I took my car up for an oil change and a quick inspection of my car. Hours later, I receive a call that it was going to cost me 3,500 dollars to fix my car. With all the problems they told me that was wrong with my car was impossible. My car drove too smooth for the issues they said I had. They take my car down from the rack and when I went to leave my car had a rock when I turned my steering wheel side to side. I asked them to put my car back on the rack to check it out and i stayed there with my baby while my husband went to pick up our older child from school. They waited for my husband to leave so they could approach me about paying for the job after my husband said no. I paid for an oil change and took my car somewhere else for a second opinion. Come to find out, the oil change was never done and the only thing they got right were the bad ball joints. They wanted to charge me for an entire front end repair when there was nothing wrong with my car. My husband goes back in to confront them for not doing the oil change and they wanted to deny the evidence we had. Then they tried to tell us we were charged for a deep inspection of the car. We didnt ask for a deep inspection. We asked for and oil change and the free quick inspection. I contacted their customer service department and trying to voice my complaint, talking to them reassured me that they really couldn't care less about the customers that keep that place in business and really dont care how there employees are. I will never bring my car back to this place. This place is the poster child of "never trust a mechanic"

Tuffy had the correct diagnosis from the start even after going to specialty trans places in the area and the lowest price and warranty by far. I have gone there ever since. Most recently, I had my battery die and my brakes go out on me twice. Tuffy sent Chuck out to help me out with my battery even on a Saturday (it happened across the street at Kroger) and saved me on a tow. They stood by their warranty when my brake line went bad and pads got damaged. And then got me in next day and had the work completed on my pads, rotors and caliper on my rear brakes by the next morning-even with having to order parts! I even get my oil changed there because they are the most affordable around. Tuffy treats me like I am their family. I know I can always trust them to give me the best price possible. Kathy, Doug and Brian are always friendly and Chuck and the other techs do great work. I love that I can support a small, family owned local business.
