The machines that are broke do not have a sign on them. I put my laundry substances in the machine. I inform the Spanish lady and she tells me the manager does not want a sign saying the machine is broken. She talked to me loudly like I was saying something wrong. On June 2, 2021 at 10:45pm, my friend and I arrived at this laundromat. As we entered, the young female staff immediately said we close at 12. Ironically, at the same time, our response was, "Ok, it's 10:45". Then, I said, "Are you telling us we can't wash and we need to leave?". "You'll don't close to 12, which means we have a little over an hour to do what we need to do. Besides, it's other people still here drying their clothes and if you have to stay a few minutes pass 12 to insure everyone is finish, it is your job to do so. Then she began speaking Spanish to her colleague. If we didn't have our clothes inside already, we would've left back out. At 11:33, one of the washers stopped and my friend placed the white clothes in the dryer. Immediately following, the color clothes stopped. He looked up and the young lady walked by him stirring and he felt as if she was giving him an hint. So, he said "Check the laundromat down the street hours because the staff conduct is unprofessional and I just want to get out of here. I will never come back here". After checking, Yes laundromat hours, we left with wet clothes very upset and dissatisfied. I thought it was necessary to let the female staff know because of her behavior and making us feel uncomfortable. We are leaving with wet clothes and going down the street to another laundromat to dry our clothes. She showed no empathy. Her behavior is unacceptable. We should've never been made to feel we couldn't fulfill both washing and dryer while at this laundromat. Therefore, we will never go here again. This place is terrible. They do not have enough heat in the dryers. They are charging more money for low quality. Scam likely.

It's usually pretty clean. Definitely busy on the weekends. The girls try to keep it up but on the weekend they may need an additional person to keep the machines and floor tidy. I do appreciate that they have machines that take cards. That's a plus read more

My washer broke down and I had to use the public laundry. I was dreading having to drag everything there and dealing with the whole quarter situation, but the machines were modern and allowed you to swipe your card. I must say, the place was quite busy, but surprisingly clean which was a huge relief. Went in on a Saturday night (10pm). Wasn't packed, all the machines seemed to work and the attendee was nice. I had one issue and it was resolved quickly. It cost me $20 to wash & dry my bedding (comforter, sheets & pillowcases) and four loads of clothing. read more

The 1st time I experienced the poor service, I find my clothes moderately wet with items partially dry AND this time, an error on the machine display. I brought this to the attendant's attention. She clears the error, and later laughs and tells me it's my clothes. I then ask for a manager, and although the manager on the phone is not on site, she insists the washer is fine, and hangs up. Today, the same thing... "I don't speak english." I show her there is not 60lbs of clothing, and run her hands over 1/3 of the clothes that have NOT been touched by water. She calls the manager, and the manager pertains she doesn't understand that my clothes are not WASHED! I tell her that is likely the water supplied is not enough to clean the designated washer 60lbs. Surf N Suds Staff is very unprofessional. There is no manager available to rectify issues with their machines. I went to wash my clothes and attempted to use 4 large 80lb machines, which cost $9.00 each. I uses their change machine to get $40 in quarters. I counted and lined $9.00 on each machine. I recounted twice and even counted my change to make sure I had $4.00 in left. Which I did. After putting all of my quarters in the first machine, I noticed it was still asking for an additional quarter. I tried to seek assistance from the lady who worked there, however she laughed at me and told me I didn't put enough in the machine. She also accused me of dropping a quarter. I showed her the other machines where I still had quarters lined in the amount of $9 each and asked her to wait to watch me put the money. The next machine was fine, however she refused to assist the the other machines. And of coarse when I got to the fourth machine it shorted me again asking for an additional 25 cents. I asked for a refund could not get it and tried to request a manager without any assistance. The money was not the issue as much as being accused of trying to get over and laughed at. I thought to myself how many customers are accepting the loss and just adding more coins to their machines. I'm not sure if laundromats are regulated but it seems unethical for businesses to come in low income communities and shortened customers without being penalized. I don't live in the area of this laundromat, but I am a small business owner who would never treat customers with any type of disrespect when they come to utilize my service. read more
