While that was totally reasonable, I had a scheduling conflict, and they were awesome enough to shuffle things around and squeeze me in the very same day! wowwie! But we've had troubles with the door not working for a while-off and on. not responding or going half up and then closing again on it's own. when I called it was $$$ just to come and check--too $$ for us. so we've been self fixing--trying lube on the rails, etc. trying to get it to work. forward to 2026 May: It just stopped working. Kept giving error codes that something was in the way--but the area was clear. would not close. so we pulled it manually and then nothing. No response at all. so we called another company to come and look. Herre's their take: 1. The springs used in the installation are the wrong size. Too small for the weight of the door so eventually the motor will burn out. That's $$$! 2. They never did the exterior keyed entry for me, though it was installed outside the door. I'm an Iraq vet w/TBI--short term memory SUCKS--and just totally overlooked that part as it had building stuff there. He said they should have got that wired up, programmed for me too. They removed my old doors and installed a new ones. The most impressive part is that his workers were so cheerful and efficient. In no time at all they were done with their job. A business's workers say a lot about a business. When morale is high, when the workers are courteous and polite, you know that the business is of quality and integrity for both customers and its employees. Of course, idiot me miswrote the check!
