I've rented at the airport three times with this exact same card since February never an issue. It actually has a line of credit on it, but they told me when I went this time that they couldnt accept. Because I didn't have any plane tickets. The first three times I rented didn't have any plane tickets either. I ended up going down to the Hertz on South Willow and after going on their website to confirm that I could use this card website said nothing about not being able to use it Went down there and was told because it's the same day rental that I couldn't use this card again card is the same card on my Hertz profile that was saved as a credit card. I was told they were unable to charge these cards and couldn't use them, but they'd have to cancel my reservation. OK no problem that was on the fourth Around 8 PM on the sixth. A charge shows up as a pending charge for the exact price of my rental, which is 2 1/2 days later I immediately contacted customer service. They told me that it was just an authorization hold for the rental, which made no sense cause I never inserted my card to any machine. She asked me was it the same card on my profile and they were getting ready to charge it but then as soon as I pulled it out, she told me they couldn't accept it so my card was never inserted so how did they take money off of a card that they claim they can't accept and that they can't charge when I never inserted my card into a machine yet somehow they went onto my Hertz profile where this credit card is saved in charge the rental customer service told me it would just drop off course the next day it went from a pending to an actual charge. I contacted customer service again was told again it was just an authorization hold and I said well, even if that's true I never inserted my card and authorized any charges so how did you take money off the card that I never inserted into your machine for a rental because your rental agent would not rent to me and they now opened up some sort of investigation meanwhile, my money is still gone. I've rented at the airport to dollar thrifty budget and always use their rental booth but this time when I went, I was told it all went through Hertz and I had to go see them at the airport. I also like I said, went to the S. Willow St. location. The employees are completely untrained and completely. Shouldn't be taking money from people if they're denying their rentals I ended up going down to enterprise giving enterprise $1500 and getting a rental with the exact same credit card. I am still in the process of fighting with her trying to get my money back. I will never go there again after talking to a friend I was told the exact same thing happened to him and he never got his money back and he was never able to pick up the car so they are literally just stealing from people and looking for any reason to deny so they can take money for now I have told everybody I know not to use them and if my money is not returned in the five days, they told me it would take to do the investigation I'm filing a claim with a Better Business Bureau and fraudulent charges with my bank. If I could rate lower than a one star, I give it a -100.

My friend needed a car immediately. Suffice to say she didn't have good credit, good income, or a good anything-record. She's a good person--she just had a long run of bad luck. She was on the mend. And she really needed this car. Ron was not a salesman. He was a social worker. He not only heard her story and lowered the amount that she had to make a downpayment for, but gave her just the car she needed. It was barely driven and served ALL of her needs. She has 5 kids. She'll be able to make the payments. She almost cried and said that she had never made any purchase in her name before. It was a life-affirming moment. I was so touched by the sensitivity of Mr. Semons. But, I'll go further to say that the dealership is very welcoming. Everyone smiled when they greeted you. It was like a happy family. And that's how it was run until it was sold to the management. There are some dealerships that look you up and down if you don't look like you have money. These people seem happy to work there. They're doing a wonderful service. I don't know about the 1-star reviews for the dealership. But my guess is that they didn't have Ron Semons. He has managed car dealerships before, so he knows customer service. I told him that I would write him a glowing review. Tell him you read this review. That's carte blanche. He'll treat you well. In this world where so few people care for one another, it's life-affirming that this auto dealership exists. It's employee owned and you can tell. Happy car buying!

    These people are dirty rotten scum bags. They sold my wife and I a 2019 Toyota with 20,000 miles on…read moreit. Seemed like a great deal on a proven frame, body, and power train. Until 3 days after we pulled from the lot "sold as is" and we were over come with the awful stench of DOG URINE . We put the inside under a black light after dark and it looks like several dogs pissed every where inside the van. We wanted to have the van property cleaned and detailed, but we had (3) quotes with the cost to do it right at $1,500 and the detailers stated that they must remove the carpet from the van to get all the bacteria out of the carpet and the floor under the carpeting, and that they need the car for 48 hours to do it properly and ensure they get the stink out permanently. We called Merchants Manager of Internet sales and their Service Mgr, and we walked thru the 3 quotes with them to see if they would even consider splitting the cost. They refused but did agree to clean it, but they did not do it properly, they had the car for 12 hours. When the wife goes to pick it up she is sold a load of BS from the Service Manager. The stench is back now that the car is sitting in the sun, and Merchants is not returning the wife's phone calls. We are just at the beginning of a one man and woman very public campaign of transparency and how they hid this condition from us. The beauty of our campaign for Merchants transparency is not going to cost us a cent, and yet Merchants will never be able to quantify how many used car sales they may have lost out on. If you are in the neighborhood keep your eyes open for Transparency the signs will be very visible and many.
