I will say it seems to pack more and more 'stuff' in and it gets hard to move around the store. It's really bad when you go into supreme beauty and those little girls in the back helping you with the wigs have a really nasty attitude and you report it to the manager and she just says OK . Great go to place for hair care needs. Excellent selection of hair, hair care products and accessories. Could expand a bit on the "higher end" products like Mizani and Keracare BUT still a great place to start with when looking for something hair related. I wouldn't count on being able to bring things back but that's usual urban beauty supply policies so go with a list and/or an open mind. Also have a minimum credit card transaction amount but it's usually easily met (I think it's $5). read more

Live in the area, so I frequently shop here. The store is clean, organized, with a moderate amount of items. Recently went natural, I purchased Shea Moisture and Carol Daughters products. Paid $16.99 for Shea Moisture shampoo, $16.99 for the conditioner and Carol's Daughter Leave-in conditioner for $19.99. Went to the local neighborhood walmart down the street and purchased the same items for $9.99 each, a $24 plus tax difference. Severely over priced. On a brighter note, they did allow me to return the products although they have a sign that all purchases are final. Not sure if that had anything to do with me purchasing the items that day or because I frequent the store. read more

Do not go here terrible customer service! I spent almost $100 and bought a product for $20 that I already had. I never opened it and went to exchange it with the receipt and they told me not exchanges, no refunds, etc. I will not go back I found other beauty supplies in the area with more items and have better customer service!!! read more

I went to this beauty supply to purchase a moisturizer for my hair last night. I accidentally picked up the leave In conditioner instead. I took at back to exchange it today and I was rudely told that there were no exchanges on "chemicals" and all sales were final. So basically I spent 15.99 on a hair product that I cannot exchange and do not want. They do not have signs stating you cannot return these items or I wouldn't have purchased it. Today I arrived at this store at 7:49...the sign on the door says that they close at 8:00. I needed one thing and knew exactly where it was. The girl was standing at the door and would not let me in, stating that they were closed. I told her it's not 8:00 yet and she said the woman behind the counter said they're closed. This place always has bad costumer service...There's a man in this store that always has an attitude and last time I came in I tried to buy TWO things that were supposedly 1$ each yet he charged me over $5 and when I told him it said they were $1 he gave me an attitude saying no they are 2.50 each.. I don't know if he either made up the price on the spot because he just didn't want me paying for something under a 5$ purchase or the items were miss priced...Either way I paid for the items and left feeling things could have been handled at least nicer.. While shopping for hair products, I was approached by a female employee who forcefully informed me that I could not open products to make sure I was purchasing the correct item. Not sure if they are still connected to the Supreme Beauty on south main. Years ago, the store on south main was owed by a very nice lady. I believe she employed her kids at the south main location and eventually they opened this Pearland location. The lady and her children were very nice and seemed to treat customers with respect. The sales staff at the Pearland location could use some customer service training by those employees at the south main location. I encountered a rude employee over the telephone at the Pearland location and the exchange was not pleasant. For this reason, I will shop elsewhere. read more

If I could give this place a negative one star I would. That is how I feel about this poor excuse of a business. This is my was my go-to place for all my beauty supply needs because it is the largest in the Pearland area. I typically spend 50-100 dollars every time I patron this business. But my last visit will be my last visit. I entered the location and I went straight to what I was looking for. I had my three well-behaved teenage children with me. I then had to the wig section trying on a wig. The first thing that happened was the young Asian worker asked me if I had a stocking cap. I did. I proceeded to try on one wig. I did not like it. I then asked my children to help me pick out a wig that they think would look good on me. We're conversing about wide and my style while same Asian worker watched us. I saw her standing there pretending to work but ask the while he eyes fixated on us. For the entire 15 minutes we were in the wig section she stood there watching us. I had enough. I continued the worker asking why was she watching us. I further explained to get that I frequent this business a lot and I've spent way too much money there to be treated like a criminal. She denied watching us...of course! And snickered when I became adamant being watched so hard. I was to the point that I was so annoyed that I left the $100 plus basket worth of items on thei floor as I proceeded out the door. This place is ridiculous! They do not not have good customer service and they stereotype anything that is of color coming into their store. I've seen this happen more than once there but this was the final time and I will not be returning back. The prices are almost doubled of any other beauty supply store I've shopped outside of Pearland. And to top it off they assume anyone black will steal. SUPREME BEAUTY DON'T QUOTE PRICES OVER THE PHONE, BUT AMAZON PRIME DO ONLINE. Whenever I have the opportunity, I try to support local small business owners within my community. However, the treatment I received from Supreme Beauty made me turn to a big box on line. On the evening of 07/11/2018, I contacted them via phone to inquire about a WAHL 5 Star Cordless Shaver. Initially, the female associate that answered my call said they had the item in stock and gave the price on the replacement foil instead of the complete item. When I realized there was some miscommunication between us, I clarified myself by stating I need the entire shavers not the replacement foil. She then stated they had the item in stock as well. However, when I asked her the price on the item, she responded by saying, "WE DON'T QUOTE PRICES OVER THE PHONE." I kindly thank her and place an order with Amazon Prime. I'm certain, it's the cheaper rout. However, I never assumed otherwise when I initially called Supreme Beauty. I was willing to pay a little more provided I could receive the item that day. However my experience with them, motivated me to go cheaper and wait. read more

Horrible customer service! I agree with the filtered review. I went in to purchase a wig, and after trying on a few wigs, I was told that I could not try on anymore by the woman that runs the place. I have lost a lot of my hair due to health reasons, and this was the first time for me to shop for a wig. I would think that I should be able to try on any wig that I want, so I can find the one that suits me the best. I would think they would want the customer to be happy so they will come back and make more purchases. They lost my business, and I would suggest other people to not give their business unless you have to. They do not even deserve a one star rating. read more

I hate that this is the closest beauty supply to me in Pearland. I've been here on several occasions and the customer service is terrible...today will be the last time.1st of all why while I'm shopping there is always someone that works here following me around, but when I need help picking out a product I have the hardest time finding an employee to help?! I can buy this entire store, you don't have to worry about someone stealing a $2.99 lipgloss Smdh! I went into Supreme Beauty today around 3:00 pm and left out appalled at the treatment that my family received during our shopping trip. I got up to the register and the male sales clerk asked me if I had placed down everything that I intended to purchased. I responded by saying yes and then he asked me where was the fingernails that he saw my 11 year old daughter pick up. She answered by telling him that she did pick them up to look at but decided not to purchase them so she put them down. He then preceeded to demand for my daughter to go get them so that he could be certain that she put them back. She told them that she didnt remember where she had placed them down and I also told him the same. Completly disregarding the fact that we both didnt know when they were placed down he asked my daughter repeatedely to go get the fingernails. After insulting my daughter and I over and over by insinuating that prehaps she had taken the fingernails I decided not to purchase anything. He got upset and tossed my bag of items that I had decided not to buy somewhere behind the counter. I felt discriminated against and I will not ever visit this store again.
