I took the BLS course a few days ago at the Laguna Hills location. It was a great class and Edgar was our instructor. I have taken classes before, but this was the best class I've had! Edgar was engaging with the students and he brought great real life experiences to help us understand. I also liked the immediate hands-on practice we had along with the videos to watch that were very applicable and made it more clear on why we were practicing what we were learning. I took the ACLS class, and I was super impressed at how smoothly the class went even though it was an all day course. At the Orange location, our instructors JJ and Melissa were thorough in their explanations as well as providing real life examples to help us visualize these emergency situations. They both made the class rewarding and fun with the utmost enthusiasm with their mnemonics. I just took the pharmacology and ecg class, it was great! Our instructor Joey was fantastic in explaining ecg strips to us and helped us recognize all the patterns. As for the pharmacology class he was able to help us learn about the medications that we will be expected to know when I take my ACLS class later this week. I go to Surefire CPR whenever I have to get my ACLS or CPR renewed. I decided to take the ECG and Pharmacology class as a refresher for my upcoming ACLS renewal. I usually go to the one in Orange, but I wanted to take the ECG class before my ACLS class. Different locations offer different dates. So the one in Corona was offering the class date I needed. Class size was perfect. Joey was our instructor and he's also a very knowledgeable paramedic. Able to answer all my questions, Helped me to understand the material thoroughly. I felt more prepared to read ECG strips for my job. I was also able to get CEUs for my nurse license requirements. Would definitely take a class here again. read more

We had to renew our CPR/AED/First Aid certification to take our Girl Scouts Troop on Camping adventures. This was the first time I used SureFire and it was by far my favorite experience. Jamie, the instructor (at the Orange Location) made the training so fun and interactive. He used his experience on his job and in his personal life to give us concrete examples. It was succinct and the pace was swift with practicums conducted as we went instead at the end. Their classes are taught by people who actually work out in the field like paramedics, firefighters, etc. so they actually have done CPR. I think this background is really helpful as they can teach from real life experience, not just textbook info. Their classes are well run, efficient, and they add humor in too. Makes the time fly by. Hands down best company to certify/recertify your office. They only have EMT, paramedics, firefighters or nurses teach the class. They know their stuff and usually make the class fun with a little comedy but make sure everyone learns the concepts and techniques well. I have been using them for last 3 recertifications for my office. read more
