There's a variety of great restaurants and you don't even need to leave the property. Breakfast at Maia every morning was something we really looked forward to. As a titanium elite, we were bonvoying and I have to say, the continental breakfast that comes with titanium is plenty. And don't forget to have the orange juice, it's heavenly and included. Service was excellent each morning we were there. The servers can't do enough for you. Maia also has a very nice peaceful ambiance and the windows look out at the pool/ocean. If you want more than a continental breakfast with your status, you can pay an additional $15 and get all the hot food as well. And if you don't have status, you can pay for à la carte breakfast too or the buffet how you like. We also enjoyed Tesoro and Quinn restaurants as well. Our room was on the 9th floor and while it was very nice, it could definitely use some updating. But honestly, with all the great amenities, you can hardly think about needing a fresh coat of paint or new bathroom furnishings or more modern lighting. The room was still very nice. And I loved the bracelet they gave us that was our room key too! The bed was very comfy! The weather was super cold while we were there, however we found some time to enjoy the beach and pool. The gym was very nice as well. There is so much to do.. there's even a bowling alley for those rainy days. If you're looking for a great getaway in Florida, JW is a very nice, relaxing resort for all ages, young and old. And not to forget parking ... there's a self park lot right across the street, which was very easy or you can opt for valet. Enjoy!

Would recommend staying in a Sirene room/suite (adult only tower) if you are traveling without children. The rooms are quieter and offer additional features like access to the adult rooftop pool, breakfast, separate check-in/out lounge, separate beach sitting area, etc. The Gulf front rooms/ suites offer spectacular views of the beach and sunsets. The huge beach is great for sitting, walking, shelling, and playing. Also, lots of water activities like fishing, jet skis, banana boat, parasailing, dolphin cruises, etc. We really enjoyed starting our day with breakfast at Maia's Restaurant. Excellent buffet with omelet station (or you an order off a menu), and great service! Big Thanks to Dolly, as well as Bianca, Nellie, Ally, Calene, Kay, and the rest of the team for treating us royally. Fantastic way to start each day! We are looking forward to our next trip to the JW Marriott Marco Island.

We escaped for a quick Fri-Sun adventure with our crew of eight--three energetic kids, two moody teens, and three grown-ups who are still trying to figure out how to adult. Upon entering our two-bedroom suite, we practically heard angels sing! One master bedroom for the parents (thank you, sweet sleep) and a second room with two queen beds for the kids because sharing is overrated, especially when you have teenagers. Plus, we had a partial ocean view on the 7th floor! Waking up to a sunrise over the water? Instant therapy! Now, let's talk about the activities. I bravely attempted the water aerobics class led by the fabulous Jacob, who could probably teach a fish to swim with his energy! Later, we rocked out to music bingo and tested our trivia skills. Who knew I'd be so competitive about random facts? It was a blast! And get this: they had an ice cream event, and my 3-year-old woke up just in time to snag a cone, blissfully unaware of how close he was to missing this sugary treasure. They even had a "Stuff-a-Bear" event, which was a hit with all the kiddos. As for karaoke that evening? Let's just say I've officially scarred the locals, but hey, it was good therapy to belt out my favorite tunes! Check-out day was a breeze too. They let us hang around and enjoy the amenities, including holding our luggage like true VIPs. I was given great tips on how to squeeze the last bit of fun out of our stay, like using lockers to freshen up after pool time. Genius! And here's a fun story: one night, I dashed to the front desk in search of espresso and cannoli after discovering the sad coffee-less fate after dinner. One kind gentleman went above and beyond, Googling for me and pointing me to a little shop that saved my dessert dreams. Win! Pro tip: snag a cabana if you have little ones trust me, those chairs with umbrellas disappear faster than my kid's ice cream! We lounged by the pool from 10 AM to 6 PM without a care in the world, while our amazing server kept our drinks flowing and my kids giggling. Overall, this Marriott is a delightful spot for families. If you're considering a getaway, do it! You won't be disappointed. And if you see a slightly off-key karaoke performance on the schedule, just know I'm the one putting on the show!

However, the room I was assigned looks directly at a dumpster. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was told that "owners get priority" over paying guests. The only alternatives offered were completely unacceptable: a room with a hole in the bathtub, or a $100 resort credit.Paying $715 a night to stare at a dumpster--and then being treated as a low priority by staff--is poor customer service and a violation of the room type I paid for. I request that management contact me immediately to move me to the correct ocean view room category and provide appropriate compensation for this sub-standard experience.Sincerely

The location is absolutely perfect--situated in a very private and extremely safe neighborhood. One of my favorite parts of each day was enjoying the gorgeous view of the small lake right off of my private balcony. The efficiency studio was flawless and had everything I needed, including a full setup with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the necessary utensils and cookware. It made cooking my own meals incredibly convenient, especially since the grocery store is less than a 3-minute bike ride away! The amenities are fantastic; the pool was pristine, kept at the perfect temperature, and I happily spent many days relaxing out there. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. The employees are so grateful, helpful, kind, and caring--it's obvious they genuinely love their jobs. A huge shoutout to Nicole, Dianna, and Christine for their wonderful hospitality! The cleaning staff was also on top of absolutely everything. The room was spotlessly clean, and whenever I needed a quick replacement, like extra trash bags, they were at my door in no time. I can't recommend the Lakeside Inn enough and look forward to returning!

While we typically stay at extremely high-end hotels for a quick overnight stay, this was a good choice.

The office was closed due to our arrival day being Saturday and it was also Easter break so the office didn't reopen until the following Tuesday when we brought this up with the manager he offered us a 50.00 dinner voucher for my troubles. It was very insulting and disrespectful. When I told him that we will speak with his manager Michael's response was " good luck with that " We honestly looked for another facility but again it's Florida on Easter weekend everything was booked. PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND DONT RENT HERE - THE TREATMENT IS HORRIBLE AND THE MANAGER NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER JOB - HIS MANAGERIAL SKILLS ARE NOT SO MANAGERIAL. Actually the head of the sanitation crew was apologetic and had more common sense than Michael (the manger) did.

Each building is 3ish stories with the first being parking and the top 2 being 2 bed / 2 bath condos. They do a good jump of updating everything throughout the years and the staff is always friendly. Again. This isn't a giant luxury hotel. If that's what you're looking for you're going to be disappointed. If you are looking for a friendly community to have a relaxing vacation sipping drinks on the beach and grilling at the pool this is your place. There is plenty of space for everyone and you won't have to fight for space like some of the other spots. Long gone are the days there were more lizards than people on Marco but if you ignore the giant castle hotel next door sometimes you can revive the feeling of what it used to be like.

When we complained they offered to refund $351. Getting it however took 3 weeks while they and booking.com pointed their fingers at each other. I spent Hours trying to resolve it. If they'd just given us the correct room it wouldn't have been a problem for anyone. The management of the hotel got downright nasty and sent me an email telling me to stop bothering them!! I finally was able to get booking.com to talk directly to the Inn to resolve the issue. Good - We liked the room - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lanai. We were on the end right over the restaurants and the stage. We actually liked having the nightly music. We made cocktails, pulled our chairs out to the railing and enjoyed the show. It ended at 9pm, so early enough to still relax in your room if you wanted to. The strip of restaurants and bars was perfect, the food was good and you could go down to get a meal or a snack or a drink. The suite was large enough for 4 of us and we played cards at the dining table. Not so good. I ended up in the room over the bars - there was a light in the stairwell that glowed into our room. It was impossible to sleep. I complained to the manager and he tried to remove the lightbulb but no go. He went to home depot and got a blackout shade and installed it in our room. So that was helpful. I can't believe no one ever complained before. Housekeeping was bad. We had to ask every day, and they still barely showed up to do anything. I finally would wait to see the cart outside and take my own towels and soap. We got into an argument with the manager because our friends broke a bottle in our room and we asked if someone could bring a broom and vacuum to sweep it up. They said they did when they obviously hadn't. We went and got the manager and showed him the remaining glass on the floor. He was apologetic. Our A/C did not work when we showed up and we told them. 2 days later they put a whole new A/C unit in our suite. The pool was servicable but not particularly nice. Too far away and boring. No amenities. A cocktail bar or music would have been nice. No bathroom except a porta-potty outside the gate. Yuk. The kitchen was nice - but there weren't really the right things in there to make anything! Not even a bowl. No toaster. 1 knife. So a whole nice under equipped kitchen was pretty useless. Staff was frequently not in the office and did not follow through on our requests. We paid $3900 for a 7 night stay or $557 a night average. I've never paid that much to stay anywhere - for that price I'd expect premium services and great accommodations and a fancy pool. Way too expensive.
