I had to reschedule my appointment an hour after scheduling, and the receptionist was attentive, kind, and flexible, even though it was the start of a holiday weekend. The technician arrived at the beginning of the appointment window and was able to assess the locks and give a quote within minutes. He also gave me the option of having the doors keyed to be the same or different, and explained the benefits of both options. He worked quickly, and was clearly extremely knowledgeable. Simon was a very nice man and the service was fine. However it was SUPER EXPENSIVE to change the lock on one door. He charged over $600 for one lock change. At first he said it would be $250 but then added $350 when he said the lock was "commercial" and he had no choice. However, I had the exact same lock changed a few years ago for a small fraction of that price. So it was $600, plus a $20 service charge, plus tax. Too much. I was desperate, so I paid it. Also it was the weekend and he came quickly after I called, so I have to give him credit for that. And he was a nice person. Still...WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. read more

Simon is a scam artist. The dispatch woman said it would be a$30 service fee and $80 labor depending on time. Simon got here, saw we had an emergency and said it would be $250. I lost the keys to my wife's 2007 Honda Accord. They spent almost 5 hours on a Saturday because of security issues with Honda. Spent a little more than expected however I would have had to take time off work to have the car towed to the dealership. Wound up costing a little less than a weeks salary but there are 52 weeks in a year so Ill make it up.service was quick and service person didnt give up. This lock smith company is a complete rip off. On the phone they tell you 15 minutes but they took 40 to get to my house. They also said $100 to start! That is very leading. When he got here he said $200 to try and pick the lock or break it off. It was a simple lock but he said he couldn't pick it. Then he broke it off and it was $175 or $200 for a new lock. I went with the better one and after he finished putting it on there were gaps around the part that goes against the door. Yelp ad says 10-25% off but he only gave me 10% off the total. Then he added a $30 service charge on top of that. The guy didn't have a business card with him. I was desperate since it was Saturday afternoon and not many places are open even tho they say 24/7. I would never use this company ever again. They are thieves!!! 1 star is too much!!!! read more

I was charged 300$ for him to unlock my door. He couldn't unlock the lock; had to break the lock and even after drilling the lock cylinder, he couldn't open the door for 10 minutes. I did not take him up on his offer to replace the lock for another 200$. This is 2-3x what I have paid in the past for similar service. read more

Absolutely terrible. I locked myself out of my apartment so I called them around 1pm. They quoted $30 to come and $70 for work.They were ready to come in 15 mins but I made an appointment for 4pm just so they have enough time and I ran errands. Our reception area needs a fob to enter and our receptionist leaves at 5pm. So I come at 3:45pm and call them They say they are running late by half hour. So I call at 4:30 and he is still running late. My one hour car parking is expired, my cell is dying, building receptionist left so I couldn't stay in reception area to let him in. Person shows up at 5:15pm and fortunately someone let us in. Now the person gives a $200 quote. Ridiculous. I started walking away so he came down to $130 saying he may have to break the lock. He twists the lock open in less than 15 seconds and yet charged $130. read more
