My SO called in on a Saturday morning about a key that was sticking on his laptop. After calling around to a few places with no luck he was able to speak with Ben at Supreme Tech. He asked us to bring the device in so he could take a look. Ben was very open and honest stating that he'd try his best but since the device was older if he couldn't fix the key that day he'd likely have to order the part. He sent us on our way and said he'd give us a call when ready. About 2 hours later we get a call and it's ready. He was able to fix it and at an extremely reasonable price. Not only was he able to provide great service but I get the feeling he's a really good person. He set us at ease (as sometimes when dealing with those with technical knowledge you can feel really out of your depth - which we were and can feel taken advantage of) explaining how he fixed it and next steps if we are to encounter the issue again. I can't recommend this place enough. We were traveling and on a tight time constraint when my daughter's iPad screen cracked, and Ben truly went above and beyond to help us. Very little communication, I had to continuously call for status updates. Never confirmed my approval for services after the diagnostic. Parts they needed took a while for them to receive which I can understand. But still no update when they did receive them. Laptop was dead when I picked it up so i couldn't even check if it worked. I had a nightmare experience with Supreme Tech. I brought my Lenovo IdeaPad in for a screen repair, and after numerous delays over two weeks "waiting for the part," I finally got my laptop back with the original broken screen still on it. To make matters worse, the laptop was not put back together properly. The screen was barely held in place, and the hinge cover was so loose it was about to snap off. They essentially held my computer hostage for weeks only to return it in worse physical condition than I left it. Because of their negligence, I had to take my laptop to a different company to fix the housing and hinge damage Supreme Tech caused, which cost me an additional $150. I had paid a $100 deposit which they eventually refunded, along with a $10 "compensation" for my trouble. Giving me $10 for 2 weeks of delays and $150 in new damage is insulting. Response: Thank you for your response, but I need to clarify several inaccuracies. At the time I brought in my laptop, the only issue was water damage affecting the screen. There were no missing screws or pre-existing housing problems, and I had never opened or disassembled the device myself. The physical issues with the hinge and casing only appeared after it was in your possession. While I understand that part delays can happen, the main concern is not the wait, it's that I received my laptop back in worse physical condition, with the original issue unresolved. The screen was still broken, and the device was not properly reassembled, which forced me to seek repairs elsewhere at additional cost. I also did not cancel arbitrarily, I chose not to proceed after extended delays and lack of resolution. A refund of my deposit was appropriate given that no repair was completed, but the $10 compensation does not come close to covering the inconvenience or the additional damage I had to pay to fix. I'm simply sharing my experience as it happened so others can make informed decisions. read more

HUGE WARNING I paid $510 after they told me my motherboard was the only issue. They charged $245 for the motherboard part alone, even though this exact board normally sells for around $130-$150. I trusted them anyway because I just needed my PC fixed. I picked it up, brought it home... and the PC was STILL completely dead. Only after I complained did they suddenly mention the GPU, something they never told me before charging me and replacing the motherboard. So I ended up with an overpriced motherboard replacement a $510 bill and a PC that still doesn't work Avoid this place at all costs. I would never bring a computer here again. Edit: responds I appreciate your response, but my review reflects exactly what happened from my side as a customer. When I first brought in my PC, the diagnostic you provided only mentioned the motherboard failure. There was no mention at all that the GPU might also be defective, and nothing in the invoice or estimate said the repair might still leave the system non-functional. If the GPU issue had been identified or even suggested during the diagnostic, I would not have approved or paid for a partial repair. I paid based on the information you gave me at the time, which stated the motherboard replacement and validation testing would return my PC to working condition. The GPU was only brought up after I paid, picked up the device, and found out at home that the PC still didn't work. That means the original diagnostics were incomplete, and I was charged for a repair that did not resolve the problem you told me it would fix. You did offer to re-check it later, but that doesn't change that the work I paid for did not result in a working PC, and the additional hardware issue wasn't disclosed until after the fact.
