Tom knew right away that the safe could be fixed without much difficulty. He first replaced my control pad. That seemed to be working. But a few weeks later and on a day that my husband was leaving for a biz trip abroad, the safe didn't open. It was a Saturday and I was panicked. Tom responded immediately and was at our home within 20 minutes (he happened to be on a job nearby). He replaced my whole lock and waived the service charge for the visit (since he had come the first time and the first solution didn't work). I thought this was very honest and fair of him (especially since the emergency visit was on a Saturday). In short, he provided excellent service with great value.

The locksmith/owner took the lock and deadbolt apart and then reassembled it and checked the jam where the deadbolt sits when locked / he readjusted the jam. Tested the key himself and then had me test the mechanism inside my home and using a key outdoors. He also Tighten the screws to the front door to assure a Perfect smooth operation. I called a local number and was told a locksmith would come right away. A "1-800" locksmith then…read morecalled and informed me he actually couldn't come until 4 hours later at 1 pm. I agreed and rearranged my day. At 1:18 he called to inform me he will be there soon because he was running 25 minutes late. He actually showed up shortly after 2. The problem was a key stuck in the lock. He takes a look and quotes $179. I was in disbelief so he asked me what I would like to pay and perhaps his manager will approve. He returns and informs me they will accept my price. He proceeds to fix my lock in literally less than 2 minutes (I actually timed him) and takes my still ridiculously high offer. I'm convinced the locksmith was completely aware that it was only a 2 minute job, preyed on me and scammed me for as much money as possible.
