He definitely enjoyed his visit here while attending a birthday party. He was too small for the zipline and climbing walls, but enjoyed the foam pit, dodge ball, basketball, slides, and other trampolines. The hosts were kind to us all.

The picnic tables are where they host birthday parties

Surge adventure park is located inside of Regency Square Mall. Although the mall is dead Surge is alive and well. We waited about15 minutes to get inside the park. While waiting we had to fill out a waiver form. You also have to purchase their safety socks which are about 4 bucks a pop. They host select specials during the week for discounted prices like 2 for 1 and/or reduced prices for toddlers which is a really nice perk. They have several play areas for the kids: * Ninja course- which is like an America Ninja warrior style course. *climb house: the sign says it's for little kids 4&under but no one is standing there enforcing that. *bounce basketball: you jump on a trampoline to dunk the ball *dodge ball: this is a huge attraction for older kids. A lot of smaller kids got hurt playing in the dodge ball area. *arcade: you can play games and win prizes They have a few other attractions as well but the above mentioned are the ones my kids loved. This place like so many others is being impacted by Labor shortages. There were only 2 employees managing the entire place. Between getting people checked in and doing the occasionally sweep to make sure everyone was safe there was no time for sanitizing or cleaning anything. There were noticeable piles of trash and overflowing waste cans. Behind the counter was also full of clutter.

Trash from yesterdays events I guess

I wish i could give 0 stars. Arrived for a birthday party that was to begin at 10:00 a.m. today. Arrived around 9:55 and the place was dark and locked up. Parents of the birthday boy arrived and were shocked to see that no one was there. They called many numbers, got no answer and one person saying "oh someone is on their way." One person to work a birthday party with 30 kids? By 10:30 no one had showed up so we ended up singing happy birthday with cupcakes in the atrium of the dark mall. Never again. I feel so bad for the parents who were promised and paid for a party to get nothing. I pre signed the waiver with the party information listed, so it's not like they didn't know it was happening. Also, there was a dumpster of trash outside of the place with a pizza box completely open. So unsanitary and just asking for rodents. Added: i can't reply to the managers response but no one had covid. I was there with the birthday boy and his family (plus his 20 guests) as his parents tried to get someone to open the facility. They were not assisted in any way.

    Terrible sign

The equipment was ok but the place was severely understaffed. They hosted a line out the door because there was only one person checking everyone in on a Saturday at noon. I asked what was going on, and was told their boss just left. So they left the staff on a Saturday at noon. Great management. The facility was pretty dirty and reeked of low effort. Between trash on the floor and hand written signs for information that seems permanent, it really didn't make you feel like the rest of the place was maintained well, especially when your kids are jumping into foam pits. Suggestion: get some permanent signs made to look the least bit professional. And vacuum and sweep the floors. Also, maybe support the staff if you're managing the place.

This place is more than a jump house it's a full inside amusement park!! Came here for my little sisters birthday party and she was satisfied to the fullest. They have all the traditional bouncy house trampoline plus diving in the pit, obstacles, basketball, and climbing. This place even has a little people zone. This is perfect for all ages. They have a snack bar as well.

Why is the party check in line a single person? There should be a better system to check in for parties.

For their arcade, you have to use a card that you buy credits on to. In our opinion, the games were a little expensive. I think it's more directed towards parents who want to drink and offload their kids in this area, but for those of us already spending a good amount on drinks, the price on the games kinda sucks. We're used to a cover for all you can play or something a little more affordable. They do have a lot of great, newer games. It definitely kept us entertained for a while. They also had a great variety. It was pretty empty when we got there a little after lunch, but by 4pm or so it started raining and they were PACKED. The drinks were good, nothing special. A couple draft cocktails that tasted like you would expect. Some good beer options. It's a great spot in the area, huge bar area that can fit a lot of people and a really great patio.

I will honestly even make the trip up just to come hang out at River City. When you walk inside you have a hostess stand where someone is waiting the help you out. Everyone that we had contact with employee wise were great. Everyone was helpful, kind, and professional We ate first while we waited for our lanes to be open. There is absolutely no complaint about the food here. Everything was great. I had a BLT sandwich. It was jam packed with crispy bacon that I asked for, lettuce, tomato, mayo sandwiched between 2 thick slices of bread. The pizzas looked delicious. They are made in a fire pizza oven. All of the food came out piping hot. Out waitress was great. She was attentive and made sure everything came out, and our drinks were always filled. The waffles were a perfect sweetness, and had a good amount of berries and paired with syrup that I think was maple syrup. My friends, and husband raved about their drink with alcohol. So kudos to the bartenders. The dry rub wings had a great crispy to them and they did not lack seasoning. Lastly, get the cheddar biscuits. They are made fresh, and had great flavor. They had scoop of butter, grape and strawberry jelly. When it came time for bowling. Our bill and drinks were transferred over to the alley tab. Our shoes were waiting for us at the lanes. Bowling was a breeze, and navigating the computer system to keep score was easy. The seating in the alleys were leather couches, and a table to have food at. There was a waitress walking around getting anything we needs, like food, drinks or problems that needed to be solved. Bathrooms were clean and amusing with signage. It made me giggle. The supplies were well stocked. The alleys and property inside and out were very clean. The surrounding area seems to be making a change, but it is still questionable in some areas, and there is a lot of construction nearby. I always felt safe though. There was a misunderstanding with the reservation process and turns out we never had a reservation. Either way Ben stepped up and just made things right. He was great. He took care of us. I've visited twice within the past month -- once on a chilly weekend day to explore all the sights, and again this past weekend for Neon Night. The museum itself is pretty dense with exhibits. The Power of Poison exhibit was very well thought out and loaded with details and visuals. You could easily spend an hour in there. I enjoyed the Boost exhibit the most, as it was hands on. I don't have kids, so I can't speak for the kids-focused activities, but I did enjoy the reptile room quite a bit too -- especially the "search" for certain creatures in their tanks. Neon Night was well done and attended by seemingly half of the city. I kept running into people I knew. I'd definitely attend one of their after-hours events again in the future. At $25, admission was reasonable. Drinks were also cheap. A cup of wine was just shy of $7. I was shocked that the dome show was narrated, as I was expecting it to be more of a movie vibe. I do wish they'd add a coat check. It's nice they have a parking lot adjacent to their building, but it's still a decently long walk when it's 20 degrees outside.

I decided to take my mom to a dome show on a whim and was a little underwhelmed. I wasn't expecting it to be "live" and narrated by a person. I was expecting a recorded show. A movie, I guess. Documentary. The live part allows you to interact, which the kids seem to enjoy. But to me, that felt unorganized and not what I was there for. I know now, and will change my expectations. Maybe there are other "movies." I also didn't like how the navigation into the auditorium leads you to the bottom--the worst seating. It should lead you to the top where the best seating is. We didn't do the full monty and see the exhibits. Definitely would like to return to take it all in.
