They have blowers and vacuums after the wash. The monthly plan is pretty nice and most of the competition is doing the same. I enjoy the ease of this place in availability as they seem to be popping up all over the Central Valley. Being able to just drive thru and get my car washed at any location is extremely nice. The vacuum and blowers are just a great way to really get that cleaning of your car done more efficiently too. I do wish there was some option to do a more thorough cleaning with like a pay to use shampooing stall or something. If they had an option to get a deeper clean done that would be a great addition to this wonderful place. The customer service is fantastic! In reading other reviews I find it highly impossible that the staff was rude. I've had a membership since they opened and have never had an issue. On June 4, 2025, I took my truck in to get washed. I had a lot of bugs on the windshield and let the young man know when I checked in. We have a monthly subscription for $36. I went through the wash and the roller on the right side wasn't even turning and only one roller even touched my hood and windshield. Needless to say, my bugs were still there. I went back around and let them know about the bugs, AGAIN, and also let them know the rollers weren't working. A mechanic was nearby and he heard me tell them. He responded saying that they just fixed that roller and that it would be running when I went through again. It was, but when I went through, it shot black grease down the right side of my car, the side where the roller was being fixed. I got out to dry it and clean my glass and I saw it. I touched it and it was fresh. SO, I got back in line and had the young man walk around and take a look at it. I went through again and nothing changed. The grease was still there. I spoke to the young man again and asked to speak to a manager. A "supervisor" came out and met me at my truck after going through my fourth time (I had just told the young man at the front, 'I promise it will be my last time.' The 'supervisor', who couldn't have been more than 19-20 years old, asked "are other cars getting grease on them?" as if I was making the whole thing up and that the newly worked on rollers didn't cast grease onto my truck. He was implying that if other cars weren't complaining, then I must be wrong. He literally said there is nothing they could do about it shrugging his shoulders. I said my truck was dirtier now then when I went through the wash and he just shrugged. Clearly he was not a supervisor, because he clearly offered ZERO customer service - if he indeed was a supervisor, then Surf Thru doesn't have a prayer of staying in business. I returned through the front again and apologized. I told him 'I know I said I wouldn't return, but my truck is dirtier now than when I first came in. Can I speak to your manager?" Another young man appeared in a couple of minutes claiming to be the manager; he appeared to be 24-25 years of age. He asked if I had told the guy at the beginning of the car wash about it. I told him that I had, but that he told me he couldn't cross to the other side of the car for safety reasons - it was against company policy. So, "the manager" told me he would come over and he offered to pressure wash that side of my car. So I went to the beginning of the car wash and they stopped the line while he pressure washed my car. I waived and thanked him and went through the car wash for the 5th time. Here are the results of 5 CAR WASHES AT SURF THROUGH... I still had bugs on the windshield, and there was still grease all down the side of my truck. I was hot. I took pictures of the truck. All the pictures you see are AFTER 5 CAR WASHES... I went home and washed my own truck in my own driveway. Surf Thru car wash sucked an hour out of my life that afternoon that I won't get back. My daughter took her car through two days later on June sixth. Please see the pictures of how well they did on her car. She still had crud all over the hood and the windshield, which had some writing on it from a recent tow, wasn't even close to bug free or clean... DO NOT GO TO THIS CARWASH UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR DAMAGED. Last weekend we went to get our truck washed. We have the subscription. They were very busy. I (the passenger) noticed that it seemed like we were pretty close to the truck in front us but didn't think anything of it because we have such a big truck so it could have just appeared that way to me. Anyhow as our truck was covered with soap and we couldn't see anything we feel a jolt and heard a crash. Somehow we hit the truck in front of us. Not sure how that happened as we couldn't see anything. The employees finally realized then came over. They tried to get the truck in front of us back on the rails and said he moved out of them. They said your truck is fine we are restarting the wash. We of course parked to check and it wasn't. They took the truck owners info and ours and said someone would contact us after the cameras were reviewed. When someone finally did they basically said it's our issue and we had to take care of it. So now what do we do? Drive around with a damaged truck? Go after the person in front of us insurance when we have no proof to show what even happened? This is such BS! Something went wrong and they won't admit it. It was either their doing or the truck in front did something to cause this. Again we have no way of proving anything and they are no help. read more

So I get the monthly subscription thinking this is great. I can skip the line be in the fast lane and get my truck washed in no time. Well ,What is the point of having a separate line for people who pay a monthly subscription if you're going to let your attendant help five customers who are paying individually before they open your gate for a subscription person who is loyal month after month after month. Then the guys scrubbing the window doesn't even scrub the window ?? He takes the brush and moves it around then starts waving for next car. I've subscribed to the monthly wash service for a few months now and there are problems with how the attendants handle the subscribing customers. First of all, dozens of times have I pulled up to get a quick wash (one of the main reasons to subscribe is to not have to stop and take the time to pay) BUT... Before the cashier even begins talking to the person in the "slow lane" they will approve their wash and open their gate as you're pulling up, THEN interact with them for the air freshener and transaction and such. Leaving your SUBSCRIBING CUSTOMER sitting there WAITING and looking at a "waiting for gate" message for sometimes minutes on end while they process the transaction the next gate over. WAIT UNTIL ALL IS DONE BEFORE YOU APPROVE THE WASH AND OPEN THEIR GATE. This is common sense. Secondly... Because of this practice, several times I've gotten another customers "epic" wash while THEY get the ultimate wash that I paid for! Infuriating. I get this service to save time, not go through twice. Now for the machines... This location ROUTINELY does not touch the passenger side of my car from midway up. Especially after a truck passes through. Also... The tire shine seems to do my passenger wheels fine but leaves an incredible amount of dirt on my wheels on the driver's side. This is EVERY time. Lastly, it never washes or dried the rear of the vehicle well at all. So... I have to wash get out, wipe up all the clean water/soap left on the back with a rag, and then use it to wash the passenger side from midway up because the machine missed it. Use a shammy to dry it. Then run around to the drivers side and clean both wheels... It's almost as much work as washing it at home, and it doesn't do it as well as you'd do at home. I canceled my subscription this month. I repeatedly reported the passenger side brushes not working correctly and the dirt problem the armor all tire applicator on the drivers side has and they do nothing about it. Done. read more

I asked the attendants to spray under the rims to get the mud off. When I got through the wash, parked, and got out to wipe down the sides I looked under the rims. This is what I went home with! I'm told the pressure of the pressure washers isn't good enough, or that there isn't enough time to properly do the job as the tracks move cars forward too quickly. It's sad that I have to go home and spray under the rims with a garden hose to get the rest of my car clean. I really enjoy the convenience of this place and for the most part it's ability to get the dirt from the top side of my car. Just wish it was a more complete car wash. read more

I have a membership here and I regret it so much. If water drops was still in Tulare I'd have my membership with them instead. The two guys scribing today(August 12th) from 1:30-1:50 didn't even pretend to like their job. On top of that putting little to no effort into scrubbing WITH a bucket filled with what looked like just water! Not soapy or foamy at all! And I know because I saw them "scrub" the car in front of me too. I had to go through a second time for a wash to get some bird shit and dirt off AGAIN. Which I have to do every single time. This is what my car still looked like after my second wash and I had to ask the guy guiding me in to let them know to actually scrub because this was my second time through. Very poor job. I took my new car to this location and as I was starting to go thru the car wash the guys cleaning with the brushes before starting into the car wash hit my grill with the handle of the brush . I saw this and heard it! After going thru the wash I stopped at the vacuum area and looked and sure enough they damaged the front grill on my car. I called to speak to the owner and was hung up on 2 times , I then called the visalia location, I told Them the situation and spoke to there manager he said it would be passed on to the manager at the tulare location and someone would call me. 3 days later I haven't received a phone call. This car wash is absolutely terrible as far as quality of work and friendliness from their employees. You're rushed in purchasing a wash, pressured to purchase a membership, then rushed car after car as you enter the actual car wash, therefore the quality of work is not there because good work takes time At $18.00 for a car wash, I expect the bugs to be off my windshield, mud of my tires and wheel wells, and the soap completely washed off. Yes, the soap is never washed completely off and the rainbow colored soap is left on your paint!!! This time, the cup ring was still on my sunroof glass. There isn't anything worse than having to get back in line and the way you're treated because youre wanting the car wash you purchased from their premium package. The above listed is unacceptable. Nestled on Bardolino Dr. right in between Home Depot and Walmart. I prefer coming to this Surf Thru Express than the Visalia location simply because my C-Rolla never gets smeared with grease, and the staff consistently give a good scrub down. Anyway, I came here since the palm trees in my driveway shat all over my car so I was silly enough to pay for an Ultimate Wash, and WOW the car in front of me with a basic Express Wash looked just as clean as my C-Rolla. I learned my lesson from there on. I only pay for Express washes. The vacuums pick up nicely, and there are air pressure hoses that works good too in removing dust on the dashboard, caution watch your face! Staff is friendly, and they give you a dashboard wipe with trash bag. read more

Over this last weekend, I was visiting my parents in Tulare, and decided to get my truck washed. I had bought a prepaid card from Surf Thru over the holidays, 6 Ultimate Washes, knowing that I could use them whenever I came home. On Saturday, I decided to go and use one to get my truck cleaned off from the trip. It all started off normally, even though it was a particularly busy Saturday for them, long lines, but not their fault. After waiting in line, then in the queue, I went through the car wash and noticed that the Armor all wheel cleaner didn't turn on for me, nor did the additional drying wheels. Sure enough the sign at the end read, "you just received an Epic Wash" which is a lower end package, not the highest wash, which I had paid for, the Ultimate. So I drove back around, and waited in line again, and explained to the clerk what had happened, she understood and asked if I'd like to go through again, and made sure to mark up my windshield so that it wouldn't be missed. Lo and behold, as I made my way through again, the armor all didn't trigger, nor did the drying wheels... You just received the Epic Wash... so again, I go back through the line to the same clerk. Now I've been at there for about 20 minutes- and still waiting in line. This time I get to the front of the wash and the clerk flags down the employee at the head of the wash and he manually punches something into their control panel. Finally I'm going through and everything seems good, it's definitely the ultimate this time, however, the drying wheels come down, and begin doing their job, and as I go to drive out of the wash, I notice all these streaks on my hood and windshield. I thought it may just be wet, but as I made the drive back to my parents house, I notice it's not just wet. It's dirtier now than when I went there in the first place. So I get home and have to wash the truck by hand. I've attached some photos where you can see the half I cleaned off, and the half of what Surf Thru left on my truck. Needless to say I am disappointed, feel like I wasted my money on this card, and wound up wasting about an hour of my time because of choosing to have my truck washed at Surf Thru. read more

Never had a problem with this wash and my car always comes or clean and if there's bugs left and I ask to go through again they let me. It's not going to get your car spotless and perfect guys c'mon it's only a $10 wash place and it's like 1 minute wash. People expect so much for so little. Since moving to Tulare, this has become our primary location to wash our car. We pay for their monthly unlimited wash program and have really enjoyed it. We are always greeted with multiple smiles and fast service. Now keep in mind that the wash itself is a machine. That means that occasionally it does act up. For example, one time the soap didn't dispense properly. But the staff was on it and we just drove thru again. No real problem and we still ended up with a shiny clean car :-) read more

Stopped to get my car washed early this morning. One employee that was supposed to be doing the pre cleaning with the brush did nothing. My windshield was a mess when I got through the wash. Went through a second time and got the excuse "sometimes bugs are hard to get off". If you put a little effort in your job I wouldn't have had to go through 2 times. My windshield was still dirty!! This place is awesome! Put your car in neutral and let them take care of the rest. They prescrub your windows and provide a free dashboard wipe and garbage bag every time. Their three options are $6,$9,or $12 and even the cheaper washes are well worth it. Did I mention free vacuums and air hoses?!:) Always long lines on the weekends, so beware of that! read more

If you have a small car the tire shine will go all the way down the sides if the car, are you wearing khaki pants? you will have tire shine on the back of your calves. low profile tires? your wheels will have goo all over them, not that they got clean anyway... read more
