I rarely write reviews, but SKA is a school that is worthy enough to brag about! My daughter has been receiving the best care here. I decided to transfer her from a local preschool to Supreme Kids Academy a few months ago, and in just six months, I have noticed a significant difference in her learning, penmanship, and overall development. Before enrolling her here, I did a lot of research trying to find a great school for my little one. I can truly say she is receiving the best care and education in the Bay Area! Their staff and teachers are unmatched. As a mom who works in education, I can confidently say their curriculum and materials are advanced. There are a lot of local centers and schools that do not have the right resources, structure, or teachers to successfully run a great preschool. Every staff member is so sweet, caring, and attentive to my daughter. You can tell they have a prestigious hiring process because every single staff member carries the values of the school. Not only is my daughter receiving the best care and education here, but she is also receiving the highest level of safety. As a working mom, safety is extremely important to me. They have an app where they send updates throughout my daughter's day. I am in constant communication with them and receive alerts throughout the day, which is such a relief as a parent. With everything going on in schools today, it is comforting knowing your child is safe and receiving the best care when they are not with you. Our children are the future, and investing in their care and education at a young age is so important. We love SKA! This review is way overdue. Two of my children attended SKA. For us, Supreme Kids Academy, is like a home away from home. SKA provides a loving and nurturing environment for all children. They provide breakfast, lunch and wholesome snacks included in the cost of tuition which was a huge help. They helped potty train both my boys in just a short few days and really work with families in developing a plan that works with each child. The cost of tuition is more than reasonable for the services provided. They offer additional enrichment opportunities through music, dance, karate, and gymnastics courses. I loved that my children had the opportunity to be exposed to these different programs during the course of the day as it wasn't always possible during after school hours with a full time job and other children. They offer special field trip days held at school which my children always looked forward to and still talk about (puppet shows, petting zoos, visits from dentist offices etc). Ms. Tia and Ms. Coco welcome the kids every morning and ensure a smooth drop off. It was a huge relief knowing my children were in the hands of such loving staff. My kids literally ran to them! Not to mention Ms Tia is a professional photographer so you will never have a better school picture! They communicate any concerns in a timely manner and I loved being able to check the app for picture updates throughout the day. I always felt any questions or concerns I had were also important to them and addressed promptly. I watched my children's confidence grow as they mastered a preschool curriculum. They learned how to make friendships and how to handle conflicts with the support of their teachers. I really can't say enough good things about SKA. The owners, administrators and teachers will always have a special place in our hearts. They provided me with the "village" that I didn't have and I am forever grateful. read more

My 4yr old son started preschool here and he learned SO much within a year. From learning how to write his name, numbers & alphabets to learning a classroom like schedule that'll prepare him for kindergarten. They got my picky eater son to try new foods for lunch and being around kids who ate normally, opened up his curiosity to try as well. (Within a week of starting I didn't have to make his lunch anymore) The staff is great. Goes above and beyond for every child and it's always so noticeable. The location is decent and safe. You will not find better child care or child development at any price point?! If you're reading this review it's likely that you are in the same position that I was 2 years ago you are looking for the right fit for your precious little one. At this moment this might feel like the biggest decision you're ever going to make in life certainly the biggest decision you're going to make right now. 2 years ago I was in your shoes and I made the right choice I have never looked back. I remember being in your shoes for a little context me and my wife are older parents and our daughter is a miracle child from the child that she was 6 months old we started thinking about her schooling and her child care you spent a solid year researching schools we live in pinole and we were hoping to find something close to home and unfortunately our quest for "high quality child care"took us to Berkeley El cerrito and Piedmont we looked at montessori's Waldorf regios and even some new age non-center-based parent co-op learning programs go ahead and look that up I know I had to! As I mentioned before we are older parents maybe the only advantage of that is that we have some financial stability so price was not really a concern I mean there was actually one for where we're looking at there was $6,000 a month and then you had to buy meal programs for the record I would have paid that if I needed to but I wasn't really keen on the program. For the most part my research showed that most branded programs with bigger reputations we're hovering at or above $3,000 a month which I was ready to pay. Again not cuz we're well off just because we've been waiting for this for a long time we've been waiting hoping praying and saving for a long time for a baby that we really didn't think was ever going to come and then by the grace of GOD Almighty our little miracle was born And we found the perfect school to send her to. That school is Dupreme Kids Academy. I ended up getting everything that I really wanted knowing that academically she's getting the best type of growth and development possible but also and just as importantly having that feeling like my daughter was in the best child care option available regardless of cost proximity or by any other measurable metric my daughter was in the best child care situation possible I mean if I won the lottery tomorrow her child care situation wouldn't change one bit the way the situation unfolded is that my wife had placed our daughter in a reputable branded and expensive daycare provider whose name I'm not going to use because there's nothing wrong with them we just didn't love them my wife had taken her to school that day and just had this feeling of emptiness of worry of discontent so she decided to go visit one last school and she brought along our friend who has bought and sold several Early learning academies and is literally an expert in the field and is it just so happens by the grace of God I was available for the first time ever to visit any of these places in person that is when we went to SKA. these are good people everyone working here you know that they love these children and they are truly invested and committed to these kids and that's where their heads and their hearts are I knew in a moment that we walked in there that besides marrying my wife and having this little girl this was the best thing I was going to do in my life and it's the first really good thing that I could do for my baby even our friend who came with us and who suffers no fools when it comes to child care felt like ska checked every box I mean they are immediately warm and friendly and familiar while the same time being reliable and professional also I want to talk about the makeup of people here and for reference I graduated from Berkeley high School in the late 1980s so I have a pretty evolved idea of diversity and what is more beautiful about this this isn't something that they did to check boxes they're just really good people and this is who they are a bunch of people from different backgrounds with a common interest of children they all come together to make up this beautiful family that we call supreme kids academy if I'm sounding a little bit like a commercial for kumbaya and some kind of drum circle I can't help it these folks just make me feel a certain way I'm kind of sentimental and very soft hey I'm a girl dad. Cut to the chase on pricing I mentioned most programs were around $3,000 for just a tiny bit more than half that my daughter is with them from 8:00 in the morning till 6:00 in the evening she learns Spanish she does gymnastics karate and dancing she's doing what kindergarteners in public school can't do. I really wish that I had better words to try to tell you how wonderful these folks are I mean it is a privilege to take my daughter there and all levity aside I plead with them that is and that is not too strong of a word I plead with them at least once a week read more

My 4 year old son has had some poor experiences at other preschools in the past When we came to Supreme Kids Academy , they welcomed us with open arms. From the moment we did our tour they were kind and heard the needs of my son. They have been helpful and supportive with information and guidance. I am so grateful I found Supreme Kids Academy! All the teachers are really sweet including the owner and director. My daughter has learned sooo much in the very short amount of time she has been there. From drawing letters and writing out her entire name, to singing songs in different languages, you can tell that this academy does have a focus on making sure that the kids are learning. Long over due review for this preschool. Both my girls attended the school and they loved everything about it. Very devised group of kids and staff very well mannered and caring environment for kids growth. Along with Learning environment they have in house freshly prepared meal with in house cook, my girls still miss their food. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for preschool. read more

This review is long overdue! Five years ago, I was in search for the right daycare center for my one year old son. I toured over 10 daycare facilities in the area and felt like none of gave me the "right" feeling. Once I arrived at Tera's daycare, I was impressed by her professionalism and the diversity in her school. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of her place and all the smiling & happy children running around. Having toured many other facilities in the area, I felt huge relief that I had finally found a place I would actually consider. Shortly after my tour, I decided to enroll my son at Tera's daycare. My son started attending a few (2) days at the beginning because I was anxious about leaving him at daycare all day. However, Tera was very understanding and was able to relate because she's a mom too! She also encouraged me to increase my son's days at the daycare because he would adjust quicker and she was right! My son started attending half days/ 5 days a week and quickly transitioned to full time because he never wanted to leave when I would pick him up. Sometimes, he'd cry because I was taking him home. Lol My son ended up attending Tera's daycare for 5 years. He thrived academically but most importantly developed friendships and had a lot of fun! At TT Tera's, my son learned his ABCs in English and Spanish and counted in two's by 16 months. By the time he was done with TT Tera's program, he was a lot more advanced than kids his age. My son is now 5 and attending TK at a different school. He's advanced in reading and excelling in math, addition and subtraction. I can say so many positive things about Tera's daycare, but I truly feel blessed to have found this place! I am so excited that she has decided to expand her daycare and opened another facility. I have sent 3 friends and they've already enrolled their children! I strongly encourage you (everyone in search of a daycare) to check it out and enroll your child A few other things! - kids will probably cry the first week because it's a new transition, but stick with it! The benefits of being at a daycare is crucial for their socialization later! Kids adapt quickly! - It's always hard to leave your child at first, but every day gets easier! Tera's dedication to littles and her love for her students is a wonderful sight to see. She has high expectations of all students and she maintains great relationships with kids and families. I would gladly choose her care for little ones in my family because I know Tera will not just occupy their time with TV or movies. She understands completely how precious the first five years of like is. She makes her scholars work hard and she values the whole child. The staff is extremely friendly. When my son Jayden first went there he was sad but the staff made him feel at home. They were patient and sweet to him they treated him like he was their own. When I would pick him up I would see him dancing and laughing with the other kids the owner was nice enough to send me videos of him. I currently enrolled my son in the supreme kids Academy he's been there for about a month and I have to say I am very impressed with the outcome of the school. I like how the teachers and director is very involved with my son and they always update me on how well he is doing. I am a first time parent so putting him in a school was scary at first but on my sons first couple days of school they made him feel welcomed and they comforted him which ensured me that he will be fine through out the day. They also have an app that keeps me up to date on what my son is doing, what he ate that day, and the different activities he did. It was my pleasure to have Tera as a daycare provider for my daughter Ella. Tera began caring for Ella when she was just five months old until recently when she turned four years old and we moved out of the area. As many new mothers are, I was initially very nervous about leaving my daughter, however, Tera and her staff immediately made me feel at ease. My transition back to work was much easier knowing that Ella was in a loving and caring environment. Tera was very gentle, calm, and nurturing and always had such a cheerful disposition. I was also extremely impressed with the preschool's academic program. Ella thrived and while in Tera's care she learned her letters in English and Spanish, numbers in English and Spanish, shapes, and colors. She also learned to write the entire alphabet and started reading some words (with the help of creative flashcards from Tera!). Ella was also so excited to go to school, which I believe was a direct reflection of the wonderful care Tera and her staff always provided her. Tera and her staff were wonderful to my daughter and believe her preschool would be a fantastic environment for any child.
