He quoted us a gutter system and fascia repairs based on information from the roofer that turned out to be less than accurate, but when he had to change the gutter work he did not pass those likely considerable costs on to us. He worked with us to find a solution when the original plan was not going to work due to the roofer's miscommunication. He is not a 'sales guy' who shows up to quote the job and then we don't hear from him again until it's time to pay the bill, he's involved and interested in the project and we spoke several times in person, on the phone, and by text during the process. Before the roof went on, his crew came out and did a quick and tidy job of removing the old gutters from the house, and then the carpentry team showed up a day later to do repairs to the fascia in two areas; the work was seamless and perfect, you can't even tell where the repair begins and ends, it looks fantastic. Paint and wood was matched meticulously. Jesus and his crew were great at communicating when they planned to arrive and what they would be doing. The gutters were finished today and they look fantastic; they even piped the runoff from one side into a rainwater collection container that my uncle had given us a year ago, so now it will finally be used! The workers were respectful of our property and cleaned up the entire work site when they were done. Everything looks fantastic. We could not be happier. I originally narrowed down gutter businesses by their customer reviews. Xellent Gutter Solutions had 5-star reviews on both Google and Yelp. I would soon learn why. We had old gutters on our home that needed to be replaced. Xellent Gutters promptly came out and provided a very reasonable estimate for the same size 5-inch gutters we had on our house. After considering my options further, I decided that, given the size of our house, I wanted to get a new bid for 6-inch gutters with the Leaf Blaster Pro gutter guards. I promptly received the new bid, which was also very reasonable and better than other businesses with 5 star reviews. I had several questions along the way and always received quick and informative answers. It was clear they cared about fully answering my questions. I always felt like I was a valued customer versus a nuisance for asking questions. They volunteered to come out again to my house with a sample of the 6-inch gutters in my color selection so we could make sure we were happy with that size and color. The owner, Jesus, personally came out to our house, got on the ladder to hold the sample to our house so we could make sure it was what we wanted. Jesus was wonderful. Helpful, funny, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I signed the contract on a Friday, and they were at our house for installation on the following Monday. They arrived right in the expected time window and sent a text message to announce their arrival in 45 minutes. The text let me know that there would be 4 workers on my installation team: Carlos, Nelson, Emerson, and Jesus. It was an extremely hot day, but they worked efficiently and quickly to install approximately 350 feet of gutters, downspouts, and splash guards. The work was completed in less than 6 hours from their arrival time. The new gutters and downspouts looked great. My yard was left completely clean with no sign that dirty old gutters had been recently removed. When we first purchased our home the number 1 concern (out of 3) we had with her were the locations…read moreof the backside rain gutter downspouts; 5 in all. All were draining rainwater right next to the foundation, creating pools. Some areas were even up to 4" deep in water during a deluge. Anybody who knows about homes and specifically foundations know, pooling water next to a foundation is a HUGE NO-NO! Luckily she's only 5 years old so it wasn't (hopefully) too late to implement a solution to avert a potential foundation disaster. Oh and furthermore, there weren't any rain gutter systems on the sides of our house. Only the front area and the aforementioned troublesome back area had gutter systems. There is even a clearly defined 3" x 2" trench on the topsoil created by curtains of rainwater over the last 5 years. Accompanying that was soil splatter residue on her exterior wall because of the lack of a servicing gutter system. Thankfully, I was able to brush and rinse off the soil splatter. I had to figure out how to more properly divert the rainwater away from her foundation and alleviate the soil trenching and soil splatter. I pondered the thought of imbedding a french drain beneath river rocks in unison with a triple layer of heavy gauge plastic to prevent weeds from sprouting through, but that would've been a pretty hefty sum after all was said and done. So... reconfiguring the rain gutter system was my most direct and inexpensive route. A friend of mine referred me to Scott at Bluebonnet Custom Roofing. I immediately phoned Scott to schedule an assessment and estimate. Scott was always professional, courteous and knowledgable on and off of the phone. He listened to my concerns and he advised me of my options based on the idea of how we envisioned the end results. Scott even had a swatch of color samples of the gutter material so we could match the frontside gutter system color to avoid having to paint the new system after the install. We got a perfect match! Soon after we agreed to a logical and proper layout, he dispatched his team to our house to execute the work. His team expediently performed the job with care and great workmanship. I thought it would've taken more time to complete the tasks but the removal of the old gutter system in the rear, the installation of the new system in the rear, plus the side systems came to fruition in a business day's time. Did I mention the gutter system are seamless except where the corner joints and downspouts are? Verrry nice! We couldn't be more happier with the results and how he and his crew handled the job from start to finish. The cost was reasonable and, of course, well worth it to resolve the issues I outlined. Homes are like us humans, not perfect. But now our home is closer to perfect, thanks to Scott and his crew!

I realized that's fixing this issue once in for all world save me money at long term by adding the gutter guards on them after cleaning. There are multiple types of guards depending on quality, so I used both kind depending on the flow of leaves where I have most of the trees. They were efficient, cleaned up after them and shared regular photo updates of the work. I could not even stand outside more than 14 mins since it was 105 and these folks got on the roof and took care of the job I'm couple of hours. If they did not want the job they should have said so. If there was another issue they couldn't handle, they should have said so. But nothing. Total waste of my time.
