This was one of the most thrilling helicopter rides I have ever been on. While driving from the…read moreairport, I noticed a sign about Magnum Helicopters advertising they did "doors off" helicopter flights. I was intrigued by that. Earlier that week, I had done another helicopter tour with another company that was more sedate but good as well. The day b4 my flight back to the states, I decided to give Magnum a try. I was looking for a thrilling ride that could rival skydiving (I used to skydive many years ago). This ride gave me the thrill I was looking for. It was so fun to have the doors off, be strapped in, and hear the wind rushing by. This place is very very conscientious about safety. You watch a safety briefing on a video, etc. The ground crew takes good care of you and makes sure you are strapped in well, etc. Our pilot was Josh and he made the whole trip fun. He was an excellent pilot, took us to see all the important sights, and had great banter with the passengers. You can tell he is very experienced with piloting a helicopter and very safe too. Feeling the wind blow in your face, mussing up your hair as you fly around was a lot of fun. We could bring our phones with us to take pics and videos but they had to be in a plastic bag case tethered to our wrist (case and tether is available for rent or purchase). Magnum Helicopters is also based upon the Magnum PI show. The helicopter is painted in those colors and there is a Ferrari that one can sit in (in the waiting area) and gets pics in. I am hoping to come back to Oahu later this year so I can visit the other islands. If I do, I'll be sure to come back to Magnum Helicopters to get another thrilling ride

I was looking at about $700 for a one week stretch from a mainstream rental car place. I was able to get a full week with a decent car for $250!!! The tires looked a little bald, and it certainly wasn't a brand new car, but the AC worked great, and it did a fantastic job of getting us from point A to point B. I would have been happy to drive a rusty bucket around for $35/day, but we had a comfortable white Buick Encore. Tom was personable and even gave us a ride to the airport when we turned the car in! I realize experiences can be vastly different for people, but I was so impressed with the service and the reasonable cost for a long term rental. I will definitely recommend Tom's place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced rental and will be more than happy to go back myself in the future. Thank you, Tom!

My friends were stoked when they saw a guy in a suit holding up a paper with their name on it. They were even more impressed when they saw the TESLA. My friends would not stop talking about the car so later we booked one of the Tesla's to take us out on the town. The drivers were both very friendly and easy going. They let us choose any kine music and they stopped anywhere we asked them to for any last minute needs. For a small charge they will meet you with a lei, if requested.

I booked my boss and his family a car transfer from the Honolulu airport to the Four Seasons. I received price quotes from quite a few private car service companies, and Island Limousine was by far the least expensive. They even had child car seats available that most services didn't seem to have available. The pick-up from HNL went smoothly and Arthur even sent me a Yelp message letting me know that the party was picked up so I didn't have to wonder. So sweet! Unfortunately, the driver was late for the return trip, so my boss had to book an expensive, last-minute car transfer via the hotel. Arthur went above and beyond and provided a full refund for both trips. A top notch company!!

I wanted to make this review cause the photos posted on here does zero justice to how beautiful this place really is! The bathrooms and hot shower houses were clean and it felt really good to have it available! The place is also secured. There were staff on site in case we had questions, Tara was very helpful in answering all my questions! We camped at oama left and we had oama right neighbors. It wasn't that bad of a distraction at all, there was a lot of space available for both of us. For this campsite you have to pay for a minimum of 12 campers, but it wasn't too bad considering it's a big space for tents and tables. 2 picnic tables were already provided so that was good! The hot showers were a great touch, after a long day. The beach was walking distance, we overnight fished and had a great time. Some of the rules: there are activities but they are available for ala cart purchase, there is a pool there but you have to rent a lifeguard, you can't have day visitors come by, you're given wristbands for the stay. There are also assigned parking stalls per camp site, we had 3 for ours. Will definitely be booking this place in the future! It's a really nice getaway...

Spent the long labor day weekend at camp mokuleia for our annual labor day camping trip. we always…read morechoose campsite 5 because we like the layout. The site is gated and feels very safe. There are bathrooms and hot showers and we always have a great time. The swimming in the area is not the best. Lots of reef in the shoreline but you can walk a little ways down and have better swimming spots. The only downside to the location is the parking lot is far so lugging your things gets exhausting. There is an entrance closer on the other side but we are not allowed to use it. Bathrooms are also extremely far and is a nightmare for your early morning or late night bathroom needs. Every time we've been there, parking was a mess. You're assigned a parking spot for your site but no one follows the rules. Also not enough parking. Our site allows 4 stalls but has a 10 person max. We are 5 couples, total 10 people which means 5 cars. All things aside, we love this location and will definitely be back but I would love to see improvements with a second bathroom on the other side as well as parking or drive in options for offloading and unloading.
