I definitely procrastinated on renting one because I know it's expensive. My parents and they referred me to Lucky Owl because they heard my niece use them when she comes to town. So I went online and their prices were reasonable and they offer a kamaʻāina discount! I booked online and called them to confirm all the details. They really helped me out in my time of need. My car was at Les Brodie Waipahu for repairs and the manager at Lex Brodie promised to pay for the first day of car rental. There was however a mix up and poor communication, and this has happened before, so I was charged for one extra day. I tried calling today, Saturday and waited on the phone for someone to pick up, and finally after a long wait, someone did, the manager Jorge. I explained to Jorge the situation, but he was not friendly nor helpful, I kept trying to have to tell him to call Lex Brodie and talk to them and fix this overcharge. Should've he have thought of this himself? So, I am still waiting for the accounting department of Enterprise Waipahu to refund my money and I hope they do. Depending how this situation is handled will determine if I will continue to rent cars from Enterprise Waipahu.

Pro tip: Avoid coming around 12-1pm, they close down for lunch and the line gets backed up. I came in last time right before their lunch break, and you could tell that they were going quickly to get through all the cars waiting so they could go on break. Overall, they are really friendly and even with the line it seems to move very efficiently. It does seem a little dangerous when the line of cars goes out of the parking lot and there's a pile up of cars on the side of the main road. They seem pretty efficient but what annoyed me is that I did not realize is that one line is for re-inspect and the other is for the regular inspection. First time I've encountered two lines. The dude (younger of the two) who came to my window said, "you got your papers for re-inspect?" I said, um re-inspect? Then he tells me, "yeah you're in the wrong line." And just walked away. Mind you, I'm parked in the middle of the long line and had to get out of line and turn around in a tight spot. Ugh. Then I could only assume that the other line was for regular inspections. But there is no sign to indicate what the lines are for. Pretty rude on his part too. I get that they're busy but a little customer service goes a long way. Remember, we're patrons of your business.
