This has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Santa Cruz County. Located on 41st Ave. between HWY 1 and Soquel, this spot is tucked behind Cafe Cruz, and next door to Discretion Brewing! There seems to be plenty of parking between the designated spots, and other open spaces nearby. You check-in at a little window outside before going in. The first lobby room has a lot of glass and other accessories, as well as promotional items and signage. After walking through, you hit the goodie room. The area is small, but packed with quality products! They have everything from edibles, to vapes, flower, concentrate, beverages, and more! One of the things that keeps me coming back is the prices! They constantly run specials for specific, and even all brands! Not only are the prices low, the listed prices are usually after tax. This is always preferred as to know the "out the door" price when calculating how much you can buy with how much cash you have or is within your budget. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the industry. They are generally patient, will answer questions, and help find the right products for you. I recently had the privilege of meeting the shop dog, Bruce, on my last visit. He was polite, friendly, and came by a few times for some pets! Been coming here for years and it's probably my favorite dispensary in town, I live in Felton but work nearby so it's my go to spot. Prices are great, I like that the tax is included in the price you see so there's no surprise at checkout. The selection here is insane and there are always deals going on. My favorite bud tender is Travis, give this man a raise! He's always nice, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone once in a while you get an employee who's got a bit of a crumby attitude and isn't very helpful, but they usually don't stay here long. I think management and the owners do a good job trying to keep good employees and they're always pleasant when you see them. read more

I have been a customer of this dispensary for 4/5 years now and was an immediate fan after my first visit; the team went above and beyond during that visit. I have gotten to know the staff and the owner and they are just wonderful people to be around and talk to. Brett always says hi when he sees us and makes us feel appreciated. Melody is one of our favorite budtenders, she is absolutely fantastic, and who can forget Bruce and his dad!! My bf and I used to shop here every weekend, but it's harder now with gas prices nowadays. I am not from the area and was looking for a nice local shop to restock on some stuff as I was staying there for a few days. Let me tell you they had so many options and variety's! The owners were so sweet and patient when helping us find what we needed. They even threw in a sample because we weren't sure. They have a 10 year old dog who was the sweetest baby ever! All I have to say is this place knows how to treat a customer and how to promote products! The tax was already added into the prices which was really nice, and their prices were also very good! They do only take debit which I didn't know at first but he was very patient as got it all figured out! 11/10 I would definitely come back here when im in the area!! read more

this place sold me a 1 dollar joint that i didn't notice till I got back home but it was packaged in 2021! How is this even acceptable for a legal dispensary. It is over 4 year old flower that is also prepackaged!! This is very disrespectful to the consumer and people that get given this old product!! cannabis flower has a shelf life just like other products, especially when prepackaged. After this long of time the flower has lost a lot of it's potency and terpene aroma, which both play major factors in the benefits of cannabis. plus this old flower can cause the consumer negative effects in many ways and have misleading Perspectives of cannabis use after this old product. lastly this is totally degrading to the Santa Cruz community how we are known for our proper and good herb! read more

The staff is amazing - helpful, friendly, and always courteous no matter their level of busy-ness. I come here all the time with my Boyfriend Dru. We originally left a good review because the owner is nice and the bud tenders are usually on point. Plus the weed is good. However recently has been a different case. Last week we ordered 4 joints. They accidently gave us 5. Being the good people we are we returned the joint unopened and they were MORE than happy to accept the returned joint. Today we purchased bud that was not to the standard this company usually sells us since they have been out of smooth for over a month. When we saw how bad the weed was we tried to return it unopened and they said they dont accept returns. How Ironic they take retruns when their employees mess up but they wont accept a return to keep loyal customers. If you dont accept returns then we should have been able to keep the joint!!! They care about whats best for them not their customera Also The bud tender hannah had a terrible attitude and when my gf asked to see the weed she pointed at it through the counter.....like that helps....bud tenders should be happy to help out always. The other girl is much more professional than hannah. Wish we had the pleasure of seeing her all the time!!! Time to look for a new place. read more
