Having just moved to this area and I hadn't yet gotten a new dentist yet. When I chipped my front tooth, my next door neighbor recommended this office. They got me in within 2 hours of calling. The building is adorable and located in a woodsy area so that you can watch wildlife outside as you sit in the chair. They have cutting edge, mind blowing technology with their own lab that make the crowns while you wait. No need to make temporaries and return later for the permanents. I can't begin to say how impressed I was by the service! I thought the bill would be really high given how many things were done over more than 90 minutes. Don't accept my insurance and didn't offer any kind of payment plan. Also incredibly expensive.

Be very wary when going here as a new patient. I thought I was going in for a cleaning, it ended up all they did was XRays, a LOT of them. I was lucky that I asked if they were all covered by insurance, because it turns out one set that they were just going to go ahead and do was not. Then I went for my cleaning and the hygienist said "I see you're here for part 2" (of a special cleaning for gingivitis). I had to tell her that I had never had the first part. Then she did a fluoride treatment, not covered by insurance, without asking first. It was lucky they had already quoted a price for the visit or I would have been paying more for that visit. The same sequence of events happened with my daughter, except she didn't ask about the things I did and ended up paying for stuff she should not have, like $68 for a regular cleaning. The cleaning they did for my daughter was the same gingivitis cleaning they did for me, even though she was never told she has gingivitis and she said it felt like a regular cleaning. I could go on, but suffice it to say we will not be going back. And I definitely would never recommend them, especially if you care about your wallet. Oh, by the way, chances are you won't actually see Dr. Dennis you'll see 1 of the other 2 dentists in the office. read more

They cared about me as a human and about my teeth but they didn't treat me like I was stupid for asking questions or wondering about options. Would highly recommend and send people their way! I have been a patient of Dr Susan Dennis since 2013. I have had cosmetic dentistry, implants, caps, and fillings, with regular visits, minimum 4 times a year. At one time I was going every 3 months for cleanings to improve the numbers on my perio chart. On Feb. 23rd of 2021, I went in for a simple cleaning when I was told I needed bacteria testing (cost $197) with a follow up consult. On Feb. 23rd for the first time, I was given a copy of my perio chart and the results of my bacteria test. I was diagnosed with advanced periodontal disease. I did not agree with this diagnosis, and the results of the bacteria test (Perio 360 profile) showed low risk of progression or recurrence. However, I was prescribed laser treatment and periodontal therapy at a cost of $1200. Dentists can refuse treatment to anyone, but they are expected to respect you and your decision-making process. I was also told at this follow up appointment that if I denied this treatment, I would no longer be treated as a patient at this practice. After being a loyal patient for 8 years, I was appalled! I also read reviews of other patients being refused treatment for the same reason. Surviving covid, dealing with a tough year, being grateful to have life returning to normal was so wonderful! Going to my hairdresser, the restaurants, seeing family for the first time in a year, then this. Being rejected by your own dentist. Yes, she does have state of the art equipment, she is talented, I appreciated her hygienists-especially Chris. But to turn away patients is unethical, according to associates of mine who are practicing dentists. If you are, or become a regular patient, be aware that you may be prescribed a treatment one day that you either cannot afford or do not feel is necessary. It is not up to you to decide, or you too will be expelled from this practice. They may dispute this, so the question becomes, "Why did you let this happen? It happened on your watch!" read more

I recently made an appointment to see Dr. Dennis when I was looking for a thorough dentist for a FOURTH OPINION, who could think and work HOLISTICALLY, to hopefully help me figure out a plan of action other than extraction or a root canal, for some pain I was experiencing in one or two teeth. No one had been able to give an exact diagnosis, or agree on which tooth was causing the extreme pain, including an oral surgeon. When I arrived at the office, I was introduced to all the employees, and was ushered around on a tour of the building, shown some state of the art equipment, and the framed diplomas of Dr. Dennis and her associate dentist Dr. Adalene Chabon, who I was told both graduated at the top in their classes in dentistry school. The person I spoke with over the phone said there would be no charge for a consultation if no work was done, and I made it clear I had a holistic mindset, and that was why I chose Dr. Dennis. When I went to the consult room I was introduced to Dr. Chabon with no explanation of why I wasn't seeing Dr. Dennis, and my history was taken, and I was told I would be charged $91, even if no work was done. Dr. Chabon was pleasant and all that, but only did the same stuff the other three dentists had done, meaning she gave a cursory examination by looking at the x-rays and saying they were inconclusive, tapped on the two teeth, noticed my gum was receding on the tooth that had had a root canal, and suggested I needed see an endodontist "expert". I am giving three stars because everyone was so personable, the office was very nice, and they were able to get me an appointment for October with an endodontist who had told me they didn't have any openings until December. read more

The absolute best dental office I have ever been to. I cannot say enough nice things about the entire staff, their professionalism, compassion, kindness, and empathy showed me. They knew I was terrified of the distance and worked so hard to make me comfortable; which it was about the most comfortable I have ever been. They explained everything to me as they were doing it. I don't even know where to begin, woke up yesterday with the mother of all toothaches I don't go to the dentist on a regular basis I'm very apprehensive at 59 years old I'm still a big chicken when it comes to the dentist. I have never felt more welcome or comfortable then they made me feel when I walked in the door. Every person on staff are rock stars they are all friendly and welcoming. It only gets better from there, then I met Sara !!! dental hygienist extraordinaire who is not only a rockstar but is a superhero!!! SARA put my mind at ease after just a few minutes with her kind and compassionate words and let me know I was in good hands and at the right place. It was shortly after that she introduced me to Dr. Fu , (who also is a superhero and should wear a cape just as Sara) Dr. Fu came up with the plan to make everything better and set said plans to work! Long story a little shorter, her and her amazing team had me feeling better soon!! ABSOLUTELY Just an incredible place/Pratice, I still have a fear of going to the dentist however I think I will continue to follow up because they have my back and make me feel at ease. Wow. What a terrible waste of time. I have medicaid, so prior to making an appointment I called the office and asked if they accept Medicaid. The receptionist said, VERBATIM.. "We accept all insurance". So I made an appointment. Prior to the appointment I filled out all the online paper work trying to save myself some time. I Indicated in the paperwork that I have MEDICAID. When I arrived, the receptionist thanked me for completing the paperwork ahead of time. I was then asked for a copy of my ID and a dental insurance card, to which I replied that I HAVE MEDICAID, and provided my card. She said that is a general health insurance card and not what she's looking for. So I sit down and log into the medicaid website, trying to find whatever info she might be needing. I barely get a chance to do this when my name is called and I'm taken on a somewhat lengthy tour of the building. Finally I'm guided to the chair and ONLY NOW is when she decides to tell me "WE DON'T ACCEPT MEDICAID". EXCUSE ME?!?!? Why wasn't I told this when I called? Or when I completed the paperwork? Or when I walked in? Or when I SHOWED HER MY MEDICAID CARD? Or when I said I would find her the MEDICAID info she needed????? Clearly they thought i'd be so impressed by the facilities i'd just decide to stay and pay out of pocket for cleaning. I politely declined and was on my way. Even if I had different insurance I would not go here. Have the decency to be straight forward from the get go. She could have told me they don't accept Medicaid on four separate occasions. read more

Beautiful surroundings, friendly Administrative staff, friendly, professional Hygienists. Everyone at Dr. Dennis' office makes it a mission to create a relaxed, professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients. There is always a warm welcome, a smile, and a thank you coming your way. They explain every procedure to you before, during and after it is done. The communication between the Administrative Staff and the Hygienists is constant so the patient always knows what the cost will be for their treatment. There are no surprises when you see this office. The view is beautiful as well, the wooded surroundings is very serene and puts you at ease. I visited this office semi-annually for several years and had good experiences as I take good care of my teeth. When I went for my routine cleaning a couple of months ago, they strongly recommended that I start on a laser treatment for my gums. After explaining the reasoning and methods of the procedure, they also showed me the price which was just under $2000. This is not something that I can afford at the moment, nor is it standard of care among dentists. I wanted to schedule a routine cleaning (and re-visit the laser treatment at a later date) and they refused to schedule a routine cleaning unless I start the laser treatment. When I kindly explained that this is not something I can afford nor am interested in doing at the moment, they still refused to schedule me for a routine cleaning and confirmed that I'll never be able to do so until I start the laser treatment. I'm going to take my business elsewhere which is unfortunate as I enjoyed this office until this incident. read more

To say that I'm terrified of going to the dentist is an understatement. I had neglected my teeth for far too long when I heard of a thing called "no fear dentistry," allowing patients the comfort they need through options such as Nitris or medication. Dr. Chabon and her team were so accommodating and welcoming for both me and my five-year-old son during his first visit to the dentist. The office itself was an extremely calming environment all the way into the parking lot and I can't imagine a business that is more transparent. The first visit includes extremely friendly staff, a tour of the office, and a thorough look into your insurance and financial situation. I had a complete assessment and meeting with Dr. Chabon to inform me of their findings, her priorities, her other recommendations, all my options, and exactly what that would cost me out of pocket. I can't imagine being more calm about getting serious about my oral health than with Dr. Dennis's office. read more
