He quoted us a gutter system and fascia repairs based on information from the roofer that turned out to be less than accurate, but when he had to change the gutter work he did not pass those likely considerable costs on to us. He worked with us to find a solution when the original plan was not going to work due to the roofer's miscommunication. He is not a 'sales guy' who shows up to quote the job and then we don't hear from him again until it's time to pay the bill, he's involved and interested in the project and we spoke several times in person, on the phone, and by text during the process. Before the roof went on, his crew came out and did a quick and tidy job of removing the old gutters from the house, and then the carpentry team showed up a day later to do repairs to the fascia in two areas; the work was seamless and perfect, you can't even tell where the repair begins and ends, it looks fantastic. Paint and wood was matched meticulously. Jesus and his crew were great at communicating when they planned to arrive and what they would be doing. The gutters were finished today and they look fantastic; they even piped the runoff from one side into a rainwater collection container that my uncle had given us a year ago, so now it will finally be used! The workers were respectful of our property and cleaned up the entire work site when they were done. Everything looks fantastic. We could not be happier. I won't recommend the roofer or even name them (the workers were amazing, the boss not so much), but I'm happy to spread the word far and wide that Xellent Gutter Solutions is a great company with integrity.

I originally narrowed down gutter businesses by their customer reviews. Xellent Gutter Solutions had 5-star reviews on both Google and Yelp. I would soon learn why. We had old gutters on our home that needed to be replaced. Xellent Gutters promptly came out and provided a very reasonable estimate for the same size 5-inch gutters we had on our house. After considering my options further, I decided that, given the size of our house, I wanted to get a new bid for 6-inch gutters with the Leaf Blaster Pro gutter guards. I promptly received the new bid, which was also very reasonable and better than other businesses with 5 star reviews. I had several questions along the way and always received quick and informative answers. It was clear they cared about fully answering my questions. I always felt like I was a valued customer versus a nuisance for asking questions. They volunteered to come out again to my house with a sample of the 6-inch gutters in my color selection so we could make sure we were happy with that size and color. The owner, Jesus, personally came out to our house, got on the ladder to hold the sample to our house so we could make sure it was what we wanted. Jesus was wonderful. Helpful, funny, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I signed the contract on a Friday, and they were at our house for installation on the following Monday. They arrived right in the expected time window and sent a text message to announce their arrival in 45 minutes. The text let me know that there would be 4 workers on my installation team: Carlos, Nelson, Emerson, and Jesus. It was an extremely hot day, but they worked efficiently and quickly to install approximately 350 feet of gutters, downspouts, and splash guards. The work was completed in less than 6 hours from their arrival time. The new gutters and downspouts looked great. My yard was left completely clean with no sign that dirty old gutters had been recently removed. The owner, Jesus, and Marlene were standouts in customer service, and the installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and hard-working. So, if you like receiving 5-star service AND product, at a great price, Xellent Gutter Solutions is an outstanding choice.

Having lived with the original builder grade bath for close to 40 years, I…read moredecided it was time to start preparing to "age in place" and get my master bath completely redone - shower conversion, floor tile, cabinets, new toilet, wallpaper removal and painting. This was my first major remodel, so I don't really have anything to compare with. The nits I experienced were pretty minor and probably typical for a job this scale. I found Jose thru Yelp after verifying his other reviews were from real people and not AI generated. I had initially gotten quotes from several of the bathroom remodelers that advertise on TV and experienced sticker shock. One of them turned out to do only the wet area - I would have had to get someone else for the floors, cabinets, painting, etc. Their quote for just the shower area ended up being about what I paid Jose for the entire job. Another of the TV advertisers could do everything I wanted, but their quote was almost 3x what Jose quoted! Yes, they could do it in 2-3 days, but is that worth 3x the cost? One of the first nits I experienced was that Jose didn't tell me the whole master bedroom would be sealed off during the project. Not that big a deal, but I wish I'd known that in advance. They got the demo completed the first day. One of the more time-consuming parts was removing the old wallpaper, which seemed to take about 2 days (the old walls were completely papered). His crew foreman Javier is a master craftsman. I learned pretty quickly to trust his experience. When I had initially seen the tile backer boards installed for the shower, I thought they had forgotten the niche shelf I'd requested. He explained that goes in last. One of the other nits I experienced was that I had to buy a lot of the supplies myself. I would have much preferred just pointing to stuff in a catalog, and Jose go buy them. The biggest problem with that was the grout. I trusted the tile shop's recommendation on grout, and when I delivered it to Javier, he said that stuff is no good. He explained that since it has silicone, it constantly outgasses and leaves a film on the tile. I went online and saw some other reviews with the same comments, so that reinforced my decision to trust what he was doing. Similar experience with the safety grab bars. I just bought some from Amazon, which came with cheap nylon screw locks. Seemed pretty flimsy should you have to actually use them to prevent a fall. Javier was able to use drywall anchors to securely lock them in place. The last nit was the cabinet installation. They were in such a rush to finish the cabinets that the toilet hadn't even been installed. Since I switched to an elongated ADA style toilet, it turned out the medicine cabinet above the toilet could no longer be reached at the old one's height. They had to come back and lower it 4 inches. Again, an easy correction, but would have been unnecessary if they had put the new toilet in first. Jose's crew finished up in 2 weeks, but it was another week before the glass shower doors and mirror showed up to be installed. Anyway, they finally went in today, and I am very happy with the end results. My neighbor had his bath redone last year, and comparing Jose's work to my neighbor's handyman, Jose is miles ahead. I finally know what "Schluter" is. My neighbor doesn't have it, so there are sharp tile edges everywhere! Jose Robles Remodeling will definitely be in the running to do my other 2 bathrooms.

The first time my apartment was cleaned, a lady showed up with what appeared to be two children who should have been in school. None of the children spoke English and the situation made me a little uncomfortable. At some point it came up in conversation and Emma insisted to me that this child was actually an employee and was there to clean my unit. She said she has a hard time finding a job because most employers do not believe she is 18, but that she was. Since she looked and acted like a child, this just strained credulity . . . When I first booked, I asked if she could just skip a large guest bathroom/bedroom and bill us for a two bedroom apartment instead of a three bedroom. I was told this was impossible because of her system and she had no choice but to charge me the higher rate. At some point it came up again that I was paying to have rooms cleaned that I didn't want cleaned and she told me if I paid her via Venmo rather than credit card she would continue cleaning all of the rooms, but at a lower price. I said this was fine, but then they stopped cleaning the extra rooms and told me this was what we agreed to. Fine, but it definitely wasn't what we agreed to. Finally, Emma told me rather abruptly that she could no longer clean my apartment. There was a story that involved someone hurting their back, someone else going to Mexico, and Emma being allergic to cats. It didn't really feel that believable and I can think of other reasons why she would do this, but in the end it felt like an 'ok' resolution since at some level I didn't trust her anymore because of all the stories she told me.

With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. Discount Rain Gutters had been recommended to me by two different neighbors. First chance I had the money I called Jesus. He was out the next day giving me an estimate. I was worried as I had 4 sides gutters, but the price was great! And they had a color that worked great with my house color (slightly odd off white). 1 week later the guys were out to install, right on time. I had expected 4-5 hours, but they were done just shy of 3 hours. Jesus had concerns about the flashing on the patio extension (not wide enough) but he said they would do their best. Week later it rained and the one area with concerns did leak in a few places (every place else worked perfectly). I called Jesus and a week later the guys were out to figure out the best way to resolve the issue. New flashing installed in about 20 min and they were done - I was totally prepared to pay for the additional parts/labor, but I was told "no". Jesus told me he would not install the gutters and then be gone if there were any issues and he didn't lie. We just had our gutters installed by Jesus and his team and are thrilled with the job they did. Jesus was the first person to give us an estimate; I was impressed with him from the start but did not want to rush into such a major project. He said to go ahead and get other bids, as he was sure his would beat them all. He was right. :) My husband and I carefully looked at the estimates for 3 different companies (all of which got high reviews on Yelp and Angie's List) but Discount Rain Gutters clearly stood above the competition. We now have quality 6" gutters that are a perfect color match and seamlessly blend with the house. As if the combination of quality and competitive pricing weren't enough, then you also have the fact that Jesus is such a personable guy with an amazing work ethic--he was so enthusiastic about earning our business and we are so happy to have found such a great local company to support. Note: Jesus does a lot of business and his schedule is pretty booked; I think he installed our gutters a month and a half after we got the initial bid (he told me of the timeline when I got the bid, so we knew what to expect). First review I have ever posted online. Let me start by explaining that I looked for awhile and did some research on quality and value in gutters. Jesus was one of four contractors I had come out and, to me, offered the best value in his product. We scheduled the gutters to be installed (whole house) while I was in the process of getting my back porch covered. I had initially requested Jesus to come out and install the gutters when my patio was finished but they ended up coming out to install the gutters during the construction which I was thought was scheduled at a later date. Long story short I had the dates wrong but Jesus went above and beyond the call of duty. Even after my patio was finished his crew came out and re attached the gutters to my porch which was my fault and he didn't have to do. He made sure no matter what we were happy with the end product which is hard to find these days. I would recommend Discount Rain Gutters to anyone looking for a company that is honest and does a great job. Jesus and his team actually first did work on my home a year ago but I failed to write a review - BAD me! The first time around they installed gutters around the back of my house in preparation for a extended patio and landscaping I was having done. Jesus came out the next day and gave me a quote (an excellent price!) and helped with positioning exactly where the downspouts would go (I bought a rain barrel also) and his men came out the next week and did an excellent job! I called him again this Monday because I failed to realize I also needed gutters running along one side of my house (the rain from the roof was causing issues with my new precious grass) and he came out the next day to look at what I needed done as I also needed some minor changes made to what he had installed the year before. His guys came today and within 2 hours were done! Same excellent job, same leaving my yard the way it was but now improved by their work. Just wish I needed some more gutters! We had Discount Rain Gutters install gutters on our house three years ago. The gutters have worked perfectly, even when we get those heavy downpours. The recommended color matched the house well, so they look great, too. We were impressed with how quickly the team was able to do the install and also correct some errors made by the gutters put on when the house was built. I called Jesus based on all the positive reviews I saw online, and I could not be happier that I did. This is actually the first time in a long time that I did not research other companies and get three bids. Upon meeting Jesus I knew he would do a great job and use quality products, all while being very fair from a price standpoint. His team just left a couple of hours ago and I am extremely pleased with the job they did taking down builder grade gutters, re-routing the gutter system and adding additional 6" gutters on the rear of our home. They also took away the old gutters, leaving no mess. Very rare for me to say that this time around you don't need to do additional due diligence. Just give Jesus a call. This past September, after months of getting the run around and no shows from a large company who gave me an exorbitant quote, I found Discount Rain Gutters online and was impressed with the yelp reviews so gave them a call. Jesus came out to asses our situation (W/D room had been flooding for years the few times we would get heavy rain), gave us a reasonable quote, showed up when he said they were coming and did the work to reroute water drainage. This past fall we have had several heavy rains...I held my breath for fear there would be flooding in the house again...bone dry!!! Extremely pleased the problem has finally been taken care of! He showed up the day after I called him to provide a quote (much lower than the "other guys") and explained in detail the work he would do...answering all of my questions. His prices were GREAT, his customer service was OUTSTANDING and the product was of sturdy, high quality material. After doing some comparative shopping for installation of a new gutter on the back of our house and our new outdoor living area, we ended up going with Jesus and Discount Rain Gutters based in Pflugerville. We had read the overwhelmingly positive reviews posted by other Yelp members, so we felt secure that we were going with a reputable, competent company. Last week, Discount Rain Gutters completed its installation of our new gutters. In a nutshell, their work and craftsmanship was outstanding, and their prices were reasonable. Jesus was patient and professional when dealing with us due to our situation. He initially came out, quoted and explained to my father-in-law the gutter plan for our house. When I returned home from a business trip, Jesus came out upon receiving my phone call to walk me through the gutter layout, and he answered all my questions of concerning areas. We had a terrible problem with back porch flooding and assumed we need to install a french drain to help with drainage issues in our yard. It turned out, we just needed new gutters! Jesus came out to assess and was very knowledgeable about products and even gave me great pointers for adding rain barrels so that it would be most affordable to do so. Fantastic quote on the spot and then he worked with me on scheduling so that we could get things done around the holidays and guests, which was very generous. When we finally did have rain, one gutter had a small issue with leaking. Jesus came out to evaluate personally and sent his crew out quickly to repair at no charge. Not only was I provided with a great price for gutters on my 2500sqft single story, but the quality of product provided was excellent. The crew from Discount Rain Gutters was on time, very courteous, and very professional. The same cannot be said for the rep from another AustinGutterGuy company, that looked through the install teams gear and strolled right into my back yard without asking permission. Not sure what was up with that, but I will find out. Back to Jesus and his Crew at Discount, these guys did it rights and were done in 2.5HRs, which got me back to the office much quicker than I expected. It took them about 1 1/2 to installed them, I spoke to them and they gave the name of the owner, Jesus Facundo. I called Discount Rain Gutters Inc and they came out the same day to give me the best price over others by a lot. I was hesitant at first, thinking you get what you pay for when it comes to purchasing a product or service. The short of it is, I couldn't be happier!!! Not only did jesus do his best in delivering a quick turn-around install date. He also suggested wider gutters in back of house, since roof had a larger surface area run-off than side of house. I used Discount Gutters for a small gutter installation on my back deck. I scheduled a time for an estimate with the owner. Jesus and his son showed up on time. They were both respectful, courteous & attentive to my project needs. Jesus did a good job picking out the color & style for my deck. I expected the quote to be high because it was such a small job. My name is Mike D., Jesus and his team were on time and very professional. I wasn't sure if there was a big difference in gutters. Jesus took the time to explain to me everything that he was installing. He was always very responsive and easy to work with. The team showed up and went straight to work.
