This was a cute, unique boba shop right in downtown Denville. The boba itself was ok and seemed mostly made from powder (or at least tasted like it). The shaved ice cream was surprisingly good with creamy shavings (not icey at all!) and a good portion size. However, with that big portion size, I did get a bit tired of the artificial pink sweetness, but that's on me for trying to finish it by myself. They sell a lot of cute trinkets like phone charms and plushies and mini claw machines. I might not come back for boba but I would come again for the shaved ice and to check out their other dishes. Cute little spot in Denville. It has everything from bubble tea to Pokemon and Squishmallows to a mini arcade and adorable tchotchkes. I dropped by because of rave reviews and was not disappointed. My daughters had a blast running around, checking out all of the squishmellows and playing the claw game for prizes. They could've spent hours. clearly customer service needs a little attention. I ordered four drinks, which were just left to be picked up, no bag, no straws, while the other drinks and straws were put in bags for people. When I asked the woman at the register for a bag, she completely ignored me and went about making the next person's drink. When I said, could I get a bag? I asked you a couple times, she stops what she was doing and says to me I am with a customer. so for that, she could stop, but not to give me a bag. The other girl working there, had the audacity to say to me you need to wait, talk about great customer service in this place! I was patient with the woman standing at the register, and asked politely twice, to which she ignored my request. But of course, you would side with the ppl that work there. You being the business owner, or manager, should've come out when you heard my conversation with the woman at the cash register. maybe don't hire people who don't know how to serve customers. You are in the customer service, CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. You are going off based on what your employees told you, you were not there. It was just two women there, so instead of CLAPPING back from behind a computer, come out and see it with your OWN eyes. i'm sure no one will want to come to a place where the manager goes off on a customer like this. read more

We go there almost weekly because we love their bubble tea, treats (plenty of snacks!), amazing plushies (many which are very unique and hard to find!), and their overall vibe. I've had bubble tea from a lot of difference places over the last 15+ years - including the city (Flushing, Chinatown, etc.), California (SF), and even Taiwan where bubble tea originated, and hands down BiP has the best bubble tea in the area with the perfect consistency bubbles and flavor. The staff is super friendly, and you can tell that they take great care of their customers. There are definitely regular customers, and Vicky remembers A LOT of people's orders - including ours, which is insane and shows that she has a lot of attention to detail. We ordered matcha ice cream on egg waffle with pocky and mochi topping AND strawberry ice cream on egg waffle with red bean and mochi topping. It was a little longer than the 15 minute wait promised. We're patient enough but the toppings were meager and at $9.25, I would expect more. Specifically, the egg waffle was simply not hot at all (it was lukewarm temperature) and the texture was not soft, it was hard to cut through with plastic knife. read more

I've been coming to Bubble in Paradise since they first opened--back when I was still in high school--and it's truly become my go-to spot over the years. I hate to give fewer than 5 stars, because I'm really genuinely thrilled that bubble tea has made its way out to Denville. I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca. This is my standard drink. It hit the sweet and vanilla-y flavors that I look for in taro, but I wanted it to be stronger. I found the tapioca chewy, which made me question its freshness, but I appreciated that it wasn't drowning in syrup. For these reasons, I'm deducting a star. To me, an aging millennial, bubble tea is a special treat that needs to earn the right to put high fat and sugar content into my body. In other respects, this place is an exemplar of the genre. The menu is on the wall so while you're waiting on line you can check it out or you can check out the menu at the register. From Pocky snacks, to key chains, to different drinks they have it all. Food/Drink: You can download their app where you collect points for rewards and order ahead which I always love for a business to have. There were so many tasty items to choose from. I was sold on their split cup where you can order two drinks in one. I also wanted the bubble waffle and taiyaki ice cream but I couldn't eat all of it LOL! I ordered the brown milk tea and taro bubble tea with tapioca. I also picked up two boxes of Pocky and two bubble tea keychains. I spent about $28 in total. My bubble tea was so good! I can't wait to go back and try more. Service: Was super quick! The lady had my cup ready once I said 'split cup." They also sell DIY bubble tea kits which is a cute gift idea. You'll get stares and questions as you walk out with a huge bowl of Mango Madness. With the large beyond massive you'll need a couple of friends and their spoons to help devour this. They have split cups that let you enjoy two different drinks in one cup. My boyfriend got the brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar jelly and rainbow popping bubbles which was pretty sweet but that's what he likes. So relieved to find this place. I used to live in California where boba shops are abundant but was not expecting to find much in Morris County New Jersey. When I stumbled upon this place, I was besmirched by it. It was right next to a dairy that looked like it had been there for a while so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But going in, you could tell that they wanted to make the place stellar. It literally reminded me of stores I've seen in California. They have merchandise, quirky things, and are definitely ready to serve in the safe manner during these pendemic days. I got the taro temptation (see my attached picture). At first I thought it was way too expensive but then what they gave me was definitely large and I felt like it was worth the price. However I had to rate them down one star because the taro shaved ice was lacking in flavor. Everything else was delicious, all the toppings but the taro shaved ice itself just did not have that kick that I'm used to. I'm going to go back though and try something else. Definitely want to sample their menu before I leave New Jersey soon. They also have a great online ordering system that makes it so you don't have to go in and stay very long. My friends and I wandered in on Saturday night since Denville Dairy was closed. Thank god we did! Bubble in Paradise was great! I loved the plush toys for sale at the front of the store and the menus hanging all around so that you can make a decision while you are in line! My friends got a bubble tea and cup of ice cream and really enjoyed them. I ordered the "taiyaki." It was so great! The fish-shaped waffle was adorable and the ice cream tasted delicious. I visited this cafe for its grand opening. If you know Green Seed, the decorations for Bubbles In Paradise is the same. It is very clean and spacious-- there are lots of seating areas available. When you walk in, they have a mochi ice cream bar with lots of flavors. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the taiyaki ice cream in red bean flavor. It was very delicious, it came with a stick of mochi on the side. The ice cream was drizzled with red beans which was a great addition to the ice cream. Since it was the grand opening, if you order taiyaki ice cream or egg waffle, you get a free small bubble tea. I got the Taiwanese mango bubble tea and it was yummy. The tapioca balls was a chewy consistency that I like. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will come back again. Everything is very aesthetically pleasing/Instagram worthy. The portions do come a bit small for the price you have to pay. However, I will still highly recommend this place to anyone who loves desserts. read more

The service is second to none. With everything going on and all the frequent guests coming in and out, they maintain poise and consistency in their food and drink. I was disappointed upon a recent stumble upon social media to see how negatively a recent customer not only ranted during a review but treated the staff unkindly. This niche restaurant is a gift to our community so as customers, be it new or returning, at the very least we should be able to treat one another kindly and practice patience when staff is working hard balancing all the different things going on at their establishment. There are so many squishies to buy to support this small business, but the squishies and Asian snacks are overpriced.
