My Negative Experience with Wilkerson & Associates, Inc…read more My experience with Wilkerson & Associates, Inc. was extremely disappointing and has left me feeling that I paid for services that were never fully performed. On November 14, 2025, I retained Wilkerson & Associates to complete land surveys for five properties in Prince George's County, Maryland. I paid the company $11,500 for the work. After months of waiting, I eventually received completed surveys for only three of the five properties. The remaining two properties, located on Viola Place and West Park Drive, were never physically surveyed. What makes this situation particularly frustrating is the lack of communication throughout the process. From November 2025 through March 2026, I repeatedly attempted to obtain status updates. It was often difficult to reach anyone with authority to discuss the project. Phone calls frequently went unanswered, messages were not returned, and I was routinely told that ownership was unavailable. As a client who had already paid in full, I expected transparency and regular communication regarding the status of my project. On March 12, 2026, nearly four months after payment, I finally received surveys for three of the five properties. Then, on March 24, 2026, I was informed for the first time that Wilkerson & Associates had encountered alleged access issues and neighbor interference regarding the remaining two properties. Despite these issues supposedly existing for some time, I was never proactively informed. Instead, I learned of the problems only after repeatedly following up and requesting answers. Even more concerning, the documents eventually provided for the two uncompleted properties appeared to be modified versions of publicly available plat maps rather than the result of an actual field survey. No fieldwork was performed, no survey stakes were placed, and no completed survey products were delivered for those properties. When I requested a refund for the work that was not performed, I was met with resistance. I sought a reasonable partial refund of $4,600, representing the portion of the project that was never completed. Despite the absence of completed survey work on the two properties, the company refused to provide the requested refund. The most troubling aspect of this experience was the apparent lack of accountability. It was nearly impossible to speak directly with decision-makers, and when I was finally able to discuss my concerns, I felt that my complaints were not taken seriously. Rather than working toward a fair resolution, the company appeared more interested in avoiding responsibility. As a result of this experience, I filed a complaint with the Maryland Board of Professional Land Surveyors and am pursuing legal remedies to recover payment for services that were never provided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Wilkerson & Associates. Clients deserve honest communication, timely updates, professional conduct, and fair treatment when contracted services cannot be completed. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations.

A liar, a thief, and a crook. Charged $3,000 to print off maps from free publicly available maps…read morefrom the government. When I said I was unhappy and wanted a refund, he sent me a bill for another $800. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy. I ended up getting an actual qualified engineer to do the work correctly for $1,000. Roland Joun is a fraud.
