The people that run this place are good local folks that care about their community, and they deserve your patronage. Part grocery, part knick-knack shop, part sporting goods store, part tavern, part boat repair shop, and part anything-else-you-might-need-in-this-part-of-the-world, I think it's fair to day that this store has been keeping locals fed and afloat for a long time. And I hope they continue to for many years to come.

I mean, look at those photos I posted…read more Here we have a Bayou Bodega, only 10X better because they have a lit up Christmas tree gracing the entryway, serve all your boating needs (gas up your yacht from the dock), interesting snacks (fried peanuts in the shell!), and a lovely backyard where you can sit and enjoy the snacks.
