allowance to butcher my floors. I was told back/forth 2/3 coats on floor. With/without sealant? Angel said 2 coats sealant. Soon dirt is well in the grains of wood. I know because I can see where a rectifying area was made with the sealant compared to everything that sticks with floor. I have question is it the @Bona #Bona product. My first rodeo. Fixing will cost me an entire 675 sq new floor. It aches my heart. I don't have that kind of money and I wanted a nice outcome. If I had been informed more, I would have work harder to have paid more instead to spend so much more now fix in a few years after I save to do it. Why are workers not honest?!!!! Please inform the consumer the cost of cutting price. I have regrets that will cost me now to redo and seal my floors, and more, if I want to resume my useable sq ftg because you ate it away to close the gaps you butchered. Please do not do this to another customer again. Just be honest even if you don't get the job. I am so hurt.

I spent a good part of a day researching tub reglazing, and checking online reviews of many different companies in the NYC area who would service Jersey City where I live. I finally stumbled upon Supreme Bath Refinishing. They had excellent reviews on Google, Yellow Pages, Facebook, and YELP. I figured these guys were my best bet. I was not wrong as it turned out I'm happy to say. Frank was quick with the estimate after I sent him some pictures of my clawfoot tub and pedestal sink (his price was in keeping with the other quotes I received). We set up an appointment for just a couple days later. His man, Alex showed up on time as scheduled. Frank sent me a PDF ahead of time with pictures of the 3 men who do his work which I appreciated when I recognized the guy standing at my door. He set to work right away and was quick and professional the whole way. He vented all the fumes out the window in the bath with an industrial fan and large flexible tube. I did't smell anything downstairs in my home at all while he was working. That was surprising! The finished results are very good and I am very happy with the service I received. After dealing with so many flaky and bad contractors so many times (why is it that "contracting" as an occupation selects for so many creepy, incompetent people?) it was such a surprise really to work with one who actually did what he claimed he could do - and did it well. My apologies to the 15% of you contractors out there who are reputable. I recommend Supreme Bath Refinishing to anyone who needs their old tub or sink made new (looking) again! I moved into my co-op last June 2019 and since then my management office had my bath tub re-glazed twice within the year. I found Supreme Bath Refinishing and discussed with Frank my issue; My drain area has bubbled up, the re-glazed was coming undone, and had cracks. Frank was very helpful, patience, informative on answering my list of questions. I had called in multiple times too! I expressed my concern with the drain area and to send his best guy to do the job. From my research, the prep work is very important and the also materials use like quality of paint makes a world of difference. Frank sent Alex, whom performed the job and my tub looks brand new! It was a clean, smoothed finished. My appointment was scheduled between 12:00-1:00pm, and Alex called me at around 11:00am. I was not prepared for him to come that early and he came at 12:00pm, so I must say he was punctual!! It took Alex about 2 hours plus to complete the job. Alex was very professional, mask my bathroom sink, toilet, tub tiles, faucets, shower head, and tile floor area. It was very important to me that everything was mask and in addition to have a venting machine to to ventilate the the fumes and paint dust. I contacted Supreme Bath Refinishing after seeing the stellar reviews on Yelp, and I was not disappointed. My bathtub was in very old condition and needed re-glazing. Frank was super friendly and professional whenever I spoke with him over the phone and email. More importantly, I have to deal with a very strict management office for approval for the re-glazing, and Frank was on top of the paperwork, and provided what the management office needed very quickly. On the day of the work being done, Alex arrived a little earlier which was great. He was friendly and professional just like Frank, and was happy to answer any questions I had. He did a great job covering everything in the bathroom, sealing up vents, and venting out the fumes from the bathroom. After he finished the work, I paid him with the agreed upon price that was set when I contacted Frank-- no funny business or added fees. Alex was great in that he only did what was needed- he did not try to sell me any additional work like many other contractors would. We essentially had our entire bathroom - walls, tub, and floors - re-done by Supreme. They did a great job and the process was simple. Frank was communicative over email and phone, including getting coop approval and insurance sent. The worker showed up on time both days and was very nice and efficient. There was a bit of miscommunication about when the worker would be done the second day, but not a big deal. And the results were amazing. Before, the bathroom was 70 years old and looked it - a hodgepodge of old cracked tiles and discolored grout. Bathtub caulk was coming off. It was gross. Now it looks sparkling clean and fresh. They even fixed tile cracks, re-filled grout where it had fallen out, and re-sealed the tub to the wall. It's not perfect, obviously, because refinishing can only do so much. But for the price, we're thrilled. It's like having a new bathroom. Would recommend. read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews but I'm so impressed by the work of this company that I decided to write one. This company did a fantastic job refinishing my tub. First off, Frank was very responsive to my emails and made coordinating the job easy. I had to coordinate everything from out-of-town so I really appreciate that Frank could accommodate the date when I will be in NY. I live in a co-op and he was very quick in sending over the information for the building management company. His technician, Alex arrived and got right to work. My tub which was finished by another company in the past had some of the lining peeling off after a few years. This time, I chose to go with Supreme Bath and opted to replace the tub stopper this time around. In a few hours, the old tub was back to being like new. i did some research,and saw all the great reviews for supreme bath refinishing.i called frank and he was very professional and honest. the price was very fair so i booked my refinishing. my refinisher alex was early for my appointment wich i really liked,he was a really nice guy and very professional. he told me he was going to make my tub and tiles look like new . i kind of laughed because my apartment bathroom was disgusting,tub was pealing, tiles looked terrible and worn out . I am truly impressed with this company. They are definitely my go to for reglazing. This will be my second time using Supreme Bath Refinishing and both times so far I must say they have done really neat job. I must say that the service is impeccable. Very professional, clean, works fast and on time. The original color of my tub was grey, and we wanted it white. We originally used another company to change the color from grey to white and that lasted approximately 2 years and then I found Supreme Bath and the first time the reglazed lasted over 5 years and would have lasted longer if I didn't used harsh abrasive cleaners to remove hair dye stains. If you are looking for a company to reglaze your tub, this is definitely the one. read more

I am very happy with the job. I hated how my old bathroom looked and felt. No matter how much I cleaned and scrubbed the tub and tiles, they still looked dirty. One day I was about to do a whole bathroom renovation when I found this company. Frank answered all my questions and gave me a great price. The guys did an excellent job. Supreme Bath was recommended by my contractor on our bathroom update. I was thinking of just refreshing the tub, but Frank recommended the whole bathroom with bath and wall tiles. So happy we did the whole thing....even though the tiles weren't in terrible condition..they would have looked pretty dull next to the new looking tub! Highly recommend this service. We were very happy with their work. Our bathroom has been dingy for years and very difficult to clean. We contacted Supreme Bath Refinishing and spoke to Frank about getting our shower stall tiles regrouted and the old bathtub reglazed. He answered many questions and supplied all the insurance forms that our building requires. The technician John did a wonderful job - he came on time, regrouted the tiles and then refinished the tub. No more missing, or dirty grout. The tub is old (from 1930) and was reglazed in the past. He removed 3 layers of paint! It looks like a new tub. This company is amazing!! I have used them 4 times now- twice for bathrooms in my own apartment and twice for bathrooms in an apartments we rent out. The prices are reasonable and the bathroom looks brand new. Their grouting and tile work is amazing- I didn't even recognize the tiles when they were finished! The bathtub reglazing is also amazing. I recently mistakenly used another competitor company and while the tub reglazing was ok they did not offer the grouting service and did not do non skid surfaces on the bathtub. We had Supreme Bath Refinishing reglaze our bathtub and 3 full walls of tile. The tiles and tub were Old, brown tile from about 40 years ago. Alex, the technician was courteous, arrived on time, did a great job cleaning the tiles and tub and then made the room look like new! I have a very old apartment that had a really awful bathroom with a cracked, yellowed tub and bad paintwork spattered and edged on battered wall tiles. I sent Frank some pics after finding Supreme well-reviewed on Yelp, and he made a good offer. His worker showed up precisely on time and made the place pretty splendid. There was a miscommunication as to whether I should paint the room before or after the tile job, so the work was a bit marred by tape when I then painted it. Frank was very professional, and polite on the phone, he clearly explained the process, and provided the quote. He booked a date and Aleks arrived on time to assess the claw foot tub. He prepared the space to ensure no excess was sprayed anywhere other than the tub, and started work. Frank was a complete professional. He showed up on time, worked quickly, efficiently, and did a good clean-up. The final results speak for themselves. It has been about a month now and the tub still is sparkling. I recommend him highly to anyone. A couple of notes: The smell of the glazing is extremely strong. I recommend staying away for the first few hours after he finishes. Do not have the windows open during the curing because dirt could land on the glazing. You must re-caulk the tub ASAP. Use only mild soap and water to clean. All of this will keep your tub looking wonderful. read more

I recently used Supreme Bath for tub reglazing and tile regrouting, and I must say, their customer service was outstanding. The staff was professional and ensured the job was done right. The tub and tiles turned out fantastic, looking brand new again. However, I found the floor cleaning to be just okay; I didn't notice a significant difference. I listened to the other reviews on Yelp and chose Frank. My building was a PIA but he hung in there. Alex came on the scheduled day...early! He was a delight. The outcome is remarkable. He sprayed the tub and the old pink tiles white in my 50"s bath but kept the black trim. I highly recommend it if you are thinking about it. FYI, I removed the sink and toilet and did a lot of cleanup before hand (removed the tub filler, pulled back all the escutcheons so he painted behind them, etc.) Alex was happy to work around it all and it looks very professional. :) read more

Very, very happy with their work! They did a great job fixing imperfections in the tile walls, regrouting, and glazing tub and walls. Everything looks fresh and beautiful. The technician, John, was professional, respectful, and fastidious in his work. The process was far less noisy and messy than expected. John kept everything clean. There was a small problem with the old black pattern showing through the white glaze on two tiles, but they came back promptly and fixed it. Frank was very courteous and responsive from the point of intital contact. When the technician didn't glaze the tub to my satisfaction, Frank was at my apartment in Manhattan (from Brooklyn) within an hour to view the job and set up another appointment to correct the work, and refused to be paid until I was satisfied. Frank was very responsive to emails. His price was very much on target for the job of reglazing the tub and tile. A community member recommended Frank and his team. I would recommended them to rfglaze your tub. Note to customers- be ready for a strong odor. You will not be able to vent your bathroom the first 24 hours while the glaze dries. And it took several more days after to reduce the odor. Further, there was a light dusting in all surfaces that needed a wipe down.

I originally began to look for a contractor to resurface and reglaze my bathroom, so I began to…read moreseek out several different contractors to find a contractor who would best suit my needs for the job I needed performed. I narrowed the contractors down to two contractors one that I found online and one through Angi list. I decided to go with Superior Porcelain Resurfacing after being told that there was a five-year warranty against any issues including fading of the paint, rust, and peeling and they received a decent amount of starred reviews. Adam stated that it would be a two day timeframe from start to finish to complete the work. One day would be prep. The second day would be painting he originally showed me the bathroom saying he knew there were drips from the paint but not to enter the bathroom for 24 hours after the work was completed, and he would be back to fix the issues. I did not enter the bathroom for 48 hours to allow for ample drying time, but also to allow the smell to subside. When I entered into the bathroom, I was really disappointed and annoyed at what a terrible job was actually performed on my bathroom. I immediately contacted Adam, expressing my displeasure of such a sloppy job that was performed. 1. Adam, never returned to clean up his mess and left it for me to actually take off all the paper and cleaned up the mess that he left behind. He states online that he completes a job from start to finish, including the prep work and the cleanup, which is false. 2. There was not only a couple of drips. The whole bathroom had dripped marks all over it showing a truly unprofessional job. 3. Because Adam did not sand and clean up the sanding, it left a gritty texture which cannot be shown in the photos they can be felt in the bottom of the bathtub, which he had asked if I wanted a rough texture or a smooth texture, which I expressed that I wanted it to be smooth from a prior experience that I did not like the rough texture. I also mentioned to Adam that it was not only the bathtub that was gritty, but also throughout the walls that it left a very un smooth texture which is not at all what I asked for. 4. I originally requested that the whole bathroom be painted white, including the prior tiles, which were an off-white which Adam stated would match up to the white he was painting, so he covered the original white, which I brought to his attention that I did not believe that it would match the white that he was going to be painted and he stated don't worry it will and I expressed to him that I hope so because I don't believe it will match the white that he would be painting. 5. I also stated That the original Blue color that the tiles were was showing through the white and you could still see the blue underneath again something that was not addressed correctly during the work that was performed. 6. Upon further investigation of the bathroom, I noticed that he spray-painted my extremely expensive Moen showerhead, the shower bar for the curtain, the light fixtures, the outlets, the side of my vanity, which was just purchasing a year ago when I had a contractor come in and redo the bathroom, the screens to the window, and the accessories such as a towel holder in the bathroom. 7. Adam then stated he had to return to them redo the bathroom which he did a month after the original work was performed Furthermore making it very inconvenient for me to then have to take all of the items out of my bathroom, a second time. 8. When Adam returned yesterday to redo the bathroom the first thing he stated was he wanted more money! When I responded that he saw the original job, everything was discussed with him from the beginning and not only was given a quote but paid on that quote for a job that was not done to my specification or satisfaction. He then arrived with an attitude express, expressing his displeasure for having to return and also not being able to receive additional money. This behavior absolutely makes me believe that he will not honor his five-year warranty as he originally stated. 9. He entered and immediately got to work after arriving late and saw that a good 70% of the bathroom was covered in blue tape showing all of the mistakes that I could find so he could locate it easily. When Adam was done completing the work, I pointed out that you could still see the blue coming through the white, which he stated there was nothing he could do about that and no one would really see it anyway. I stated that no one else paid the bill but myself. I continued to bring, to his attention, the damages that were done to my bathroom in which I was told there was nothing he could do about that so not only am I out funds for a very poorly job performed on my bathroom, but also additional funds to have to replace all of the items that were damaged in the process of the work that was performed. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone

The first two services seemed like they were rushing to get a quote, or wanted to add on a la carte for what I needed done for my tub. When I called Jorge, he answered politely and took the time to address all my concerns and questions. He even took the time to ask me questions about this tub I inherited for our new two bedroom unit. He quoted me at a similar estimate, but it was his phone mannerisms that made me book him. I called him on new years eve, and he came to reglaze my tub following holiday. Jorge was punctual, polite, and assessed my tub when he arrived. He assured me that he would be finished in a few hours, and I returned to see that he cleaned up the area, gave me instructions on aftercare, as well as delivered what I had asked for. I was quite impressed by a business that didn't have a single review yet! I would highly recommend Jorge to redo another tub. He made it look like new, and in a much better condition than when I first got the unit.

However given our experience with other bathroom remodels we looked into Reglazing and we could not have been happier. Jorge is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his craft. He takes the time to protect the surrounding area in order to not get paint on the other surfaces. At the end of the day we had what looked like a brand new tub installed.
