Dishonest/fraudulent business. AVOID. 6.5 weeks ago, three window vendors visited for a large UES job. Supreme Glass charged a $140.84 fee for a written estimate (the other two vendors had no charge). An incorrect and incomplete estimate arrived 5 weeks later only after I repeatedly called them (wrong kind of glass, missing several rooms). I was promised a corrected estimate the next day, but it never arrived -- that's two weeks ago. They will not respond to calls and so far have refused a refund, despite never delivering what we agreed upon. I am disputing the charge with Amex and hopefully they will sort it out. If Supreme Glass is this slow and evasive when giving estimates, how would they behave during an actual installation? I'm starting to wonder if their only business is billing for estimates that they never or incorrectly deliver. Sunny Windows and Capri Architectural Windows both submitted estimates within two weeks and have been extremely responsive. I'm moving forward with one of them. read more

I hate to give people bad reviews but I have no choice. We've been told 3x's that we'll get a call back about a screen door we had taken away to get measured to replace with a new one and never got that call. It's been about a month without a screen and flies keep coming in so we have to shut the window. It's as if they lost it and don't know what to do now! read more

If you're looking to have someone come out, take measurements, then never show up with the estimate Supreme Glass is your company. They came out on 5/20 and after 4 phone calls with fake promise dates, it is 6/5 and I still don't have an estimate. I had wanted to compare prices, turns out this company is an unprofessional waste of time. They should consider taking lessons from Aggressive Windows which turned around an estimate in 48 hours. read more

Hubby and I just bought a fixer-upper apartment in a large co-op. One of the many updates it requires is replacing the half-window half-air conditioner situation with a full, large pane of glass. Sounds great-- more sunlight, bigger window... but we need to find someone to do it. On the building's recommendation, we called Supreme Glass for a quote. Even though they clearly have done this job many times (being that they were the only company mentioned to us), you'd think they'd say "oh, so-and-so building, yes that'll be $..." but instead, we had to describe the very complicated window layout to the girl on the other end, and when she finally said she understood, we scheduled for someone to come by and measure. They gave me a time frame of 9:30-4:30 and *click* that was it. On the day of, I waited for about two hours in our construction site apartment before the guy shows up. The guy that came grumbled at me until I pointed at the window in question. He pretended to measure for awhile but didn't write anything down and then tried to leave. I redirected him to the other window and told him the same thing. When he was done, he left without saying a word. Um, okay. Two days later I get a call from Supreme Glass. The girl once again had no clue what she was talking about. She quoted a price to take out the a/c and replace that rectangle with glass but not the whole thing. Well, that doesn't help me much, considering it's not what I asked for or wanted. Hubby gave her hell and hung up. About a half hour later, someone else called me back, I guess to apologize and try to regain our business. She seemed to know what was going on in the world around her, but basically said it was our fault for "misunderstanding" and that the girl didn't do anything wrong. If this is the way they treat you before they have your money, I can only imagine what happens once the deposit is down. All I know is I don't want to be blamed when some contractor makes my windows more busted than they already are, and then get charged a grand for it. read more

I don't understand how you run a business with zero logic and zero accountability. If you want to lose all faith in humanity, by all means work with these people. What warrants this review? I called this vendor - preferred by my building - to reinstall shower doors that were removed for repair. Booked an appointment for 5 business days out - simple, right? Phone up 24h before the appointment and asked for a window for service call. Call back same day - OK, I can accept that. Call back day of - no appointment found! Oh wait, found for same day I called. And they showed and I wasn't here - bold faced lie, since I was home the entire day. Demand to speak to a manager and then get hung up on. Phone back and have someone come the same day as promised, who only looks at the door/job and then leaves, saying he needs parts. Phone the office - and they have to wait til EoD for the tech to get back with a paper clipboard to determine scope of work which is only confirmed after 5p after the office closes, so maybe call back tomorrow. Maybe call back never. These guys can really go hang themselves before they hang my shower doors. read more

This company is so unorganized and do NOT have their stuff together. They are immensely rude on the phone and do not follow through. I have a broken window pane on a street-facing apartment, which i feel is a danger. It took them TWO technicians over the course of TWO MONTHS to get someone to survey the problem and it took another two months for the window to be ordered and arrive. And now it's taken then over a month to get someone here to install it. So it's been nearly SIX MONTHS for absolutely NOTHING to happen so far. It is ridiculous and a pain and nobody should be paid for work done this way. Do NOT work with this company if you can help it! You will not have a good experience. read more

This is the worst company I have done business with in NYC. It took them two and half months more than promised to complete a job that took 1 hour. Do not use this company unless you want to deal with unreliability and unprofessionalism. I waited 3 wks for them to come to my apt to measure my windows for screen placements, after several appt cancellations on their behalf. I made appts and at the very last min they wld call and cancel after I had waited all day for them. They finally came and I had to wait another 3 wks before the screens came in and yet again they have cancelled the appt for installation at the last minute. I have spoken with management and they act as if they don't even care about their inconvenience towards you. My property manager made the arrangements to use this company. I have spoken with him about it. If it was my money being used, I would never give them my business. read more

Throughout multiple interactions with this company and their service representatives, I found this to be one of the LEAST responsive and customer-oriented companies I have ever had the misfortune to have to work with. Some of the problems include: **unwillingness and/or inability to call you back to (re)schedule appointments **surliness -- when we asked one of their guys to clean up after himself, we were told, "I'm not here to clean your windows, lady -- yeah, go ahead and report me, my boss will tell you the same thing!" **inability to send service people out on the first try with either the proper equipment or the proper training to fix a problem that was described in detail on the phone **complete willingness to leave with the job incomplete: the window didn't close, but hey, it was quitting time! I cannot recommend strongly enough that, if you have a choice in the matter, select a DIFFERENT company for your window and glass needs. read more

Stay away people !! This is by far the worst company ever. Management decided to hire this company to repair my window. It took months for them to come and have a look at it. They would make up excuses saying "we tried reaching you," however i never heard from them and they wouldn't leave voicemails. Must be a very vocal minority of unhappy customers on here. I have nothing negative to say about them in my experience. Also, super honest people work here. I recently lost my cell phone and it was found by one of their employees (separate situation coincidentally) and it was returned and even charged when I came to pick it up. read more

If I could give 0 stars I'll do it. We hired Supreme Glass and Windows because they do a lot of work for my building, but from the beginning it was a mess. And I'll explain why. 1-They gave us the wrong quote: A guy came to our apartment to take the measurements (we were interested in having windows screens and door screens) they gave me a price and it turns out that they never included the door. So the mistake was almost the double of the initial quote. 2-It took over a month and a few calls to get the job done: They told me the screens will be ready in two weeks. But after that time they keep telling me that screens will arrive the following week. Nobody ever called me to give me an explanation if I wanted to know what happened I had to call. 3-They couldn't finish the work at the first visit: We asked for a door lock in our screen, but they didn't bring the lock keeper with them. They had to come a second time to install the missing piece and also it took me several calls to finally make them come. 4- The job doesn't have the best quality (Pictures attached): We are happy with our windows screens, but the door screen has a few visible screws and two extra holes where they installed the lock keeper. After all this the only thing we got from them was a sorry and a bunch of excuses. read more

Horrible customer service. We had to have the front awning replaced in front of a building. It took over a month to even get a response as to when they were coming to install the new awning. The final few days of persistence went something like this...I left messages for Mark (The owner) who never returned my phone calls. He finally spoke to me after I gave the receptionist "S" a hard time because she apologized on his behalf then went on to tell me that he was "just a very busy guy". After speaking to him, he stated he would call me later in the day with an update. AGAIN, no call back. I proceeded to call the next day and got the run around from "L" who also stated she would call me back with a date and never did! After speaking to about 3 other people, I finally got an installation date from a very helpful woman named Michelle. If I was Mark I would give her a nice big holiday bonus because she was the only one who was helpful and she is definitely THE ONLY ONE there with any people skills. With the exception of Michelle, everyone I dealt with was rude, arrogant and provided me with no information. Your company can thank Michelle for the one star! read more

Don't waste your time scheduling with them. No real communication. Made an appointment for somebody to come measure for replacement windows, and was given time of between 9am and Noon. I called the morning of the appointment to confirm they were still coming, and was told that I was the first visit of the day and to expect him between 9:30AM and 10:30AM. At 10:45AM I call to see where he is, and was told they would call me back. They did not call back. I called for the third time that morning at 11:20AM. I was told that the guy had a problem and he would come after he finished with his problem. I asked if that would be before noon, and I was told he could not make it before noon. I then asked to speak with a manager. The manager said that I was supposed to be the first stop of the day, and the driver must have mixed the tickets up. I explained that she was telling me a different story than what I was earlier told. I went on to explain that I was previously told the driver had a problem. The manager said that the driver was experiencing a problem at the place he was currently at. I explained that I had to call three times, to find out nobody was coming. The manager tried to reschedule. I won't waste another morning off from work. They don't seem to know what their employees are doing, and they don't communicate with the customer. read more

This company has about the worse customer service and professionalism I have ever had to deal with in a service industry. They replaced my window without informing me that my current window that they just destroyed was discontinued, and when the new window did not close correctly, they told me I could either spend another $4000 to replace the entire window parts or to cut down portions of the window. When FIVE MONTHS passed and nothing was done (and $400+ later), the customer service/manager Jackie claimed that it was MY fault that I chose to not spend the money and replace the entire window parts and decided on the other cut-down solution (may I remind them that the reason why I needed to have it cut down was that they replaced it incorrectly in the first place?) and they can't help me at this time. She hung up on my twice and threatened to cancel my work order. I have never, ever, had to deal with this type of poor customer service as I have with this company, and will NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

When she said that it would take one to three weeks, I thought it might take too long for us and that I might try and find another company. "thanks so much" I said and she hung up without a goodbye.
