When we first started browsing for ideas for our remodel, we started with flooring because quality flooring can so easily elevate the look and feel of a space. As parents of twin terrors, oops I mean treasures, we also wanted flooring that was safe for kids, as well as safe from kids. It was very important for us to have non-toxic materials because our young children sleep on beds that are low to the floor. We also wanted something durable and practical that could withstand the daily stress of said children. This is where Paradise Flooring comes in. The owner, Lance, instantly puts you at ease as he is very knowledgeable, friendly and takes time to answer various questions. His staff also guided us through the process of ordering and purchasing, which went very smoothly and became the easiest part of the whole remodel. We compared flooring samples from various places, and we could easily pick out which samples came from Paradise each time due to the quality and appearance. We decided on the Aquarius Small Leaf Acacia vinyl flooring, which has a rich, warm tone that is vibrant yet tranquil, and so pleasing to the eye. We have neutral wall colors with primarily gray/greige undertones and the flooring looks gorgeous against it. Paradise Flooring is the BEST! We were redoing our flooring as we were getting ready for the birth of our daughter and this was all happening during the "Stay Home Order" of the pandemic. Lance and Dan were great help and very accommodating in making sure the visit to their showroom was as safe as possible... Dan even offered to drop off flooring samples to our house. The process of choosing our flooring took some time as we were looking for something waterproof and more durable aka baby-proof. Lance and Dan provided us with a lot of samples to choose from and information to ensure we made the best decision. Lance's background as a civil engineer is a plus, as he even explained the specifications of the flooring we were looking at. They did not upsell and just wanted to provide the product that would be best for what we needed. We got our flooring for our kitchen from a very large chain hardware store. When we did the rest of the house we got it from Paradise Flooring. Both were DIY projects for me. Everyday I see the difference in quality between the two side by side. Paradises flooring is thicker and more sound absorbing. It feels better under my feet if that makes sense. As for installation, I did both myself. The chain store flooring was a PITA to lock together and keep together. Paradise was so much easier to do by myself. Needed to replace our toilet and decided to replace the flooring at the same time. Lance took the time to explain the differences in the various waterproof LVT they carry and recommended Metroflor in the Lanikai color to match my home's mid century/modern design. He had enough in stock that we were able to take it home that day. After installing, all I can say is WOW. The flooring totally changed the look and feel of the bathroom! At first with the toilet being the priority, we came in not caring much about what flooring we used, but it made all the difference and now, no one even notices we changed the toilet. I can't recommend Paradise Flooring enough! When I walked in it was a bit intimidating, you need to walk through the warehouse, but when you get to the show room there are samples everywhere. If you are looking for flooring of any kind besides carpet, (who wants carpet?) it's there! I've gone the Home Depot route. Their flooring is Okay. BUT, its not as good. The flooring that Paradise Flooring supplied was so much easier to install! You get what you pay for! I'll never go back to Home Depot! The folks that work at Paradise Flooring are super nice and helped me with every question I had. They made my decisions so easy! Look, style, Sq. footage, they had all the answers! I own a few investment properties and recently needed to do a remodel on kitchen and bathroom in an apartment. The original flooring was linoleum and called up Lance, the owner of Paradise Flooring for advice. He advised that based on the way the apartment is configured and that it's a rental I should go with something very durable like Luxury Vinyl. He had suggested a color that matched my vision for the kitchen and bathroom and would be a good contrast to the wood laminate flooring that covers the rest of the unit. My contractor recommended Maru Flooring to us because they sell Inovar laminate flooring. Inovar claims to be super water resistant, and #1 in Japan, Taiwan, and Malaysia. My husband likes it because it was not too difficult to install and great quality! Today i came down to Maru because we needed transition pieces and 3/4" round moldings. I honestly didn't know what i was looking for, but with the help of the staff i got what i needed and was out of there in less than 10 min! 2 guys helped me. One helped me get the exact pieces i needed and packed it up and even loaded it into my car! The other guy (Wally) took care of my payment and also checked on some information i requested! Both men provided me with exceptional customer service and were friendly! The return policy is 30 days with a receipt and in original condition.
