At 80, you go to the Dr. every couple of months, and I always go in with my dad, because I am usually the one describing symptoms, asking questions or keeping track of any treatment. Dr. Salmon always takes his time, listens well and his treatment has kept Dad in as good of health as we could expect for his age and conditions. He is quiet, dignified, kind. At one point a friend gave my dad a gift of consultation and treatment from a holistic healer in Ozark, because his gout was so bad and Dad's allergic to the gout medicine Salmon prescribed. After 3 weeks under this woman's care he was weak as a kitten, curled up in his chair very nearly unresponsive, and I thought he was literally dying. No exaggeration, I was scared to death. I called Salmons office, he was back to me in 20 minutes and told me to get rid of that crap she had him on and the diet too. He said" you let him eat whatever the hell he wants - watch the salt". Dad perked up that day, improved steadily. Hmm, not sure if this is so much a review for Salmon as an indictment of a certain lady holistic healer in Ozark, lol.

Went to the Cox emergency room this evening with appendicitis sit there and cried for 3 hours…read morebefore they ever even came in to see me and then the doctor walked in and wanted to know when the last time I used was I don't use anything illegal but the doctor treated me like I was there for drugs I told him to stick his drugs up his ass when the first thing you say to someone is when is the last time you used and they already drew blood so they can test it something is extremely wrong with this hospital I've only been to Cox emergency apartment twice both times was absolutely horrible I wouldn't recommend anybody take their dog there they told me my temperature when I got there was 98.9 I took my temperature 15 minutes before I left to go there it was 102.3 and after walking out I came home and took my temperature again and it's 102.5 but nowhere else to be seen so hopefully I make it through tomorrow and my appendix doesn't bust if it does I hope my kids get rich I have never ever been treated like that in my life

Not only was the person after me seen and left before I'm seen but so was the walk-in seen and released. We're finally called back at 11:55. We're ushered in a room so tiny I can't even fit in with my child. He is sitting in a chair and nurse tries to take his oxygen saturation levels. When she can't get a reading (bc he is THREE and the reader doesn't fit him), she tells me to get him to breathe through his nose out through his mouth. Really?!? B/c he is going to do this at 3 years old with me instructing him. We're taken into a room that I'm sure was designed in the early 80's and never touched again since and seen by a nurse practitioner. She prescribes 3 meds which when I called our pediatrician instructs me that one was the wrong dose for his weight and the other was absolutely not ok for him to take orally. This clinic smelled of cigarette smoke. It is difficult to find and needs to be thoroughly sanitized. The (I think she's a) nurse at front desk was friendly and explained what bronchitis was and that my son was not contagious, only after I asked.
