I love anything iced and love cute cafes. I came here for the French Toast & Creme Brule Iced Lattes. They were pretty amazing! The Creme Brule legit tasted like the dessert. I like the ambiance of the cafe but sucks that its a little tough to get parking, only street parking. The parking in the back is for resident permiy parking only. The drinks pricing is pretty high but you get what you pay for, the drinks are quality based on my 2 iced lattes. Would come again & would recommend! read more

The woman working today was so incredibly rude. Will not be returning. I was so excited to try the cool coffee flavors but I am vegan so I ordered a dairy free one. When I received the coffee it was clear the cold foam was made with milk which was no problem, mistakes happen. But when I went to ask the woman to confirm, she was incredibly rude and said that if I wanted it dairy free then I should have asked for it. Absolutely will not be returning. Made a quick pit stop with a group of colleagues on a Saturday morning. Great selection of fresh coffee and pastries,lovely interior. Only wish the service was a bit faster/more efficient as it took as while to get our coffee's (though I appreciated that they could accomodate my request to use my own coffee mug!), and we had to check back in to retrieve our pastry order,and it wasn't that busy at the time. Stopped in here for a quick bite around lunch and I'm not a big fan. Ordered a vanilla chai freeze and a chocolate croissant. The freeze was basically flavored ice and while croissant was ok, nothing special. The price for the 2 items was very high...$17. Won't be coming back. read more

Perfect spot to sit and grab a coffee, I love this coffee shop because it has ample parking in the back, AND it's open later than most. When you walk inside there are many chairs and tables to sit, as well as a bar stools. The coffee was delicious, not too sweet and not acidic. Most importantly, very reasonably priced. Everyone inside was friendly and took the time to talk and make suggestions. Will definitely be making this my "after work" spot. Pharmacist approved! read more

A family-run cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, self-roasted beans, and a consistent brand aesthetic. It's been open since Nov 1, 2024, and from the quality of the drinks, it's clear Forum has designs upon being great. For me, a home barista, I'm always interested in the length of the flavor profiles of the latte. This one had the requisite long finish that is the mark of being freshly roasted and properly dialed in. That said, it wasn't stirred well, which I only realized once I got deeper into the glass. As a result, the flavor came off empty for the first third of the drink. Chalk it up to the fact they just opened. The young woman who took my order and served my drink was obviously well trained and concerned about my experience. I love that I got a reusable cup when I told them I would dine in, and I love that the straw was merely offered, not brought and therefore destined to be tossed away. There are tons of coffee drinks on the menu - pourover, espresso drinks, and cold brew (on tap). I appreciate a place that is actually coffee-focused. I do wish the parking situation were better. The lot off the main road is fairly separate from the storefront, so it's a bit of a confusing walk as a first-timer. There were also cars parked on the shoulder of the main road, which just looked risky. I'll be back! read more

This is an updated review, after many visits post my first glowing review. There is a number of multiple issues not only with short staff, long waits, wrong drinks to full on wrong orders!! My most recent experience warranted a beyond frustrating experience that has led me to change my perspective of this business. Most recently, I decided after many times of horrible counter service, maybe a pick up order ahead of time, using Square, is best. Placed the order and drove 30 min to pick it up. Arrived at Forum and the kid behind the counter says "oh I didn't make it because we don't have the ingredients" !!! Not a phone call, nothing. Then he offered to make me something else, both of which were incorrect- this took 25 minutes !!!! 25 minutes to make two drinks- wrong. I was patient, he was alone, however last visit was similar with two people behind counter. The coffee is good. Service is horrendous. read more

Very disappointing experience at Forum Coffee. I waited about 40 minutes in line just to get a coffee. The owner himself said they don't have enough staff and that they themselves don't really know how to make coffee properly. I felt bad for the new girl working there - she was clearly trying her best, but it also seemed like she hadn't been properly trained. In the end, even the simple black coffee I received was extremely bitter and unpleasant. Long wait, poor organization, and bad coffee. Definitely not worth it. read more

I fully support this outstanding local business and totally appreciate them as they recently changed their cashless policy. My husband surprised me with a coffee from Forum Coffee today. I hadn't heard about them before, but I am so glad that I tried it. I had a chocolate covered strawberry latte with almond milk and it was absolutely divine! It tasted exactly like a chocolate covered strawberry with notes of coffee. I was told that it is a seasonal flavor, but I can drink that delicious drink all year. I also tasted the iced latte which was a refreshing coffee beverage that wasn't too sweet or strong. Forum will now be my favorite local coffee shop and I can't wait to try more of their items! read more

Super cute addition to East Hanover. Heard this coffee place was all the rage so decided to try it out myself. They have a pretty simple menu, but have soooo many milk options! I got an iced mocha with pistachio milk since I have never tried that. It was super creamy and delicious. Their baked goods are delicious as well - tried the chocolate chip cookie which was huge! First time customer, we stopped in since we were in the area and wanted something before heading home. The service was good, no complaints there. My main issue and reason i gave 3 stars were the drink themselves. We ordered a chai latte as well as a matcha latte, the chai needs to be improved on or take it off the menu, it was extremely watery, no taste at all, i equated it to spicy dish water. The matcha was okay it wasn't as bad as the chai but it was too milky with no matcha taste coming through but it was at-least passable with a little sugar. I am not familiar with this establishment and i don't think my experience warrants anything less than a 3 because id be more harsh if the COFFEE drinks were bad. And from other reviews people seem to love their coffee. I just wonder whats the point of having options if they dont get the same love and care. read more

Place is beautiful. There are no prices in the store. I have mixed feelings about the cloud matcha coconut. They use strange coconut water and a blender to mix the matcha with heavy cream to create the foam. So you can still see matcha powder in the foam. Today is the day after the grand opening yesterday. There is a lot of room for improvement. I'll review today and go back and see if they have improved and update my review. First impression, there were too many people behind the counter and it was very disorganized. There was no food menu. There was only a tea and coffee menu and the food was behind a plastic sheet with labels. I ordered a large coffee with cream, monkey bread and an egg sando. They asked what kind. I asked for sausage and peppers. When it came out, it had no peppers on it and it was cold. The monkey bread was also cold. Everywhere I've gotten monkey bread they heated it up. I ordered a large coffee and got 16oz. 16oz is not large. Each item was given to me separately. The coffee was given to me with a kit that seemed like it was just placed in it. When I went to tell someone, he walked away from me. The guy next to him said he'll take care of it. It reminds me of a place with too many chiefs and not enough Indians. It's like the right hand isn't communicating with the left. I'll come back in a month or so and see if they have improved. The ambiance can be quaint but it needs to match the service to qualify as quaint. I'll update my review at that time. They're new, so as I can't recommend if you go or not, give them a try is all I can say. read more

When I first walked in, the atmosphere was so warm. It felt as if Forum has been the neighborhood spot around for generations. The owner greets you as if he already knows you. The pastries looked amazing, I went with the potato pepper and egg sandwich. It was delicious. The bread was so freshly baked, crispy and flaky outside, soft warm middle. I have never seen potato, pepper, and egg on any other breakfast shop menu, it was unique and worked amazingly. The cappuccino was served in a glass cup with a heart design in the froth on top. Clearly they stress attention to detail and care about every cup. It felt very hand crafted and individualized compared to most shops where they just pump out cups. It really was unlike any other coffee shop. I will definitely be a regular. read more
